I'll be like 99% done. I just cannot see starting from scratch again. As long as Mattel keeps the liscence, I'll continue to collect. But if that day comes where they loose their liscence with wwe, I'll stop collecting.

I'd be done. I already question whether to continue collecting Mattels, but I tell myself that a figure ever month or two isn't much.
But if I had to start from scratch, I'd be out.
Same thing goes for if Mattel ever switched styles.

I want to say I wish Mattel did lose the license, however I am not sure who could really put out a better product. I think about other action figures I collect and they all have their own issues from QC to distribution issues to cost to poor part selection. Mattel may in fact put out the BEST figure.

I sort of want to call it quits at times but I do want to stop collecting at some point yet I'm addicted to buying figures lol. If they lose the license I'm done, I'll save a ton of money and have a happy ending.

But if that day comes where they loose their liscence with wwe, I'll stop collecting. this. I've got too much invested in Mattel to want to start over. plus, i've gotten nearly every want I wanted out of Mattel. IF Jakks or whoever would occassionally make a figure that interested me, I won't say I wouldn't pick it up. But I can't see starting over from scratch again.

i said i was done after Jakks....fast forward almost 6 years and i've got as many if not more mattels as i did jakks AND a longer time collecting at least comparing RA era to Mattel
however im already cutting down my current collecting. even though mattel is gonna be around a long time, by the next time a new company would take over, if at all, i'd be done to the point i'd probably only collect 1 version of every current wrestler to at least have some representation. but ill never get into another collection the way i am with mattel now again

At 30 and with no end in sight for Mattel (and that is fine- I'll be happy to collect in some form or another for years to come), I will definitely be done when the WWE/Mattel deal is up. Never say never in the wrestling business though, and that includes fig collecting

There's no way all these people would quit. I think some people are just scared because they sold their previous Jakks and don't want the regret.

I'd continue if the next company gets the molds and keeps elites going... If they switch back to RA style figures, or anything that's previously been done out of scale... I'm out

If some other company puts out an HBK, a Bret, a Macho Man, etc, those figures are gonna have to be really terrible for me not to buy them.

Once Mattel is done I will be too. At this point in my life I'm not gonna go thru switching brands again and building up another collection

Like other people have said, I pretty much only collect the Elite Legends line. So, the only way I'd switch to a new brand is if they offered figures with a crazy amount of articulation; I really like how the Figma and Figuarts figures look ... plus, all those different hand options.

It would make it so much easier to save money and not buy plastic figures.
