As is usually the case with the guy cornering himself with a bowl of Doritos to try and cope with his crippling social anxiety, yes. Original or Cool Ranch? Yes. (I don't typically waste daily calories on Doritos if I can avoid it anymore. I also don't go to parties.)

Yes. (I don't typically waste daily calories on Doritos if I can avoid it anymore. I also don't go to parties.) Yeah, me either. Mostly because I'm trying to be healthier and I hate people. I've combined the two into a fine art: the preferred cardio activity in my household is a few rounds on a Dance Dance Revolution machine, because I can't be bothered with the hassle of going to the gym, and my wife and I are giant f*cking nerds. It's also a pain in the ass to get out to the arcade during those long New England winters, and pumping tokens into the machine several times a week per round adds up rather quickly. So I bought the machine.

The fact you own that machine is f*cking mind blowing to me. Dare I ask how much it was?

The fact you own that machine is f*cking mind blowing to me. Dare I ask how much it was? Without listing a specific number? Perfectly reasonable. The price of these things is easily one of the best laid examples of supply and demand, in that what you might pay for one in one part of the country would be entirely unreasonable in another part. California and the west coast in general typically see a lower aftermarket price point, given their coastal proximity to Japan and the larger number of machines floating around. Not counting privately owned cabinets, there are 3 machines publicly available on a year-round (non-seasonal) basis in my entire state. The price is, naturally, a bit higher this way, but at the end of it all, for the system running and the overall quality of the machine, I didn't pay that much more than you might for a good, solid piece of home exercise equipment.

I have a Tekkan Tag Tournament cabinet in my spare bedroom, and I can't even validate it as a means to exercise.

I'm tempted to offer you money to write a scene with David Brennan playing Dance Dance Revolution.

Indeed I do as you'll see by the extremely entertaining segments (my opinions may not reflect that of the general public) I've written for the show.

If I ever wind up running this joint (HA!), you can all count on me to blame any card/result related delays on the preposterous notion that I hired Flaps to help me out with that particular show/cared/segment.
Results will be up in April guys, I swear.

If I ever wind up running this joint (HA!), you can all count on me to blame any card/result related delays on the preposterous notion that I hired Flaps to help me out with that particular show/cared/segment. Results will be up in April guys, I swear. Flaps? Flaps is a former owner of WFWF, like Drakz and Demon are now. He ran the place maybe...12 years ago? He occasionally pops up for a one off. He's a good guy all things considered, but he has the time management of a missed period. When results are late you'll see a Flaps joke because once he did a Halloween show (which I've since taken over) and didn't post the results until in April. He also gets a bad rap for his booking decisions. But all owners do at some point. Here's a case and point example. Flaps/Z Master, both held the title. Kyzer/Drakz, both held the title during their ownership. Rev/CBT, Rev held the title during the ownership. Yukio/Scarlett, Yukio tried getting the title every other week. E/Al/Thunder, all three held the title under their reign. Thunder/Trace, Trace was champ. Me/E, E was champ. Me/Trace, we were both champ. Trace/Drakz, Drakz has had less days not as champ than with it. I left out the ownership juggle of 2012 because I couldn't keep a partner after EBR until Trace agreed to step up. Hutton had life issues, Ace lost interest and Cross was unreliable. I was changing partners like diapers. Flaps started the trend. It's one we've all acknowledged is bad, but there's little one can do when the best writer runs the place. Now mind you, Drakz, E, Kyzer, Thunder, Rev, Al, Trace, ZMaster and myself are ALL top tier writers (or in my case was in my heyday) who all deserved the title. Flaps was a solid writer but he inserted himself where he didn't belong and just got lucky. I tried rectifying that as owner after E left, but then Trace went on a tear right before becoming owner and I caught up to him at the last possible second, thus nullifying my point a bit.

There's plenty that can be done about that (not that it's as big an "issue"as it is just something that happens), but you'll find less people willing to place their character on hold during their ownership tenures than aren't, is all.

E/Al/Thunder, all three held the title under their reign. I was champion before I was owner, and Al didn't hold the belt. ... I at least want credit for writing that he was undeserving and an embarrassment as champion. Dusty Rhodes syndrome. the man with the pencil knows who he can write in the top spot Honestly? Pretty much. I had no intention of ever being in the title scene (which the archives will show, because my character was borderline irrelevant for the first five months) but people either didn't step up or did but than left. Things would have been different if you just returned like four weeks earlier or Kronic never left.
