TNA President Dixie Carter announced on Twitter that Jeff Hardy has signed a new deal with the company. This comes a day after TNA Tag Team Champions The Wolves also re-signed. Hardy's current deal was set to expire in a few months and there had been the usual speculation that he might be looking to return to WWE. Dixie tweeted the following on Hardy today: Thrilled to announce @jeffhardybrand has signed new contract @impactwrestling & will kickoff #IMPACTonPop tonight 11:13 AM - 26 Jan 2016 www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2016/0126/607063/top-tna-star-signs-new-deal-with-the-company/

People just don't get it that WWE does not want back either Hardy brother or Kurt Angle. For some reason this is the pipe dream of some fans....but I really don't get why. If you're a WWE fan who is an adult, you've already seen Angle, and the Hardy's in WWE in their prime. It's not going to get better than that.
People talk soooooo much crap about TNA and how they never create their own brand and that all TNA does is take the cast offs that WWE doesn't want instead of investing in new, young, unique, homegrown talent.
So when TNA does that......why should WWE at ANY POINT want those guys back? Especially when they have such extensive drug and DUI history? WWE would be hypocritical to take back 3 past their prime guys and take spots away from younger talent.
Wrestling needs a FUTURE, not a constant reliance on the past.

Wolves and hardy good signings for Tna. They need a little star power and is probably a better option for the hardy and wolves. Hardys getting old and wolves would probably get buried in nxt. Besides wwe just landed styles and Aries.

How loaded is the tag division in nxt? How underwhelming is the tag division in wwe? You think wwe is gonna pass up the current nxt tag division guys for two guys they weren't completely enamored with before, in spite of the current substantive nxt tag division which will soon include bullet club members? Or perhaps you think the wolves name recognition is enough to have them just show up and supplant one of their top merch sellers in an already unrecognizable division?

The Wolves were there when NXT wasn't going in the direction it is now. They had a fair showing again the undefeated tag champions at the time and lost. They weren't buried. That's the thing, with times changing down in NXT, I'm fairly certain The Wolves would get a decent shot down there to show what they can really do. The tag division in NXT is pretty bland right now too, as well as the WWE's. Really hoping TMDK debut soon, to freshen things up.

Maybe not as talented but much deeper I think in Tna they have more of a chance to showcase as a legit tag team. Nxt it'll be like roh again...tag...feud..splitsville...make up...do nothing....split up, etc. I think at this point their taking a step back for themselves in nxt as a tag team and keepin them their they'll do nothing and they'll do nothing on the main roster either. An eventual split will happen and no one will care because a). Been there seen that or b). Why are supposed to care about these guys?

They must have thrown the money they wanted to give AJ at him plus more. I guess he doesn't want to return to WWE after all.

If they're paying him a boatload of money to barely work how is it a bad decision on his part? Its a bad decision for TNA. Same thing with James Storm. These guys aren't going to turn down free money especially when they have families.

Why would WWE rush out to sign a guy who has already said he is going to need another surgery on his leg and be out most of 2016? If TNA wants to pay him big money to sit home, that's on them.
