Not over the moon with Faarooq. Rocky I don't really need. But I will still pick this up. Can't pass up Nation of Domination Faarooq. Would of thought they would of went with a more of a must have choice for the 1st two pack back.

Not sure if these will make it to the UK but I'll be getting them.
Faarooqs head looks too far up on the neck that's my biggest concern.
Rock been too ripped is a shame but....

i agree with most of you about the issues. Farooq needed to be alot bigger. because this was my childhood, thats really only why im getting them.

I just cannot understand that torso for The Rock when all of his earlier figures had the correct one. Seriously WTF, Mattel?
That looks like the same Faarooq headscan with the beard unpainted and it looks horrible. The Jakks BCA one looked better. Nobody would ever guess who that was if you just showed them that head. It's 2015, seriously.
To me, this is a thrown together set of repainted elites with a hat and a belt that won't sell and Mattel will wonder why and will cease further production of elite battlepacks and say "well nobody buys them."
I will buy them because I'm a fan of the NOD, especially Faarooq. But value-wise and accuracy-wise, this is a 2 out of 10 set from what I can see from these protos.
Time to step up your game Mattel, because your headscans and body choices have really been slipping this last year or two, barring a handful of fantastic figures like Umaga, Zayn, Vader Goldust and Stardust to name some.

Rock's agent has a clause in his contract that the current Rock torso must used for all Rock figures or something like that. |

I like them, but not enough to buy them. Extremely questionable choice and execution for the first Elite two-packs in several years.

had a Legends Rock on my desk, literally waiting for me to find the time to (attempt to) customize that exact attire when this was announced back at the fest. Based on that and Faarooq being an amazing figure, this was an instant preorder for me. Cant wait to get it. Have the parts and will attempt to do Kama as well.

I've pre-ordered it but I don't like The Rock's choice of torso. The legends 3 one would have suited 97' Rock much better. The only reasons I can think why they chose that torso are budget or WWE telling them to make all Rock figures look exaggerated.

I like the set. One thing I'll do for sure is cover that Rock torso with the "R" shirt the used to wear.

Damn I was hopeful for this two pack but man that dark skin is nothing me a lot. Especially since in real life they pretty much the same color. I let it slide with the APA figure but this is a pass for me.

I really want this but 40 is too much. Yes, I'm aware that two individual elites are the same price, which is why it should be cheaper. 35 would be reasonable. It's the same price as the 4 packs and includes two accessories. I firmly believe this will be the death of elite two packs. They're cool figures and I want them but not at this price and I'm sure outside of our community this won't sell too well.
