 King Barrett has been conspicuous by his absence this week. Barrett appeared on the WWE TLC pre-show on Sunday, however was absent when the League of Nations did a run-in during the TLC main event. Barrett was nowhere to be seen again on RAW last night. Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Barrett is injured. Meltzer noted that while he does not know what the injury is, it likely occurred before the TLC pre-show, although he was at the pay-per-view. The severity of the injury is not known, and there should be more details in the coming days. Barrett last wrestled at last week's Tribute to the Troops taping, teaming with Sheamus, Rusev, Alberto Del Rio, Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman in a loss to Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, The Usos, The Dudley Boyz, Kane and Ryback. Yeaaaaaaah he's probably done at this point. Wouldn't be even remotely surprised to see him as part of the next round of cuts.

Sucks tho. I never had a problem with her and could've been a solid hand for years but wwe

The best thing to happen to him was the Nexus, and that got ruined. Then Bad News Barrett worked great for him, but that got dropped. The whole King of the Ring thing was a joke. And then this League of Nations that he was a part of did nothing for him, either. Now this.
I don't see anything left to do with the poor guy, so it wouldn't be a huge shock if he was released, and it sucks.

Ima fan of his but they aren't gonna keep him around if the keeps getting hurt like that

In 2010 I really thought he would end up world champ the way they were pushing him

Between his injuries and the fact that they never give him the tools to succeed, Barrett should just leave at this point. His career was over when he lost to R-Truth about 15 consecutive times over the summer

His body just can't hang but he can talk and keep up.
