Renne's hand changed from the original proto images, to the final product. Hopefully Stings boots can be changed as well. If not, it's inexplicable how an error like this happened.

Ugh! I was REALLY looking forward to this figure but...what happened? Sting has NEVER worn boots like that and they already have the parts to make it accurate. I'm not a huge fan of the hard jackets and that head scan is pretty bad too. Unfortunately, it looks like Mattel has is starting to take pages out of the Jakks playbook recently.
At $27ish after taxes, I'm not so sure this is going to warrant a purchase from me. :/

Stupid. Ive been done preordering DMs, this one too now. No belt? Wrong boots? Just a jacket? This couldnt have been regular elite?

I think what people forget about DM's is that they are meant to be a display piece. That type of jacket holds its shape better for display, especially MOC. IMO the details look better on their plastic jackets.
Also to the people talking about the cost I'm sure the custom box factors into it. The box is also part of the display.
However having the wrong boots sucks and takes away from the display lol

Its not even like Rocks torso...theyre boots! If he was a centimeter too short, oh well it would still look better than it is |

Definitely getting it, I'd make changes to it for sure but its still a stunning figure as is, especially so moc. Cant wait!

I've been waiting since 1990 for a figure of that Sting! His best gear IMO.
Love the jacket, rat-tail, & the face paint.
Disappointed about the boots. Gonna have to buy an extra Ziggler I guess.
