I just don't like when a guy gets owned for like 75% of the match and then pulls the win outta nowhere.
I don't like it when Cena does it, I don't like it when Reigns does it...

There's something I don't like about Roman Reigns, and I've never been able to figure out what - I find him to be cold, with very little personality - he's 1 of these pretty boy types, who cares more about his looks than actual wrestling. I cannot buy into him. I don't feel thrilled or excited when he says 'believe that' either. I feel the exact same way.

It's become painfully obvious that Vince and Hunter have an unhealthy infatuation with this guy, and they're going to push him as the company's top babyface at all costs.

Roman Reigns has won me over this year probably more than any other wrestler I can recall. I STILL think WWE handled his road to WrestleMania badly, but since then, he's become the star that they want. He does still need some polishing on the mic, but in the ring, Reigns has surprisingly been incredibly consistent. He's not Daniel Bryan or Sami Zayn by any stretch of the imagination, but he's Roman Reigns and that's perfectly fine. This is probably the best explanation of all of this.

gotta say the reaction from the crowd on raw was the complete opposite of the royal rumble crowd when he won at both.

He had good showings on Raw tonight and overall in has improved in the ring. He still needs to work on his selling a little bit and obviously his promos. He is a solid # 3 babyface.

His in ring work has definitely improved. His promos haven't much unfortunately. I still love this And Rollins, Caesaro, and Owens have been the most consistent. At least consistently good and not consistently mediocre.

Eh at this stage people just have to learn to deal with it, the guy is just doing his job and has improved a fair amount in the last year.
His downfall will be the crowds who only cheer for people who wrestled on the indies and every boo anyone else, but go home and complain WWE relies on older stars like wCw did.

I genuinely don't know what you're talking about. I think Reigns is the exact same guy he was last year. I actually think he's digressed quite a bit in terms of finding a character or identity. I also didn't think his match with Bray was anything special at HIAC. Lots of two guys going through the motions and not connecting with the audience. It didn't help that WWE didn't even attempt to give me a reason to care about the match prior to it taking place.
I understand why he keeps getting elevated but he's just not very good. Everything that was cool about Roman Reigns is gone. WWE didn't protect him and now I don't care. They'll probably put the title on him, and remind everyone JUST LIKE DA ROCK AT SURVIVOR SERIES, but I think he's so far away from "the most consistent performer," or whatever nonsense you're spewing, that it's comical to even read.
But to each their own. He's going to be WWE Champion come hell or high water it seems and there is nothing I can do about it. I just wish he didn't suck. Or rather, I just wish he had an ounce of charisma so I gave a sh*t about him.

He's been consistently entertaining the ring, not great, but good enough. The character is severely lacking, though, and not befitting of a guy who is about to be handed the keys to the castle. It's beating a dead horse at this point, but I think a lot of Roman's shortcomings can be immediately addressed with a heel turn. He's such a natural heel. The babyface shtick feels forced and puts him completely out of his element. The guy has consistently proven in media interviews that he's self-entitled and completely lacking self-awareness. Might as well turn that into a character that can make money. Then, with time and maturity, he can probably become the babyface they want him to be. I've never really seen the community so united on an opinion, really. The fans clamor for a Cena heel turn all the time, but the pundits and former wrestlers are always quick to point out why that can't happen right now. On the subject of Roman Reigns, everyone with a valid opinion seems to firmly believe the absolute best thing for his career would be a heel run.

I'm a big believer in "if they want to hate him, let them." I think the issue is that Rollins is blocking that spot that Reigns would likely fill. Reigns, by default is stuck in limbo. He's not capable of being the heel that Rollins has become and he's not able to be anywhere close to the babyface role that Cena, or even Ambrose, fills. He's lost but WWE is pushing him come hell or high water, which is his only saving grace. I think in 2015, WWE needs to tell the audience "this isn't our guy" before they push someone. Let the crowd either force the issue or make the crowd believe they forced the issue. New Day is a perfect example, and now everyone loves them. The same will happen with Reigns. If WWE would just agree that Reigns is Batista, and not Cena, I think everyone would be a lot better off.

This is how he should've been built up prior to WWE throating him with us last year.
