I miss Punk too, but ever since he came back after Wrestlemania 29, he wasn't really the same. You could just kind of tell he was sick and unhappy with what he was doing.
Hopefully we get to see him wrestle in WWE again someday, as long as he's 100%.

CM Punk was one of my all time favorites but in all honesty I haven't missed him much if at all.I hated how he left the company and the things he said after the fact which soured me a bit on him.But I happy that he seems to be happy post WWE life and doing his own thing, still a fan even with the sour taste in my mouth and look forward to his UFC fight and his comicbook writing for Marvel.
But I don't think he really left that big of a void in the WWE.As Austin and even Punk himself have stated there just a peace of the machine and once there all used up a new peace gets put in and thing carry on.With so much talent in the WWE like Reigns,Rollins,Ambrose,Wyatt,Ziggler,Bryan,NXT kids and now Kevin Owens I really don't think twice about him.Really with Owens around now who I always felt was a lot like CM Punk and also a little like Edge.He fills whatever small void Punk would have left.

Same. It's a very big void.

Punk wears his heart on his sleave (literally) and that's a rare thing in this business. If he does come back tho it is a very slim chance it would be a great day.

And honestly I think it would only be to main event WM. Even then, with how things ended, he's the one guy I could see telling WWE to go itself and never come back. I miss him so much on TV, he was one of the only reasons I watched, and ever since he left I've all but stopped watching. I catch a highlight every now and again but before I watched just to see him.

I miss him because I would love to see his interactions with
Bryan Rollins Ambrose Balor Owens Wyatt Rusev The Authority
and oh yeah.....Samoa effin Joe. Personally? I think the rise of NXT and the talent coming through must be niggling at him too.....because I would imagine he would LOVE to be working with and helping out these guys.

I miss him in the sense that he was a guy who they bothered to give mic time and storylines to, and in theory a Punk vs Rollins feud could have been AMAZING after Rollins became the Authority's guy. But in terms of character and performance, Punk was so bad/unmotivated/weak/hurt in that last year he was there that I don't miss him doing that every week. Personally? I think the rise of NXT and the talent coming through must be niggling at him too.....because I would imagine he would LOVE to be working with and helping out these guys. Nope. One of the reasons Punk left is that he was wrestling the likes of the Shield and Wyatts and he wasn't into it at all. That was how he knew he was done with wrestling. He didn't care about working with and helping the new talent anymore, even though they were great.

"That's probably not right" or something similar would be a better starting point y'know? In any case your right. I remember a lot of that talk at the time/shortly after his departure.

I think it's time to move on if he wants nothing do with the WWE. Good while he lasted (overrated, but still good) but his time ended and now he's a UFC guy.

Got too big for his britches; was a B+ act on a roster full of C's in an era full of C's. He just got too big headed. Glad the bitter little mosquito is gone.

I missed Punk A LOT. But then Triple H went out and set the world on fire with his NXT overhaul and i sorta just got over Punk.
We're in a New Generation....the years of Punk/Cena/Orton/Batista/Etc are basically over in my opinion.
Cena and Punk were no doubt the last generations Hulk and Savage i think that was meant to be Cena/Orton but that NEVER felt big. Cena/Punk was a god damn event when it would occur and their matches would get EVERYONE talking.
Bryan and Mania XXX started a new era in my eyes. Nothing has felt the same since that time imo.

Quick question about CM punk:
I saw on the connects section for the Dusty Rhodes tribute video on YouTube, an argument about CM Punk somehow broke out. Fitting tribute for the Dream, right? Anyway, some were referring to him as Saeed Punk. Does above know what that's about?
Sorry to high jack the thread, I didn't think this warranted its own.
