So This Whole Ronda Rousey Thing Might Actually Happen!

No, not interested in her coming to wwe at all

I could see Rhonda working out a deal something similar to Bobby Lashley in TNA.

She comes in for a month or two around the big four events (Mania, Summerslam, Survivor Series & Rumble). Works a feud leading to a PPV where she can either go over or put someone over. Goes and trains for her next UFC fight or film a movie or whatever and comes back to WWE in time for the build up to the next event.

That way she's not completely over exposed by the WWE and it helps give her matches that "Big Fight Feel" they have whenever Brock Lesnar shows up.

I believe she said she plans on being in the UFC until she's 30 or 31. I guess it depends if she gets bored between now and then with the lack of competition

But yeah I would love to see Ronda in the WWE only if they change the name of the division. She is not a diva and she has built up too much goodwill in inspiring and empowering women in the UFC to be saddled with such a stupid, ass backwards label. Plus they would need to do a lot more work elevating the current women's division if a star like Ronda were to come in unless she just becomes the Brock Lesnar of the women's division.

I'd have a few months build up of her destroying the divas division, move into competing against men and eventually challenge for the WWE title.
Now THAT would shine a big spotlight over the WWE and bring in way more viewers. Media outlets would be covering it all over the world and people would tune in just to see her fight for the WWE championship.

Personally I'd book her to win it too. The build up would need to be the one of the best ever, in order for it not to seem forced and actually credible. For example, she couldn't win it against Cena, Lesnar or Reigns. Someone like Rollins would be perfect. And they'd need to still make Rollins look strong even though he lost.

Rousey is a very likeable person and competitor, and booked the right way it would be spectacular to see everyone get behind her in this manner. Realistically she would beat everyone in the divas division with ease. But in the men's division, it would be more compelling.

Just my thoughts.

Ronda Rousey isn't putting anyone over that is currently on the diva roster.

It just wouldn't be beliveable.

It's going to take all of those things. Rhonda, Brock, Rock, Sting, Batista, and Undertaker. They're all going to need to be on the card. While I agree Rhonda is the monster drawl, no one person is going to fill that stadium alone, not even Rhonda, especially in a wrestling capacity. We're essentially talking about WWE filling the biggest stadium they've ever done for Mania, giving them the biggest crowd they've ever had for Mania, all at a time when they have the fewest viewers since the New Gen era. They need all hands on deck. Even then, I still don't think its going to be easy without a complete marketing rollout.

I'm not saying that Rousey should job out to Nikki Bella on her first night in. It's something that they can build up over several appearances.

Rousey coming in could be used as motivation factor for both the main roster and NXT women. I'd also have Rousey win the Diva's title her first match in and have her be the one to trash the title in favor of bringing back the Women's Championship. The Diva's gimmick has more than run it's course at this point. You could even have Rousey drop the belt in a multi-woman match, that way Rousey is protected for most of her early loses. This could also play up the fact that Rousey has never been in that type of environment before which factored into the loss.

There are many ways for Rousey to lose a match, and if you put someone with actual wrestling knowledge behind Rousey and the Women's Division it could be the start of huge things for everyone involved. For example Rousey could keep someone locked in a submission after the bell, forcing the referee to reverse the decision. Rousey still looks strong despite taking an official loss in the ring.

Like I said early the less Rousey the better for everyone involved. You could even have Rousey lose early in a feud only to ultimately come out on top of the Feud in the long run.

As long as things are booked in a believable fashion anything is possible in professional wrestling. This is where having the show laid out by actual wrestling people instead of some random writer would be immensely beneficial to the entire overall product.
