Nah, in 2009 they showed us how little they valued their customers and how little they valued brand integrity. Haven't purchased anything from Jakks since and won't going forward.

As long as they leave the main line figs alone then jakks can do whatever the hell they want.
Let jakks pump out the kiddy rubbish which means Mattel can divert those budgets back into their main lines and give us more detail, accessories etc....
I'll will admit though, until this is clarified further, I'm quite worried. Jakks figs were absolutely dreadfully terrible IMO. Don't want them anywhere near wwe mainline figs. *shudders*
If Mattel are done then I'm done. I flat out refuse to buy anything jakks related.

OK, let's wait and see their new wwe products.....this JAKKS’ 3D IT™ Character Creator brand, should be kind of cool and maybe Jakk's prices will be less steep than mattel's.

I feel bad for Asian market for figures. They get a much of repaints of the cs line and ra line. They will see prototypes and get something completely different. I hope Jeremy padawan or andrew nobody return. They are the reason Jakks cs figures blowed at the last few released series.
Jakks motto "jakks...don't believe the hype"

As long as they keep away (FAR away) from Mattel, then fine.

Only thing they did that I liked was massive amount of characters in classic line, Mattel's already catching up
The plastic was cheap looking and shiny
The scale was brutal
The bodies were horrible
Scans were half decent, sometimes great, sometimes brutal
Costume designs were often inaccurate or half assed
Hard to customize considering the boots were attached to the legs etc
I might pick up a macho man stack down figure but that's it

I would assume Jakks would be under the same restrictions as Mattel now, which means no Hogan's!! If they bridge the gap and continue the same lines they did years ago, then there are obviously some old CS Hogan's out there that would fetch a high price on the secondary market. I'm sure I'm thinking way too far ahead here...

Oh crap! I just realized I'm posting in the Jakks forum. Does this mean I have to check out those boards as well?

Im loving seeing all the frustration on here; sake its CLEARLY stated that they will be taking care of elements other than figures, and will have nothing to do with making the figures ffs! And in Asia they are only distributing the figures MATTEL makes, so people, so getting bent out of shape over nothing. Jeez!

Wow in 2019 I will have been collecting for 25 years. If Mattel does end I will hang up the boots it was a ride but statstarting over is just not worth it. Didn't jakks sell their ra molds to roh or something.
