Anyone have any stories with celebrities they've met?
I have a friend that graphs and usually go with him for some of the people that I enjoy wether it's a rapper, actor, athlete, etc.. Ultimate favorite story was meeting Vince McMahon at my moms job back when I was about 10 in 06. He had a doctors appointment . Day before he came in my mom came and told me he's coming in so I skipped school that day and literally just waiting in the waiting area. My moms job was just to process him basically and ask for his info and check him in. I see this tall man come in at the corner from my eye and bam it's Vince. I just stared at him and was in shock. Waited tinge was done with his appointment and I approached him with a WWE magazine, the 51 worst offenders issues to be exact and asked for his auto and he's was really nice to me and patted me on my head and said "have a nice day buddy". Still have the auto to this day.

I've never gone out of my way to meet anyone famous outside of events such as cons, but I've had my share of chance encounters over the years.
I live in New Hampshire, so I've met a lot of presidential candidates by default. One year a buddy and I went to a city about 20 minutes north of here where all the "action" tends to be on primary day, and Tim Russert asked us if we knew where Dennis Kucinich was.
I was part of a drum & bugle corps that was invited to march in George W. Bush's inaugural parade. For some reason Drew Carey was there, and while we were waiting in the DC January rain to step off, he walked by with his crew and made fun of us as we stood there shivering in our designed-for-summer outfits.
I went to Backlash in 2005, and as I was walking off to wherever I'd illegally parked my car, I wasn't watching where I was going and I stepped out into the road and almost got run down. Chris Jericho was behind the wheel.

This was back in 2010 I was out visiting family in Denver and they decided to take me to Elitch Garden. We went to the food court and to our surprise we saw Tracy Morgan there eating with his family. He look so uncomfortable and annoyed as people kept coming up to him and taking pictures with him. I didn't say anything to him, it was cool though to see a celebrity a few feet away from me.
One day I was out in the Strip in Vegas and I was leaving The Bellagio casino. I open the door so I could exit and in comes Vanilla Ice and two body guards with him. I hold the door open for them and they just walk in and don't say anything. I yell out "your welcome" and the body guards just turn and look at me.
Besides a few wrestlers at shows these are the only celebrity encounters I have. I feel living in Vegas I should have ran into more.

I've met a few voice actors here in Pittsburgh, the college I go to is big in performing arts and a lot of them when they're here like to check out the Conservancy department.
I met Governor Tom Corbett at a Vin Diesel film spot here a while back, he was touring the set and I happened to be walking past when he and some of his aides were coming out.
I've actually met quite a few politicians in my day. Got to talk with Hillary Clinton for a quick minute a few years back after a speech. Whether you like or hate her politics the woman just exudes confidence, really cool.

Jim Breuer used to frequent the pizzeria where I work. Not so much anymore, but I still do deliveries to his house. Very cool guy. And his dad is hilarious too.
A few years ago I was at a Gwar show in Allentown, PA. I was really early & decided to have a seat in the adjoining pizzeria. As I was working on a crossword puzzle, I hear a familiar voice. I look up & Dave Brockie (Oderus Urungus) was chatting with an old friend & his infant son 2 tables over. A couple of fans came up to him, but he politely shooed them away & said he'd do pictures & signatures when he left.
I saw Jess Harnell (the voice who did Wakko Warner from "Animaniacs") at a club in NJ. He was an annoying dick.

Here's a fun one, I was at Disney's Hollywood Studios during a college basketball early season tournament and as I was walking out, the entire Georgia Tech team was walking in, about 12 tall as hell guys and a few club managers all decked out in GT attire.

I've met a fair amount of wrestlers at autograph signings.
If we're talking random meets that's different. I saw Aries Spears of MadTV fame randomly once. I was actually in line to meet Maria Kanellis in New York and he walked by. A few people pointed it out and that was it. I also once saw former NBA player Vlade Divac giving an old couple directions in Times Square.

I had something of a friendship with Kaley Cuoco of the Big Bang Theory for about 5 years after interviewing her for a website.
I met the former lead singer of Hinder, Austin Winkler. He married a girl I went to high school with. First met him on Christmas Day of either 2008 or 2009.
Other than that, just various wrestlers over the years.

While at the Hard Rock Hotel last year, I walked past Taylor Momsen from The Pretty Reckless. I done a double take and thought 'Nah its not her. Yes it was! No it wasn't'. By then she had walked through the casino and I lost sight of her. On the way to my room I see a sign advertising The Pretty Reckless playing tonight. I bought a ticket and sure enough it was her that I passed. Some of the people I was talking to inside the venue were saying that no one had seen her and she was really secretive. They got jealous when I told them she casually walked through the lobby around midday.

I used to see Stevie Richards at various stores. A couple of times with the Blue Meanie. He and Meanie lived in the same area as me.

I met the Oakridge Boys when I was 5 or 6. Went to highschool with a former pornstar. Met JTG in the video game section of a TRU.

Got to talk to Buddy Miles when I was recording in Deep Ellum back in 2005. He would tell me stories of partying with Hendrix, Clapton and Morrison. RIP.
John Mayer was standing next to me at a guitar show a while back. I had no idea it was him until some chick came up and asked for his autograph. Not really a fan, but yeah. It came to mind.
Luke Wilson and Jerry Jones come into my work every now and then.
