I don't think it needs to be a DM at all... No title belt, rubber jacket that makes it impossible to pose in any other way. As you guys mentioned.. Incorrect boots I guess (I don't know which ones they should be).. This could have been in the regular elite line imo, but then again, I'm not the guy who budgets figures and I'm guessing the jacket deco made the costs way higher

This was posted a couple of threads down. Looks fn amazing! I'm glad the jacket looks how it does, the jacket wasn't cloth at the time so it 100% shouldn't be made in cloth in figure form. Excellent work MattelDesignTeam Awesome! Incredible!!! My most favorite and wanted figure from Mattel ever. |

The first Mattel Surfer Sting looks decent the boots kill it. The scan should have been smiling but it will do for now.

This is one DM that really doesn't deserve a $25 retail price tag Even with the wrong boots (which I can't believe they didn't correct) I couldn't disagree with you any more. I think it looks fantastic with great details in the face (sculpt/scan & details), jacket and tights. Even if the MSRP was $30-$35 I would gladly pay for it. I look at that scan and I picture him flexing at Flair after he (Sting) beat his chest after a series of Flair chops. I can't wait for this to you for preorder. I will preorder 2 and get 3 more when they hit locally. |
