I'm kind of OK with it because I can repaint this belt easily enough, but others are going to be much harder and for the money spent, I shouldn't have to paint it. My BIGGEST problem with this belt is the missed opportunity of getting the design correct! Those side bars are still right next to the side plates leaving an enormous gap between them and the main plate. It looks stupid. On the real belt, the side plates, main plate and gold bars are all nicely spaced together. This is one gigantic fail, no other way to spin it. If you're going to mold it as one piece, then get the mold CORRECT!!

Back when I was a kid, the belts looked like this: It may not be perfect but it's a helluva lot better than that! Sure seems like they are headed in the direction of those old crappy looking belts haha why would you peak with VAC/VUM belts, then go alright well let's start doing sh*tty belts and see how they do? If it's accepted among collectors, and people continue to buy them, what's to stop them from continuing to eliminate the features that sets them apart? We are talking about the ELITE COLLECTION... Which should be the best of the best! This belt belongs in the basic line, battle pack, or Kmart figure... Except its painted

It took Mattel a year to have this belt made in figure size, and they just had to screw it up by making it all rubber. Not good. WTF.

Eh, I wasn't getting that figure anyway. I also wasn't really planning on switching out my scratch logo stuff for the network logo stuff, since everything I own (mostly) is scratch logo. Ring aprons, turnbuckle pads, announce table cover, microphones, championships. Until they start rolling out Raw/Smackdown ring skirts and tb pads with the network logo and the new IC and US titles, I'll keep using all the scratch logo stuff.

The divas belt and the NXT womens title belt that came with Elite Paige were both with the network logo and they were shiny plastic plates. Pretty disappointing for Mattel to go cheap with the E37 belt. I really hope this is not the case for future belts from now on. And here I thought the hardcore belt was a one off. I guess I was wrong.

Forget about the quality, because this was always coming. Mattel is getting cheaper and cheaper and the prices keep going up and up and things are just going to keep getting worse.
BUT, the thing that really makes Mattel look stupider than anything is the fact that they went to all that trouble of sculping the belt and didn't even bother to make sure it FIT BROCK LESNAR. Why couldn't they extend either side of the strap by two pegs/holes? That would solve the whole issue, I think.

I kinda like the fact that it won't look as bulky when it's on a figure.

You people are making it seem like they're scraping the bottom of the barrel for cash to make this. This might just be experimenting with new ways of sculpting and molding, while being cost effective. Figures now, are better than they have ever been and there's more of a variety.
Bills an expert and has that job for a reason (reasons why many of you dont), I'm sure this was the best bet to make the new title.

It's probably to give the belt more flexibility

I'm sure those pieces on the back of the plastic belts are so thick because they would break off if they were thin enough for the belt to fit correctly on the figures. I wish they made leather straps with metal plates for figures. I would pay quite a bit for perfect figure scale replicas. I think I like this new style better overall than the plastic plates though.

I don't see an issue with the title, I hate that crap behind the title belt because it's annoying.
