Same here lmao. My team will be lucky to finish .500. Went from 15 games above to only 3. We don’t really have a chance at the playoffs anymore so I’m just praying for 81 wins lol It sickens me. They had such a good summer, and it all fell apart. Quite literally. On their way to a division crown, and a home-field advantage playoff series. Now they're not only NOT winning the division, but they won't even get a WC and miss out. For the 7th straight year. I laugh at the fact that people still think they’ll come back and win the division. They’ll be lucky to finish in 2nd place.

Phillies overachieved for the longest time. Things are evening out now. Going .500 would've been a successful season from the start.

They were playing really good baseball for a period of time and they fell right back to their old ways. There’s so much talent on this team, I can’t stand seeing Gabe Kapler continually mismanage them and make boneheaded decisions. Would have been cool to have the Eagles, Sixers, and Phillies all make the playoffs after missing them for the past few years.

Yankees set a major league record with 12 player to hit at least 10 home runs. They've also tied the franchise record of 245 in a season. Doubt they will be able to catch Seattle's all-time record with 7 road games to end the year with the way they've been hitting on the road and in general lately.

Carlos Santana and JP Crawford need to be traded to Tampa Bay For who? A salary dump for minor leaguers. Those are the 2 guys they need to get rid of if they want to sign Manny Machado.

Dude’s level of play is nowhere near worth what we’re paying him. If we can’t get Machado we better get Harper. One of the two is going to be a Yankee so I hope we get whichever one isn’t.

Legitimately would be shocked if they don't get Machado. Don't really want Harper, tbh. No reason to overpay him when Trout is going to be coming, imo. Trout's dad is even supposedly telling people he wants to come to Philly. I'm still holding out hope for Crawford. I think he just needs more time to adjust to the majors. Plus, I'd rather have Machado at third anyway.

its pretty silly to bitch and moan about "cheap" home runs in Yankee stadium due to the short porch....when your stadium has a giant wall in left field, a weird triangle/corner thing in center field both of which turn singles into doubles and doubles into triples....and a 2ft high wall in right that is easier to hit over than most parks
seriously red sox fans are THE WORST. say what you want about the yankees...but red sox are winning the division and won over 100 games yet they're gonna complain that the yankees got a couple of "cheap" home runs last night? pathetic.

I’m a Sox fan but I never said anything about cheap homeruns. In fact, I listen to Boston sports radio a lot since I drive for a living and I don’t hear anyone excusing homeruns as cheap.. But I’ll bet someone has said that, and now all fans are generalized as having that view..

By now everybody should know I am not a fan of dragging a team's entire fan base through the mud because of one or two fringe morons.

Proud of the Braves for making the postseason. A .500 record would've been a success for them at the beginning of the year.
They are a fun team to watch, and I watched more baseball this year than probably in a decade maybe longer.
Their bullpen is awful at best so I expect them to go out in the 1st round, but we will see.

Aaron Judge’s first HR since coming off the DL is the Yanks MLB record tying 264th of the year. They have two games left to set a new record now.

More home run history. Gleyber Torres hits the record breaking 265th HR of the season, as well as the Yankees’ 20th HR out of the 9th spot in the order. That makes them the first team to ever have every spot in the batting order produce at least 20 home runs in a season.
They’re also tied for the record of players having multi-HR games with 24, maybe Gleyber can hit another one to break that record.

Anybody can hit .300/20 HRs/100 RBIs playing for the Yankees

Chris Davis wont be playing the final weekend of the season, so he finishes with .168/16 HRs/49 RBIs and a 1 for 37 slump while getting paid $23 million. Yikes.
