Depends. I dont intend to continue... Unless the figures look great. If they go back to Jakks and they produce a product similar what they used to or with the TNA line, I wouldn't buy.

I want to say I wish Mattel did lose the license, however I am not sure who could really put out a better product. I think about other action figures I collect and they all have their own issues from QC to distribution issues to cost to poor part selection. Mattel may in fact put out the BEST figure. for the price point, and what most of us want in poseability Mattel is probably the best option. I like the overall style of Hasbro Marvel legends better (mostly the far superior ankle joints), but their paint QC is very questionable.

I never sat down to compare my favorite lines to see a point by point comparison....but my thought is Mattel would win. Speaking of Mattel, I think their DC Universe line is better than the WWE line. Look at those price points and the articulation you get.

I would probably stop collecting for the most part. Would probably buy the Warrior and HBK figures that the new company makes but wouldn't collect anywhere near what I do now.

Def throw in the towel, no way I could restart my collection again after years of Jakks and now years of Mattel.

It would probably depend on: - who had the licence - what scale the figures were and what they actually looked like (quality-wise) - how much they were - how easily available they were If, say, someone like Hasbro got the licence and made a new 3 3/4" line (similar to their Marvel Universe one) then yes, I can see me continuing... especially if they did a new Legends type line - it would be hard to pass-up! But I really hope Mattel keeps the licence for a loooooooonnnnnnng time to come...

If some other company puts out an HBK, a Bret, a Macho Man, etc, those figures are gonna have to be really terrible for me not to buy them. Where does your avatar come from?

I'll be done, I think. I collected Jakks for many years, and stopped in about 2008. I got back into the game because of Mattel, and that was 2011. I couldn't go back to Jakks after Mattel.

I found it in a google image search. Oh, and I'm not removing it until I get a surfer Sting . (I accidentally liked my own post, lol)

IF Mattel ever gives up their WWE contract I would have to see what the next company did before deciding to keep collecting or not.
If the next company is smart, they would continue making figures of the same approximate size and style as Mattel so that a new line would fit in with existing collections, accessories, and such. I would keep on collecting if that happened.
If a new line was a completely different scale and couldn't be displayed next to Mattel's without looking out of place then I would most likely stop collecting.
It was easy for me to go from Jakks to Mattel because I only had a few dozen Jakks figures of my favorite wrestlers. I am approaching 500 Mattel figures including all of my fix-ups and customs so it would be too much to try and replicate that in a new line.

I would most likely stop. Mattels quality and attention to detail and the figures in general are pretty much second to none. Only figs I would collect would b an occasionally undertaker figure cause that's my dude n always has been and I have to many to start all over again lol

I can easily call it done for figures when mattel ends. Never did jakks, just didnt care for their style. Mattel sold me and got me into wwe figure collecting.

It really depends on what the figures look like. Same here. If I like the figures; I will buy them. I often wonder what the post Mattel elite figures will be like. It would be pretty hard to improve on them.

I would stop!! jakks figs sucked I had roughly 30 of them as a kid but I have about 400 mattel figs because they are whats best for busniess. I hope mattel never stops because mattel revolutionized the wrestling fig game.

I'd continue on with whoever takes over the line as long as they're the same 6 inch figures with similar articulation. Even now that Mattel has had the line for almost 6 years I still buy Jakks occasionally.
