When Mattel is done, I'm done. I hope the contract gets renewed and if it does I'll keep collecting. If another company picks up the license then I'll go back to collecting DVD's. I'm actually holding out on picking up the Halloween Blu Ray collection which is going for an insane price right now on Amazon for some rsf pre orders to go up

Honestly at the rate Mattel is going, we'll have just about every major star from the 80s forward. And most of those that we don't get from Mattel, we can fill in with Jakks (with the exception of Owen Hart). So between both companies, I'll probably be finished, other than new stars.

I'd like to say I'd quit and not spend any more money on this stuff, but then again, my plan was to only collect a few (new characters Jakks didn't make and Shawn Michaels because I'm a Shawn completist) when Mattel took over, but now I've pretty much completely rebuilt my collection with Mattels. I like to think I'd really be able to quit if the license changed hands again...
Except Shawn Michaels. I'll still buy those. (And it starts again....)

I'd continue on with whoever takes over the line as long as they're the same 6 inch figures with similar articulation. Even now that Mattel has had the line for almost 6 years I still buy Jakks occasionally. This right here. On a side note, Jakks was awesome about covering the Legends.

If WWE does split with Mattel, I wouldn't be surprised if Funko got in the mix because they are all over everything. They're figures are getting better and more detailed too. The Legacy Collection line they have is pretty solid.

Once Mattel calls it quits I don't think I'll be in a position in my life to start a collection all over again. Especially if they go back to the sub-par Jakks quality.
