IDK how I feel about this set. It's a huge want, but I feel like this Farooq is worst than the APA version.

The only thing that bothers me is the insanely ripped torso for Rocky. It looks like a nice set though.

I'm probably going to get ripped to shreads for this but I never understood how you guys can complain about things like torsos being too small or arms being too small when this is what I grew up with:  it's even worse when you guys complain about people having the wrong boots. Like really? Look at what I posted. This thing doesn't even look human let alone like Triple H. Yes, sure it was years ago and technology wasn't where it was at now and blah blah blah but even so, just be grateful for what you get. If I still collected I'd be stoked to buy mattel figures. |

Look guys, Mattel was right. These are to expensive and won't sell. I'm open to adding this set to my collection, but not spending $46 plus shipping on it. Just can't do it. Hopefully these are a bit cheaper on Amazon. I was thinking $29.99 price point. If I walked into Wal-mart and saw that on the shelf at $29.99 I would buy this without thinking twice. But $46 plus shipping (So like $53-56) is just out of the question. There are a few tag teams I would be willing to pay that much for, but Mattel has already released most of them (LOD, Demolition, Rockers, NWO).
If this set goes on sale for somewhere around the $29.99 price point shipped, I will add this. If not, passing. As much as I would love to see this succeed, financially I just can't participate with it without cutting back somewhere else.

Price wise...no. but the figures seem pretty cool though. I was thinking 29.99 considering I can get four elites for 50 bucks over two

I love the set and how it looks MOC but its tough to justify spending so much on it. Its 2 pretty basic figures with no much deco or color to the attire. Hopefully i can find it a tad cheaper somewhere else and maybe pick it up.

You can still tell its the rock despite the fact that his pecs aren't as huge. I understand you guys are passionate about this hobby but sometimes you go a little overboard. Not trying to sound like a dick, just being honest. At the end of the day they are toys and for the most part they all look pretty badass. |
