Not a huge fan of the skin-tones, as stated before I think Faarooq's skin is closer to The Rock's. But the thing that really bothers me, I think Faarooq had a much bigger chest and more of a "powerlifters" body. The fig just looks too skinny to me, that's my main complaint, so I will probably pass. this is my biggest problem with Mattel figures. I LOVE Mattel figures, but I hate how out of scale some are. They destroyed that Rick rude figure with a scrawny body and arms while giving dolph giant arms. Those dolph arms should be on rude. Seth with scrawny legs. This farooq with a tiny torso. I don't understand their decisions sometimes.

I like the set. One thing I'll do for sure is cover that Rock torso with the "R" shirt the used to wear. I plan on doing the exact same thing I also plan on giving him the classic Intercontinental title, as thats the belt he held when Faarooq was in the NOD. I believe they switched to the oval as Rock became the leader (ruler) of the Nation.

I like it, but I'm not in love with it. At least not enough to pre-order one before I see MOC pics.
$45.99 is certainly a reasonable price for two Elite style figures with accessories, but I would be just as content paying up to $25 for a Flashback Elite Series Faarooq without having to spend an additional $20 for "The Rock" Rocky Maivia.
Kudos to Mattel for issuing all of these obscure Rock figures, though. But if I'm being honest here, I would have easily dropped $50 or more on this particular set had Faarooq been paired with Ahmed Johnson instead.

As much as I want this set, if for Faarooq and the IC belt alone (The Rock's a bonus to me), $45 is pushing it, especially after already preordering Nash, DM Stone Cold, and E41's flashbacks. Hopefully when it hits Amazon I'll give it a buy then, but I do wish to see more elite two-packs in the future, especially the rest of the Nation.

I get it, he's The Rock, but it would have been cool to get D-Lo, Kama or Henry since we already have the RSC Rock. All good though, I'm still buying it.

Looks good moc I was expecting it to be on a card like the old elite 2-packs but I like it Yeah, I love how condensed the packaging is for this set and all of the recent Elite Series figures. I will say that I'm still not a fan of Faarooq's skin tone or The Rock's torso. I'm also not so sure I agree with the size of Rock's head in proportion to his body (though that could be attributed to the elongated torso), but I do plan on picking one up at some point in the near future. I can't say whether it will be with Ringside or Amazon, but I believe in supporting either at full price if it means Mattel will continue producing Elite style 2-packs. In my opinion, the flaws of this set are not significant enough to prevent me from supporting such a concept.

Looks really good moc. I'm a fan of this new style packaging. Wish they each would of had a closed fist though.

I'm getting it. 45 seems like a bit much but i've been waiting forever for NOD figures. Thank Bill it's in Elite style boxes. Wouldn't have bought it if it were in a blister pack box.

You know, this would be a cool way to do classic tye-dye Dudley Boyz...I hope these sell well enough to get a few more sets out.
Anyway, I like how they turned out (Rock's torso aside). So glad we're getting some NOD figures. At the very least, we can get Kama and Mark Henry, and hopefully D'Lo if they can get him signed.

MOC package looks sweet, wish they would fix Ron Simmon's complexion though.

I don't think Ron Simmons was ever that skinny. He probably had more girth than that right out of the womb.
