#1 Elites only, #2 I'm not a MOC collector BUT if I get a good deal on older/early elites, then I'll keep em MOC,(E17 Mankind, E9 Orton, L1 SCSA, almost a shame to open them) #3 I'll buy multiple of the same character if the attires catch my attention, Last but not least, #4 I'm paid bi-weekly, I try to get at most, 2-3 figs, but the past month and a half, I've been being about 4 to 5 figs depending on who I see at the time.

Only rule I need: if I like it. I'll buy it Ok but are there particular things you like and don't like. It's not like I get punished if i break my own rule. Its just my natural preferences. This goes out to everyone who said I buy what I like.

I only collect elites from wcw/wwf pre-2000. I get the attire that in my own mind is most iconic and I'll keep that moc. Then I buy that same wrestlers alternate ego/gimmick/attire to have loose for my sons toys. The exception is the macho man. I will have an moc of every elite release.

Only rule I need: if I like it. I'll buy it Blam. Personal preferences: Wrestlers I liked/like from moments/attires I like. Basic or Elite, mostly elite. I can afford it.

They're loose guidelines.. but I collect one of each character... and I don't HAVE to update from my Jakks versions, although that is the long term goal.

I normally try to get a basic and an elite of every wrestler. I also try to collect only figures I would use in my fed. So I only have a few older guys and they are moc.

This is all I follow: Rule #1 - Buy what I like, with my own decisions. Rule #2 - See Rule #1. This.

My rules are simple. #1 Buy what you want,
#2 Bills come first unless its rare, or If I feel I'll never see one again.
#3 Basics only for Divas or Elite conventions.
#4 NXT comes first, Main Roster second. ECW over rides all.

Do you set any rules or guidelines for how you buy figures? How do you decide your budget? Here's what I do. 1. Elites Only 2. I don't buy more than one of a character no matter how many new versions / attires come out. I don't need more than one of any wrestler on my shelf 3. I might make exception for the above rule in one the following cases 1. Complete character change (example Cody Rhodes and Stardust, although I haven't gotten a stardust yet) (I won't buy a Razor because I have a Scott Hall) 2. Big change and rare accessories (example if I get Xavire and Kofi and they put out a really good New Day Big E with 1 or 2 Tag titles I would sell my old Big E and get the new one) 4. I open my boxes. I buy them to pose them and look at them not because they might be worth money some day. I do keep the boxes in case I do get rid of them so the new owner can have everything 5. Won't pay more than 10 over retail for any figure. Very unlikely I'd pay more than retail for a loose figure 6. Try and keep it to 1-2 figures a month unless I get a bundle at the flea market No judgement on what you do this is just what works for me. Basically, it comes down to Five Questions in this order. 1) Is it someone I am a big mark for or loved as a kid? Is it Rollins? Sting? Paige? Is it Owens? Zayn? Nash? Hall? Stacy Keibler (COME ON MATTEL MAKE ONE)? If yes, Question 2. 2) If yes to 1, is there possibility that I can go to a convention and get it signed? If so, I go to Question 4. If the person is deceased or the likelihood of doing conventions is low, I'll move to Question 3. 3) If yes to 1 but no to 2, do I have any other memorabilia of his/hers? If yes, I won't buy it. 4) If yes to 1 and 2, do I already have a good figure of that person that can be signed or is signed? If yes, I won't buy it. So for instance, I have Daniel Bryan's Wrestlemania XXX BAF Elite signed. Nothing else of his is more iconic in my opinion. I won't be getting another. Same goes for Paige's first elite with both NXT Woman's and Diva's Titles. If I don't have a good figure, I will buy it. 5) Is it Sting? If so, buy all the Elite Stings (and that one basic that shows him in his Crow attire).

I typically only buy figures of current wrestlers that I like. If a figure is first released in Basic form but has a possible Elite on the way, I will wait on the Basic and buy the Elite instead. It's all about patience with some of them, though others it doesn't matter. I missed Basic Neville so I'm just going to wait for Elite release now. I have Tyler Breeze as a Basic but would also buy him as an Elite. And then someone like Rusev I bought in the two pack with Lana and didn't care about his singles Basic or Elite because I didn't want Rusev without Lana. A lot of it is how much I care about a wrestler as well. I'll buy most all Finn Balor figures, and though I don't like Sami Zayn I'll get his Elite just for the NXT Championship. Usually one is enough for me though.

1. Only wrestlers that i like. 2. Elites are the priority, basics just for Divas. 3. 1 or 2 a month, not because i can't afford them, but because i want this to be a hobby and nothing more.

1. Only elites 2. Try not to splurge, and think about do I really want that figure 3. Do I actually have room for it? 4. If I'm paying over $35 or so, I'll usually sell something I don't care about anymore to help

I just see what I like (mostly Elites) and if I have money I'll buy it but I haven't bought a figure since Elite 37 Miz and Seth I think, I've just been buying other stuff and that. I've missed so many figures and I need to catch up. I'll buy multiples and If I love the attire and figure I'll buy, I don't have a problem with basics. I don't buy many flashbacks only the ones I really like, I won't get Lita, 123 Kid and Funk but Umaga is a must have for me.

40 bucks is the most I've spent on a figure. I'm trying to get one of each character so if I'm not a big fan I'll just buy the basic.
