I'm so f*ckin' fed up with the fact that all the sh*t I just laid down f*ckin' up and disappeared on me - no email backup or nothing. Just wiped the f*ck out. At this point I'm poised to just write Brennan stepping out in front of a f*ckin bus in the middle of the freeway and calling it a f*ckin night.

Former World champ, everybody. I'm probably pulling back the curtain here, but it really makes me smile that almost 3 years after the fact, our worked angle is still catching people. Drakz and I are masters of this stuff. And our double return angle deliberately blurred lines in character and did things that no one had seen before, like this match. We announced a match a PPV before it was going to happen, knowing full well neither of us were ready for that match, to start the hype train for the match at the next PPV. |

I've decided not to turn in my RP.
I don't want to post something I'm not proud of. That being said I do really like where I'm going with this as a writer. So from an RPers standpoint I've decided I'm still going to post it when it's done. But I'll still take the loss.

So Shawn didn't pay his electric bill, and is two days into recovering from a nasty little concussion. I'll have the match eventually. I've barely even been on anything the last few days.

Concussions are nothing to  around with. Protect your brain. If it's not your first, I'd suggest reading up on concussions and post concussion syndrome. And I highly recommend the Chris Nowenski documentary Head Games not just to you, but to anyone interested in the more "back end" of wrestling. The sacrifice and damage that goes into it |

So, over these past couple days, if all but decided I was gonna scrap Brennan (again) and throw in the towel on this whole angle I've been writing. I've over convoluted it to the point I almost felt I couldn't back out of it, and I'd gone as far as PMing Drakz and Rated R and tried pawning off my Superbrawl spot so I could make a quiet exit. bad guy™ will gladly tell you that I can sometimes be the most abrasive person here, and he isn't altogether wrong. Sometimes, the most abrasive of us need a little taste of our own medicine to get the right kick in the ass we need, and that's where I've been lately. I've had a twice sick kid, I'm fighting with my oldest and best friend, I've quit my number one vice (soda, not booze, you Neanderthals) and my mental state has been at a point where the last thing I gave a f*ck about was some boozehound's journey towards ambiguity. That said - I got the best advice I've ever gotten in 15+ years of rp'ing. Drakz could have just as soon accepted my bow out and told me to do me, but instead, he gave me the best possible direction ever: "Don't be a bitch" I've written some right drizzling sh*ts lately, but almost immediately after conceding that I wouldn't, I mapped out an rp that should effectively right the ship, so to speak, and I'm really excited to get going on it. Long story short - we've got a real motivator on our hands, and you guys are stuck with me for a bit longer. Onward to SB. |
