Phillies stole Wilson Ramos from TB. PTBNL or cash considerations. Ramos is batting .297 with 14 HRs, 53 RBIs. Phillies catcher corps have collectively bat .244 with just 10 HRs. I’m surprised the Rays let him go for what little we gave them back, especially for an All-Star. Missing out on Machado sucks, but I’m happy with the moves they made. Now if they could just end their losing streak that would be nice. Real nice. Damn on-again/off-again offense.

Must've been some great pitching to keep Boston down for 3 runs in 22 innings. I was hoping Philly would split the series, so good job on that. Not good job on Hererra for blowing that play last night. Might've won the game 1-0 instead.

I was rooting for Washington to set a record. They let up in the 6th and 7th. Then Jose Reyes came in to pitch and all hell broke loose again.

Overall a good win for the Phillies last night. Glad to beat the best team in the entire league for it.

Wow I can’t believe the Phils actually beat the Red Sox. Great to get any road in win in general, let alone against the best team in baseball with the way they’ve struggled to win away from home.

Sonny Gray sucks. They really should have traded him. I have no idea how the Yankees can continue to allow this to happen with him. He had a couple of ok starts against some really bad teams, but he's back up to his old tricks again today. Erasing the game the Yankees picked up yesterday with a win/Boston Loss.
This is why the Yankees have ZERO shot at winning the Division, because Sonny Gray is usually an automatic loss, and along with Severino being burned out, the rest of the guys who ARE pitching well are entitled to a bad one every now and again...it's just too many losses along with the fact that the Red Sox hardly ever lose.
*edit* and this game right here probably just cost us the Division for sure.
Sonny Gray not only gets POUNDED, but Boone takes him out in the 3rd and it IMMEDIATELY rain delays, so now if the rain lasts so long that Lance Lynn can't come back out, you have to absolutely OBLITERATE the bullpen the day before you start a 4 game series in Fenway against the Red Sox, who are sitting pretty with the DAY OFF today.
Thanks, Sonny.

Bats need to pick up too. People forget we have the second best record in Baseball. Red Sox are just on a run. They’ll cool down. Not every trade works out, we’ve seen that with Sonny. However, I still have faith we’ll take back what is ours. He knows he’s been doing bad. He’s also hard on himself about it. Just can’t give up on him. That’s why Yankee fans have bad reps.

I'm shocked that the Pirates gave up so much for a glorified middle rotation starter in Chris Archer. Listen Archer is good and he didn't get a lot of run support in Tampa Bay. I just don't see Archer any better than 2nd Starter at best. I think that the Pirates gave up a lot for him. Glasnow is a very good pitcher who in a few years can develop into a really good pitcher. He does walk a lot of batters but he can develop and he will get a decent amount of time in the Majors this year and Next. Austin Meadows is going to be a stud. I know that Archer has a couple years on his contract It's really hard to tell if the Pirates are all in or if they are still rebuilding. I don't know if they have enough to make it to the playoffs this year but I think with One or Two good signings in the off season they can make a huge run at the NL Central in 2019 (Maybe they can sign Harper or Machado, I doubt it but that would be cool)

Yanks are toast.
Severino is clearly fatigued due to the heavy workload over the last year and a half. He should probably be shut down so they don't damage him for next year.
