This figure might be the biggest shelf warmer of all time. My local TRU has about 25 of them, and my local Walmart the other day had 27. Amazon also was offering this figure for $18 and now for $11 which makes me think the Amazon warehouse must also be loaded. It's hard to believe that basically the same figure was once the rarest most expensive mattels on the secondary market, and now it might be the biggest shelf warmer in Mattel history. Is anyone else's stores loaded with these?

Its not a shelf warmer when they make 5 times as many.
How many f ing times does this board need an economics lesson....
Are Mars Bars shelf warmers because they are always on the shelf?!?

Settle down there buddy I'm college educated, and involved in business. I know how crap works. It's quite obvious they produced more of this figure than the others. That doesn't mean that at a $25 price tag in Walmart and a $26 price tag at TRU that they won't be keeping the shelfs warm for the winter. Also if Amazon is offering this figure for dirt cheap it obviously means Amazon has too many of them, which also means Mattel producing 5 times the amount as the others may backfire on them.

Not at the stores around here. The Super WalMart has none (they don't carry DM...I have never seen any DM figure there since Mattel started the WWE line) between three Targets I have seen a total of 6 Takers and TRU has had no more than 3.

Sting is worse around here. My Wal-Mart has had close to 3 cases of Sting since September, with none moving. Like, AT ALL. And Now K-Mart got in a Survivor Series shipper for Black Friday, and one whole section of that is just loaded with about 16 or so DM Sting's. Again, none have moved.

I wouldn't say Amazon offering it for $11 means they have a bunch of them. Amazon will discount any item until it is completely sold out of their warehouse. That is their strategy so they can make room for new figures.

I have seen more takers than any other DM figure in my area and I have a really hard time finding new figs around here. I have seen walmarts, targets and toysrus with stock in the 20s at each place.
Its possible that these stores got a better price and purchased more than the previous ones. So even when they have to discount it they will still make some money on them if needed. I dont see this line surviving into 2017

Hope they don't scale back production too much on future DM figures. $11 on Amazon is scary.

He's warming here pretty bad too. I've never seen so many dms lol. Doesn't help my tru is asking $30.99 for one. Like gtfo. I had them price match Amazon n they had to get a manager to approve cuz the price difference was too much lol.

Razor's been there now for months too. Sting is warming everywhere around here. Now Taker is starting to as well. the ONLY current line DM figure I CAN'T go out and pick up at a local store right now is Flair.

I still would much rather see this than E32 Bryan. I swear I saw E32 clogging up shelves this time LAST YEAR...and they are STILL on the shelves.

When are people going to realize that things sell differently in all areas.
Something may be in abundance in az and be selling crazy in pa.

It can also mean they sold a crap load of them and now demand has dried. The same thing was said of Razor and Hulk on the Uk shelves. Smyths toys had 40-50 Hulks when usually they have 5-10 Of a high packed Elite . Often less in fact. Smyths toys held firm and didnt panic and reduce, and now they are no where to be seen. Price was around 33 usd in GbP. I got a Hulk for even less than Takers 12 buck price, when Amazon Uk put him in a lightening sale. You honestly cant judge amazon by anything WWE related. Private sellers overprice, and amazon are late to stock and then their algorithms reduce prices because they were late to the party.

It's too early to know that. I doubt it will be though.
I can still see stacks of cm punk and e26 warrior in my head that seemed to last more an a year.

In my area, all DMs hang around for a while then just up and go when the next hits.
Not nearly as shelf warming as Bryan or JYD or TRU Punk.
