They're not sweeping any series lol. I wish, but it won't happen. It'll be a thrill just to beat Boston. Don't sleep on Oakland tho, Wednesday will not be easy.

As much as Id like to see it happen, the Yankees couldnt sweep the kitchen little less a series. I still have hopes one day for a Yankees-Cubs World Series

Not to the point they would sweep three straight series. u must be new to the MLB threads... he does this every year. at least since ive been on here. he predicts the Yankees sweeping the playoffs/WS over every team. and it works because they've only won 1 world series since ive been on this board. im still waiting for his predictions to come true. I was slightly confused because I thought he was a Phillies or Red Sox fan, but I didn't feel like looking at earlier posts to see for sure. |

Hopefully we get "good Severino" tonight. If I was managing, I probably would have gone with JA Happ, but I think Aaron Boone is getting too ahead of himself and trying to set up for the ALDS not realizing he's gotta get through tonight. I get that Happ has better numbers against the Red Sox, and MUCH better numbers in Fenway than Severino, so Boone wants Happ to match up in Game 1 in Fenway against Sale....
Buuuut if we get "Bad Severino" tonight, it's not going to matter because when he's off, he's target practice. Even when Happ is off, he seems to bend but not break and at least limit the damage.
Either way, WHOEVER was going to start tonight was going to do so with an extremely short leash.
It would also be nice if the Yankees could put big runs on the board....but Postseason games are not easy, so we'll see what happens.
