I love Taker and will take him any time he appears however, I understand him not appearing on Raw tonight because it's obvious going to be all about Heyman's "he's a cheater, he tapped, he's the Undertapper, he collapsed" diatribe. I thought Taker made it obvious in this feud that he didn't really care about anything other than just getting at Lesnar. He wanted to beat him but more than that wanted to just fight him. There was so much personal anger there with him that had accumulated that it didn't seem to matter to him about playing fair, being honorable or even technical winning or losing. Showing up on Raw to do what exactly... just state what we already know? That he didn't care HOW he stuck it to Lesnar he just wanted to get at him and will take it any way he can. It would feel redundant for him to actually state that.
Also I am hoping for Taker/Brock to be done and to finally get the match up I want to see for Taker at Wrestlemania 32- Undertaker vs. John Cena. The Sting ship has sailed for me and I think Cena as his final opponent would be compelling.

Taker has always been overhyped garbage. Most of his matches are slow and boring and drag on and on. The only good matches his had are with shawn Michaels. Kurt angle couldn't even get a good match out of him. I really wish he would go away.

Taker should be on Raw tonight. It's stupid he isn't. This is undeniable. Having a part-time vs. part-time feud is awful 99% of the time. We had one night of build for this. The brawl backstage was ing incredible, but that was it. If you're going to be involved for a PPV, at least kick your arse into gear and do the time for it. Properly commit to it. I love Lesnar and Taker and think a lot of people don't understand the finish hence the frustration, but if you enter a program, at least do it properly.

I remember the night it happened, that I wasn't pleased. Once the shock of it happening wore off, it became clear to me that it was easily the right decision. Brock should have ended the streak. Then with the way Brock was booked over the last two years, there was zero reason for Undertaker to ever be the one to beat him. That's just dumb. That rub was supposed to go to Reigns. At WM31. But the fans turned on him and they had to go the other route. So I see it as Rollins who got that rub (even though he never beat Lesnar ) Lesnar still hasn't been "beat" since he ended the streak. Sure he was the loser in the books last night , but it was clear as day he made taker tap first. It was an insanely screwy finish, and booked amazingly well. Both men came out looking amazing imo Facts. Just pure, 100% ing facts. You really get last night.

From a storyline perspective it makes sense that Taker isn't on Raw. With his new heel persona, he's basically telling Lesnar " you. I won. We're finished." whereas Lesnar still wants a piece of him.

Also im pretty confident that this is Takers final run, which is why he wants a few extra matches in before he retires at mania. Then again he looked really good last night imo Yeah it's honestly a shame, I wish he looked this good at WM 30, we may still have the streak then, cause you gotta think he figured he couldn't go much longer, I really don't even remember why it happened.

The taker can barely move anymore. Kudos to him for having the heart and onions to keep pushing. Didn't anyone hear that after the match at SS he collapsed back stage again? He's not in the shape to be doing a regular schedule..

TBH I don't see why taker should've been there tonight.I do agree if hes gonna be involed in a storyline then he should make the effort to show up more which he did for the lesnar feud.Even if taker did show up why should he go after lesnar again the timekeeper was the guy lesnar should've went for why should taker care he won his match it's not his fault so I don't see the point of him being there.

Made sense for Taker to not be at RAW tonight. He punched Lesnar in the dick, stole the win, and now he's out. He got what he wanted from Lesnar. Lesnar is now the one who wants revenge. Why would Undertaker show up and alow Lesnar to even possibly get his revenge (kayfabe).

I'm fine with it but I do wish he should have stuck around for raw so we could have got SOMETHING from him

I'd be fine if Undertaker left and never came back. Same goes with any other retired legend. They owe nothing to us, and we owe nothing to them. I don't bother getting mad about Taker's schedule because it's been the same for the last 5 years. Only last year it was even worse because he didn't show up until WM. For the most part though, part timers are alright. As long as guys like Rock and Undertaker perform well when they do come around it's okay.

I think you're under impression that Undertaker controls everything in regards to his schedule, which isn't the case. The WWE made the decision to keep him off TV until Wrestlemania this year because they wanted to create a sense of mystery for his return. They don't like to use him every week during a feud because they want it to be a special attraction when he appears. And as far as tonight goes, if Taker wasn't written into the script then he really had no reason to stick around. They obviously have no intention of having Taker vs. Brock III any time soon, so it wouldn't have made sense for him to show up on RAW tonight.

I agree with Bash. But more importantly, when I read the title of this thread, I began to sing it to the tune of "Part Time Lovers" by Stevie Wonder. LOL.....same here!!! I agree with Bash too. Given the end of the match @ Summerslam? There should have been an appearance by UT IMHO. Also UTs heelish antics on Raw last week and during the match have me wondering......

SS 97 vs Bret WM 12 vs Diesel WM 18 vs Flair WM 21 vs Orton Ladder Match vs Jeff 3 way vs Rock/Angle TLC vs Edge LMS vs Batista 3 way vs Batista/Edge Plenty more but that's off the top of my head.

I'd like if there was some sort of build and after effects of his returns. Not saying he's got to do more than one or two matches a year, but I don't see how doing an extra 3-6 Raws a year would hurt. A run in here, a promo there... A backstage segment. The WM build was ridiculous this year.

It would have been nice for Taker to at least dick kick Heyman or Brock before he left.

And lets not forget HIAC vs Brock Lesnar & Buried alive vs Mankind in 1996
