main story sucked, but Heath Slater and Axel made an appearance. Vince to to go away, he no longer moves like a normal person he now has that old man movement. Just stop Vince. Your product sucks and your son in laws stuff with padawans is kicking your arse.

Any chance Cena will side with Vince & The Authority to win the Rumble? I'm struggling to see where they are going to go now? Possibly Vince to bring Lesnar out as a last chance saloon to win the Rumble? It all could have been so easy and straight forward, Cena vs Reigns, Triple H vs Rock, Taker vs Sheamus or Cena vs Taker, Triple H vs Reigns, Lesnar vs Owens, Rock appearance.
It's just looking more and more desperate than ever now. Two Title Matches on Raw within a month, Vince McMahon coming to TV for no real reason kayfabe-wise, and now the Rumble shall be for the Championship. It's a desperate bid for ratings and network subscriptions.

cena can tie Austins rumble win record and Flairs title win record at the same time I've been calling that for months but I never would've dreamed it'd happen at the EXACT SAME TIME

Well Raw sucked and they spoiled the Rumble to an extent. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte was decent.

I really hope Reigns doesn't win the Royal Rumble, but I have a feeling Triple H may enter just to screw Reigns.

Lol. They are literally using a Royal Rumble match to build Reign's storyline with Vince/Steph/HHH. WWE is trying SO SO SOSSOSOSOSSOSOSO hard to put Reigns over. Vince is bumping his ass off to get Reigns over. I've never seen WWE try so desperately hard to push someone the way they are with Reigns. Its truly pathetic. They made Sheamus look like absolute dirt in that match. I swear if the league of nations comes out next week trying to build some credibility by attacking midcarders, I'm just going to laugh. Reigns steam rolled over that entire team before they even had any hint of credibility. I'm genuinely sick and bored to tears with WWE now. Take a break, brother.

So they're gonna up a Royal Rumble just to make it gravitate around Roman Reigns? Never thought they could go so far.

I was really looking forward to the Rumble this year as we had no standout favourite and there was a measure of unpredictability about it. They've just ruined that with that announcement at the end of RAW, surely there's no way Reigns wins and loses the title twice in a matter of months, the crowd reaction is gunna be brutal.
Anyone else notice that sly middle finger Vince stook up to the crowd before the match started?

I love reading the anger from the same handful of people in these threads, then reading it again a week later for the next Raw episode. It's delicious and hilarious.

I said this was a possibility in last weeks Raw thread, but I didn't really think they would. They need to load it with big stars, otherwise it will be a waste. Reigns should lose, too.

I don't understand why some of you are so mad that WWE is trying to build a new star in Roman Reigns.

I don't understand why some of you are so mad that WWE is trying to build a new star in Roman Reigns. I think the problem is that they're putting all the eggs in one basket with Roman. Most of the other talent is suffering because of the E's fixation on pushing Reigns. Roman Reigns is a good worker and has a good look, that's about it IMO. He's cringeworthy on the mic, and fails to connect with the fans to level a top guy should.

Rumble is a complete surprise. Love it. I have no idea what's going to happen and that's great. I've walked into every event recently and predicted exactly what would happen. Can't wait.

I don't understand why some of you are so mad that WWE is trying to build a new star in Roman Reigns. Because they are forcing it so damn hard. They dedicate every single show to getting Roman over. None of it is organic. None of it is interesting. The only thing that exists to them is making Roman the new Cena. Why not dedicate your time to building a good show each week? Better yet, why not push a guy that is actually organically over? It's just boring and tiresome.

Unfortunately he's injured and will be out for quite some time. Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens are two guys that may get there some day, but not just yet. I love Randy Orton and he's always an option, but WWE needs to build new stars so forget that. Daniel Bryan is another way to go if he can come back healthy. I would choose any of those guys over Roman Reigns to be honest. He just isn't championship material, and he's been forced upon everybody for far too long. I think the only reason the fans have warmed up to him is because they've been forced to eat crapso long they actually started to like it.

Another week and another step down the ladder for believably credible heels in the main event scene. Sad. I don't even hate Reigns, but this uber-protective, SuperReigns crap is just dull, uncreative, and lifeless. I suppose kids will cheer their hero beating up all the bad guys week in and week out, but anyone with a shred of intelligence or desire for actual interesting main event programs has got to be frustrated with things as they are. At least the undercard was pretty good this week. Ambrose/Owens continue to prove that they should be the main event right now. Becky and Charlotte had a nice little gem of a match there to continue their feud. Del Rio & Rusev vs The Usos was fun. New Day a highlight as always. Good stuff there really. Just the Reigns vs The World crap puts a giant black cloud over everything that proceeded it.
Though, I have to admit, defending the title in the Royal Rumble match is intriguing. At least it something that they haven't done before (1992 being for a vacated World championship), so props to them for that much. I am suspicious that we haven't seen Triple H since the beatdown at TLC, which leads me to believe the Rumble goes something like this...
Reigns wins a 'hard fought, over-coming all the odds, type victory'. His music is playing and he's celebrating in the ring when Stephanie's music hits. She comes out on stage, microphone in hand... "Congratulations Roman... It's just that... I must have totally forgot to tell you, but... This Royal Rumble has thirty-one participants!" Reigns looking all confused and muttering something to Stephanie. Announcers start going gaga. Suddenly, Triple H shows up behind Reigns, tosses him over the top rope, and claims victory in the Royal Rumble, becomes your new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and sets up the long await revenge match of Triple H vs Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.

Oh man, that main event was botchamania worthy! Vince McMahon is standing up when Sheamus Brogue Kicks Roman Reigns. Sheamus goes for the cover....instead of counting the 1-2-3 so Sheamus wins, McMahon takes a Ric Flair bump in the corner and just falls down for no reason, then the WWE 2k ref runs in and counts the 1-2-3 without anyone stopping him?
Wow.....they are never going to get over the "Roman Reigns overcoming the odds" angle if the obstacles they put in front of him don't make any sense!
Vince McMahon is such a harsh critic of everyone else, yet he's worse than anyone. After banning calling the Titles "belts", he calls it a belt last week....McMahon punishes and fires people for breaking PG, yet he flipped the middle finger to the crowd on camera last night!
Vince is a hypocrite.

The only way that this isn't a total disaster is if Reigns loses the title because of Triple H, and the match against Hunter is dragged out until Mania, with no title involved.
If Triple H vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE Championship headlines Wrestlemania, I'm going to have to consider one of my occasional breaks from the product. I don't think I can stomach that.
But, by going that route, I have no idea what they do with the title match. So, again, they've backed themselves into a terrible corner.
