My rules are pretty simple: 1. Elites only 2. Only one of each wrestler I buy. The exception is if a newer waaay better version comes out (i.e. e39 Bulldog is an upgrade from Legends Bulldog). Different time periods Legends Bulldog is perfect for an attitude era Hart Foundation

Different time periods Legends Bulldog is perfect for an attitude era Hart Foundation I was gonna comment on that, too. They're two different Bulldogs. Each perfectly represents the time period they were shooting FOR. I think they're both great, and I will get the Legends one someday.

This is all I follow: Rule #1 - Buy what I like, with my own decisions. Rule #2 - See Rule #1. Pretty much ... I really don't even see why this topic was created ? I mean, it seems like a pretty simple concept to me ... just buy what you want/like ? No need to be OCD about it lol

Yeah that's a better word E39 is definitely more iconic, and I overall like it a lot more. But Legends Bulldog is also perfect for what Mattel was going for.

Only rules I follow is I buy one of each character, unless I want the wrestler in a specific character (ex/ buying the first Sting exclusive, but also buying Sting's surfer days attire). Also, I only buy elites.

What the hell? This is a hobby, not boot camp. I don't set any rules for obvious reasons. I didn't take it to mean that. You don't have any preferences in your purchases? I'm not trying to instigate, just asking. EXACTLY! guess I should of worded it differently

Get what you can afford. Save money back for the things you want. I didn't do that and now I really can't afford the Ultimate Final Fantasy XV collector's edition. Be sad about missed opportunities, but be grateful for what you have... Kids in Africa don't get clean water, any education, and will countinue to live in deep poverty.

1. Elites when you can. Certain basics are kosher as placeholders (Mankind is a placeholder until I pick up E17) 2. Duplicates are acceptable if they represent a different era or attire (1990 Undertaker vs. Ministry and ABA Takers) 3. Mainly Flashbacks unless I'm personally a fan of a current guy (Dean Ambrose, New Day, anyone from NXT) 4. Never pay more than Ringside prices. RSC is the highest price I'll pay because I don't want to give scalpers my business

The past few years it was: Does it say WWE Mattel on the package?
Now it's, don't spend past your budget and get what you feel like. I doubt I'll buy every version of some guys like I used to. I was a Dolph Ziggler collector. But let's face it, Basic 54 is a far better figure than basic 50. Ziggler had only about half of his overall releases be actually worth it or different enough to warrant a purchase. No R-Truth with the first smiling scan is worth buying again. If I wouldn't buy it twice to replace it, it probably wasn't worth having the first and I just need to slow down and evaluate.

#1 - never talk about Fight Club (Come on, someone had to)
Okay here are mine.
#1 - only get those figures u like, not the whole set
#2 - try to avoid basics (this is getting hard though)
#3 - see rule one, don't go down the completest path again
#4 - if and when we get a super high end line from hot toys for WWE (sell ur Mattel collection)
#5 - nothing is ever really that hard to get, just costs more and money is only money.

Apart from Austin,Taker,Rock,Triple H and Michaels I have a 'one of each guy' rule
When I get the three members of New Day in elite form for example, I will sell my previous singles versions of them. I have the three members of The Shield, so I won't get them in their singles attire.
Gimmick/name change is OK if they're completely different. (123 Kid/X-pac, Stardust/Cody Rhodes, JBL/Bradshaw, Mankind/Cactus Jack Godfather/Papa Shango.
I have strongly been considering selling everybody who debuted after 2001. We'll see.

My rules:
1. Elites only, unless I can justify a good reason for buying the basic (eg. A character that won't be released as an elite, a unique attire, one of my favourite wrestlers, etc.)
2. No repeats of a wrestler unless there is a good reason to buy one (Drastic attire change, or favourite wrestler)
3. Buy all Edge figures released
4. Follow rules 1-3 and buy figures!
