the new boots have to be Ziggler or Billy Gunn boots - Sting had straps along the sides, it wasn't just plain.

Does anyone know what torso DM Surfer Sting has or did we not see it yet? No clear answer yet but it's speculated to be the E33 Batista torso, which I think is the best option That would be a cool choice for the torso especially since it's only been used once I believe.

Then thinking about it I was pretty sure Sting only had the one buckle at the top of the boots on the outside. (Maybe there were 2 like his DM) But the Dolph/Gunn boot have 3 or 4 straps that wrap completely around it. And the L1/e30 LOD boots would make him to tall unless they changed the calves to smaller ones. If that is the case I would rather they be plain and paint the buckle on myself. Still Dolph's will still be better than laced boots. lol

Sting never had a ripped physique like Batista, and that torso is huge

If they are going to be releasing a lot of Elite Stings (which I'm perfectly fine with), it would be wise to just get it right the first time around and recycle those boots for future Stings.

They did that already with the Crow Sting. But seeing this figure has more than likely already gone into production there is no way they are going to have another new boots mold sculpted and made in time for the correction Bill mentioned. So they will probably go with a laceless boot that they already have.

I forgot about that! Seems like someone dropped the ball if it's a part that they already made!

im confused. They already have the Sting boot mold. Its on the crow DM The problem I believe is that those legs are very thick and these are plain tights. Theres probably quite a bit of overhang or they arent compatible with the pegs.

im confused. They already have the Sting boot mold. Its on the crow DM Yes, but the Crow Sting has much thicker legs than this one. So the boot overlaps way to much. Here's a quick pic of the Sting boot and an e17 Lawler's on the calves the Sting will use. Give him the E17 Lawler/E14 Del Rio boot (has two buckles at least Lawler's boot does) than use the DM Sting foot to remove Lawler's third buckle. Here is the Lawler styled boot in white. Although this one is the basic version. But you get the idea. Give him a different foot to remove that third buckle and that will be the best option for now.

i always thought the crow boots were too wide.
but i assumed if they're changing boots....they have to change calves too. Because the crow boots are tall.
i just don't see them using a random boot, when they already have the accurate one molded. And i also don't see how they never accounted for this? Like when u get the rights to do sting...and ur making the Crow DM, wouldn't it have run thru ur head that u need the boots for a Surfer Sting too? what happened

The Crow boots aren't taller. They were sculpted as if they were mid-match where they were sliding down. They are no taller than the Lawler boots or the laced boots on the proto. They are all the same height. The LOD boots are taller.

I'm glad they got the finger tape right, it's a small thing, but a big deal for me. I hope Bill makes a whole new boot mold. I wonder when pre-orders will be up?
