well I’ve had the majority of this month off, so it’s time to start on the 2020 goals early and start taking the gym (more) seriously. stricter with regiment and diet, and going from intermediate to advanced lift numbers
fellow wfers, what are your fitness goals for 2020?

Let me just say I've had way to much fudge, candy, flavored pop corn, green chile jalapano corn bread and cheesecake. However, it hasn't done to much damage to my body. I plan on burning out all those extra calories and sweets in quick rush. I am going to try to jog for 3 miles, and go on atleast 6 mile walk. And repeat this routine for next few days for New Years Eve. So getting little bit of the bubbly won't be a concern at all.
I think this year, I wanna continue living healthy. But not depriving myself. Eat smart and healthy but get creative with it. And eating healthy really isn't that hard, most junk food has alternatives. I mean even for chocolate, I am like the anti Christ for this but I eat 99% pure Dark Chocolate with no added or fake sugar and what not.
Personally I wanna still lean down just little bit more. Just make my stomach perfectly tapered, no need for 6 pack. Still maintain good size. I was able to close out the year at 198 so 7 pounds of where I started. But, with more hydration and growing in height and putting on more leaner mass has put me in a very good place. I wouldn't mind putting on some more lean bulk though. I think I just wanna keep doing what I am doing and roll with it and see where my bodygoes with it. If they're is any form of goal, I just want my body to look really good if I go back to wrestling school on the side.

Has anyone here tried DDPY? My wife had our baby 3 months ago and is ready to get back into pre-baby shape and this came up.

Weigh 224lbs now. Use to weigh over 300lbs. It's definitely something you chip away at. Like Clint Eastwood in Escape from Alcatraz:

hack squatting 360 for 10 reps. for a guy with a ruptured l5s1, I never thought I’d be moving that kind of weight. definitely don’t have that skip leg day issue others have. if only the upper body would catch up now..

had a killer back session today. some days it’s hard to see progress but I forget that progress in the mirror isn’t what this is about, it’s the road of commitment to health and longevity.

had my buddy down to do a leg workout along with me during one of my sessions with my personal trainer. we went heavy, was a great workout. that was yesterday
today I got a new dumbbell chest press PR, nothing impressive, 75lbx8, but for a guy with bad shoulders I’m pumped!
next leg day I’m going to go for a new PR of 400lb x 4 for the hack squat.

Let me just introduce myself to this forum. My name is Austin, I turn 16 in 9 days. I'm 5'10" or 5'11", I'm 175lbs. I've been working out on and off my whole life. Today in the gym I just felt sluggish. Normally I play basketball for cardio because I hate treadmills. But I just couldn't do it. I never could run much because of lung problems and a knee injury. I hardly made it through what is normally a light bicep workout (60lbs, 10 reps, 3 sets). Just felt short of breath and tired. My conclusion is, a three day break has my system all out of wack.

Welcome man. You got crazy good size for your age. I was around that size when I first turned 17. The best way to try to improve your running is try to use distance tracker, and try to up it slowly over time. But, if you just use cardio just to lean your mass out. I'd just take long walks if your knee can hold through it.

Thanks man, I was always one of the smaller kids until about 9 months ago. I have stopped running all together because of the knee impact. I started using cardio bikes. My lungs are a bit small for my body's oxygen needs but I'm holding together good. I started at 15 minutes because that's how long an average wrestling match would be. I'm an aspiring pro wrestler, actually got some training last year.

Forced myself to workout again for the first time in like over 3 months. Really hate the feeling of falling off but it happened.
