They'll continue. I've yet to see the Heenan Family in my area. IDK why the WWE doesn't help out the sales of their figures by spotlighting some of these groups. I know it'll be difficult because a lot of the legends have passed away, but some type of spotlight feature on RAW I'm sure would help Mattel move more units.

I think they just massively over produced these sets for some reason. They came out around the same time as the Legends Steel Cage set and were merchandised together at most stores, but I see far fewer of those cage sets compared to the Horsemen 4 Pack. If the Horsemen Set was more limited in production, then it wouldn't be as glaring. They probably produced more for the Black Friday sale too, and since they didn't sell we're still seeing the effects.

I think three figures with cool accessories would have sold better than four figures without accessories. Much like the original legends two packs, it's the fact the IV Horseman set had four guys in plain black trunks that is unappealing.

If we still had Hogan they could do an original nWo 3 pack with lots of goodies
Evolution DX Hart Foundation Shield Shield triple threat in singles gear Wyatt Family 3 Faces of Foley Evolution of Sting Evolution of Undertaker Evolution of Shawn Michaels Evolution of Ultimate Warrior
Stupid HOF gimmick holding us back. All of these would be better sellers than the Four Horsemen. Sad but true

target tracker in my area showed a new case at 2 of my stores. hopped in the car only to find more horseman sets. kick in the nuts. its a great set, but at the 3 targets in my area there is a total of 38 of them. ive bought 3 myself.
with this being said, 2 years from now this set is going to be very expensive to own just like the legends 2-pack sets. mark my words.

At all my local targets, theyve been restocked multiple times.
I dont think we can say the actual numbers they get based on current shelf satuartion.
I could see target wanting a two pack instead though. Less shelf space and move a lot quicker

Sometimes I wish wfigs and other collectors in general would just enjoy the line instead of worry about if something sells enough units. Or constantly criticizing Mattel. We begged for elite multi-placks and we got um. I won say Bill definitely has our best interests in mind. Let's just enjoy the ride.

They were way overproduced just like the Legends 2 packs at TRU and will likely meet the same fate very soon.

In the long run they were a good value but a bad idea

Yeah they are probably finished. While it's a good value for 4 elites for 40$, kids just don't know who the hell the four horsemen are or care. They need to do like a DX or maybe a hart foundation where kids and adults will care enough DX or the Hart Foundation wouldn't be any better for Kids. Other than Triple H DX hasn't been relevant in five years. And as much as I like the Hart Foundation they haven't been a feature in the WWE for alot longer. So while unless it is a set like Cena, Neville, Orton, Kalisto kids aren't going to care. And if it is a set like that then collectors aren't going to care. Once again it is over produced. I have three Targets and all three stores at one point or another had 30+ of the Horsemen set. The one store I purchased at least 4 sets for still has over 19 in stock. Here are my three closest stores inventory... Monroe NY - 20 Spring Valley NY - 8 Clarkstown NY - 9

I bought the Horsemen set when it went on sale for $15. That's less than the price of a single Elite figure. And yet, my Target is still filthy with them.

I think they overproduced the Horsemen set. They are still getting them in for Gods sake. They over estimated the demand for them. I bought 2 sets as Im sure a lot of collectors bought them. They are awesome sets and would love to see them continue but there just isnt enough hardcore collectors who will buy them. Also, we believe it is a good value (and it is) but parents arent just going to buy 50.00 toys for the kids on a consistent basis. I opened a new case yesterday at a Target, and it was more horsemen on top of the 15 that were on the shelf. The production and distribution of these sets sucks. I like the lineups chosen but I think what will hurt this line is the over saturation of it. I hope they continue with a DX or nWo pack but I cant see it and if they do I wont see it in stores until 2018 when the Horsemen finally sell.

I like 1 packs. But i'm a cherry picker collector. Hate buying 2 or more to get the 1 figure I want. 2 packs would be sweet for tag teams.

Unfortunately probably won't last long, the horsemen pack is like $35 on ebay and amazon. Granted, I think the pack can sell but kids aren't interested in the horsemen and guys from that era. I'd like to see the 4 packs change into like a superstar 4 pack, 4 different attires of the same guy. Or like factions/stables like nwo or dx. Or attitude era pack, wcw pack, etc. Problem is anyone who can sell great on their own will be released as a single. So its only like repacks and guys of less demand that will end up in the packs.

Luckily with the Horsemen and Heenan I wanted 3/4 so selling off 1 wasn't a big deal. I think 2 packs would be better BUT I ain't complaining. I'm glad we got these, at more than fair prices too.

I thought my store was going to have the Heenans today. Instead, I got three more Horseman sets. I'm back up to six Horseman sets and the other stores in my area also have a lot of them.

what ever would be best for business. make a set that people want to actually buy. the horsemen I'm surprised they made so many of them in comparison to the single HOF. may they should be a RSE instead of target. these are for collectors, TNF sets are meant to be opened.
