So trying to sway away from the depression filled night that was Monday Night Retirement, lets talk about Dean Ambrose.
I have been a fan of the guy but nothing more nothing less, but last night he convinced me that he is THE man right now in WWE. Going toe to toe with Lesnar this week and last. Calling him out, getting beat down and asking for more, had me wanting more of it.
I am not trying to bash Reigns/Vince, but this is the exact reason they should not have put Ambrose into the #1 contenders match; he is completely outshining Reigns in every aspect. He has not backed down from Brock or HHH, sells like a champ, and plays the "crazy" role to perfection. But again, when Reigns beats he and Lesnar at Fastlane, I think it is going to make Ambrose's star that much brighter.
In closing, the guy finally sold me as to why he should be main eventing PPV's and WrestleManias. I have been impressed with him before, but last night kicked me into overdrive.

If they are foolish enough to have this talent right in front of them, stealing shows & selling feuds on his mannerisms alone, yet still give all the glory to their CHOSEN ONE Roman Reigns, they deserve the backlash they're gonna get.
To me, the only way to go is to establish the Authority vs. Dean as the true rivalry, the actual new SCSA vs. Vince & his corporation. Hell, Roman turning & joining the dark side only makes this a stronger headlining feud. He couldn't do it on his own so he sold out like his brother before him.
Dean is another Daniel Bryan. He is the organic choice of the fans, the natural fit to carry a Wrestlemania moment & all the fans on his back.
Don't ignore that in favor of hubris, WWE. Don't let that stubbornness burn you.
Give Dean the stage. Let him go crazy.

I just suggested in the Fastlane thread to have Dean upset the world and win the Triple Threat. The weeks following HHH stacks the deck against him and tensions rise with he and Roman (Roman mad he lost to Dean). Finally have Reigns snap on Ambrose and beat him down, with his explanation that he had to do it and sell out his brother to get into the title match.
That way they can still have Reigns win at Mania, and feud with Ambrose all summer until Rollins comes back. Which at that point, you have Reigns totally align with The Authority.

Damn straight. Ambrose >>>>>> Reigns.
Dean's been killing it lately and I'm happy that he's finally getting his time to shine again. Right now I'm thinking that he'd be better off without the IC title as his feud is overshadowing the fact that he's a title holder. I just wish that Reigns was out of the equation and Ambrose and Lesnar would just face each other.
Either way I'm going to just enjoy this while it lasts.

How weak is the F5 now? That's all I took from that first segment.

After last night I'm 100% sold on Lesnar Vs Ambrose at FastLane, Reigns has done nothing credible in this feud. I really hope Ambrose does win at FastLane because he has definitely proved that he should be the man, not Reigns.

Ambrose is as legit as they come. I don't mind Roman, but Dean is the man.
I fully believe that Dean's time will come. I compare his current IC title reign to the IC run Austin had while he's popularity was red hot. It's just a stepping stone.

Ambrose is the man, his reactions versus what Roman gets say it all.

Ambrose is the man, his reactions versus what Roman gets say it all. The crowd just dies when Roman comes out. It's sad actually. The only reaction he really gets is when he walks down the aisle with the fans near him and when he lets out his monster groan before a spear.

Reigns has pretty much felt like the odd man out in the past two weeks. All I care about is Ambrose vs. Lesnar. Since we pretty much know it's going to be Reigns/HHH at Mania, can we just cancel the Bray/Brock plans and give us Dean vs. Brock?

Ambrose always shows that he is leaps and bounds better than Reigns, the guy was white hot in the fall of 2014 and was just as hot in the summer. Reactions Vince dreamed Reigns could have. Doesn't Ambrose's merch move well too?
Merch mover Great crowd reactions Over as hell Solid on the mic ......Yeah let's keep going with Reigns.

Dean Ambrose is "outshining" Roman Reigns because he's being booked to do so. This triple threat match has been awkwardly booked. Roman and Brock have barely interacted.
Why would anyone want to see Brock vs Dean in a one on one match? It would be a 5 minute squash match(see Seth Rollins at Battleground).

Ambrose has been killing it lately! He honestly feels like the biggest threat to Brock in a while just because of how bat-chit crazy he is.
If we don't get Brock/Ambrose at 'Mania I will definitely be pissed.

Why would anyone want to see Brock vs Dean in a one on one match? It would be a 5 minute squash match(see Seth Rollins at Battleground). Same reason people wanted to see CM Punk v. Lesnar (see SummerSlam). Because he is a fan favorite and easy to get behind. Lesnar is portrayed in mythical proportions and even though fans love Brock, they would probably want to cheer on the underdog Ambrose much much more.

Why would anyone want to see Brock vs Dean in a one on one match? It would be a 5 minute squash match(see Seth Rollins at Battleground). 1) Dean as the insane guy wanting to take a beating would make it fun. 2) It is way more interesting than Brock/Bray. 3) The interactions between Brock and Ambrose have been super entertaining. I haven't been this invested in a Brock program since the Punk one in 2013. His feuds with Cena, Reigns, Seth and Undertaker were all lackluster. 4) They do't have to make it a five minute squash. They could book it like Punk/Brock at SummerSlam 2013. Have it be a No DQ match where Dean does everything in his power to try and throw everything at Brock.

Even though this is all an attempt to give Roman a rub of Dean's popularity (again), it's still entertaining to watch it all unfold. It also exposes, inadvertently, of course, how much more natural of a choice Dean Ambrose is over Roman Reigns.
I suspect they're booking Roman as the odd man out so it comes as some sort of "surprise" when he wins at Fast Lane, which is stupid, but I'd expect nothing else.
Lesnar/Ambrose at Mania makes a whole lot more sense at this point than Lesnar/Wyatt, though.

WWE pretty much convinced me last night Ambrose is nowhere near the level of Brock Lesnar.
Storyline wise.
But I'm an Ambrose guy. They know what they have in him. All will end up well.

Ambrose is incredibly overrated. He is a poor man's Roddy Piper. I can not stand his stupid slingshot clothesline move.
