The sign originally said " When it Reigns, it bores". The sign was edited on wwe.com to simply say " When it Reigns" with an obvious empty space. Thought this was interesting.

I never seen WWE put so much effort into 1 guy that the fans just hate.

95% of his hate is unwarranted. IMO.

95% of his hate is unwarranted. IMO. Unwarranted? The fans don't want him as the number 1 guy. Plain and simple.

What a rude time to hold up a sign. Someone missed the best moment of the night.

95% of his hate is unwarranted. IMO. I agree, some go overboard with the hate.

I never seen WWE put so much effort into 1 guy that the fans just hate. The WWE Universe doesn't hate Roman. They are just booing him because it's fun. That's what Jerry Lawler is told to say says. Which is weird, because why would you tell your audience it's fun to do something you don't want them to do? Reverse psychology?

95% of his hate is unwarranted. IMO. What gives you that impression? He's boring in the ring, even worse at the mic and doesn't have a single quality about him that fans can relate to. I'd say that just about justifies it.

95% of his hate is unwarranted. IMO. I would agree, although I am enjoying it for some reason. I think people would have been more accepting of Roman as the top guy if WWE didn't try to make him another 'Cena'. I feel the people wanted someone new, but 'tonight playing the role of John Cena is Roman Reigns', is not new and they didn't fall for it.

Who cares? Like.. I don't care about people hating on Roman. But.. this doesn't matter.

The fans? A greater portion of the smart mark crowd - yes. They don't want him as the number one guy. But WHO do they want? Aside from the fact that that portion of the crowd often forgets that one is one. Not more than one. There is only room for ONE top guy and no matter who it is, a lot of those same mouths will spew the same BS hatred on them as they do Reigns. His promo work and his ring work can be debated until the cows come home, but it is still a subjective matter. I'm not a fan of his promos but I laugh at people who say he's terrible in the ring, because he isn't. His timing is exceptional, his moves are crisp and he sells intensity. He will only get better over time. And to the people who say "all his good matches is when he's with someone who can carry him" well the same can be said about John Cena and numerous other wrestlers over the course of history. I just get tired of the constant bitching. The guy can never do anything to please certain fans. Besides, WWE has him in this spot. What's he supposed to say? NO? that. He'll take the top spot with an arena full of boos just as any other wrestler in any organization would. Bottom line is, if you hate Reigns, you might as well get used to him being the top guy and accept it. That, or, take a break from watching. Re-charge your batteries. Do something else for the love of God. In case you haven't noticed, there was no #cancelwwenetwork trending after the record setting WrestleMania 32. Nothing after Payback nor anything in between the two shows. That all came from Daniel Bryan not being in and winning the Rumble and all that. It had nothing to do with Reigns. With crowds hi-jacking shows(or trying to) and the amount of ass showing on social media when it comes to Reigns, I don't blame WWE for sticking with who THEY want. The fans are as wishy-washy as they've ever been, so why try to cater to a certain portion of the crowd who turns on people without notice, chants disrespectful things at women, and whatever else they do? I respect WWE for sticking to their guns. Is Reigns my favorite? No. But I'm fine with where they've got him. It's nice to see someone other than Cena, imo. Now I'm sure you guys will have a qoutefest with me telling me how I'm wrong and I'm an idiot and WWE doesn't listen to their fans blah blah blah. Maybe not. It doesn't really matter to me. I just don't get how some of you despise the current product and all the booking and top guy choices but you have no problem getting on the internet daily and expressing your views which shows that you still watch! If you're truly that miserable, why put yourself through it? If you want to show WWE Reigns isn't the guy, stop watching. They don't care how much you bitch and moan just as long as you're watching. Just some food for thought. But misery does love company. Especially on the internet.

Some of you need to remember, most of us don't hate Reigns, we hate his booking. There is a fraction of a percent of us that know the names of any of the writers, much less who is behind this abortion. And chanting Vince Sucks doesn't work as he clearly stated last night he doesn't care.

I don't like Reigns that much, but he doesn't bother me. I can see why some hate him and why some like him. But it is what it is, I don't really seeing it change any time soon. I just sit back and watch and what happens, happens.

Just some food for thought. But misery does love company. Especially on the internet. Again, most of us don't hate Reigns, we hate his booking. His character sucks and they continue to go about things the same, expecting a different result. That is moronic and insane. The one thing I have seen Russo write in recent history that has made any sense is the reason he believes Reigns is being booed. His reason is that Vince refuses to adapt and believes everybody should be the whitebread babyface from the 1970's (i.e. Bruno and Backlund). He even said that while figuring out what to do with Rock after Deadly Games, McMahon was pitching that Rock go out their and act like Bruno, while Rock is looking at Russo like "is he being serious?" And for some of us, it is also a long term investment. What happens when WWE buys up every company and the majority of fans still aren't satisfied? Ratings are the lowest they've been since 1997, neither the IWC or a significant chunk of the casuals are enjoying the product, which has intern led to this decline. Who could be else could be the top guy right now? Owens (heel), Ambrose, Balor, or Zayn. Even Reigns, if they stopped trying to keep him still almost entirely morally sound. Sure, they are having him say he isn't a good guy yadda yadda yadda, but what is he doing that is making the statement correct, saying it? Remember how the ratings going up .5 points after TLC? His character calls for moral ambiguity.

I'd say that just about justifies it. On top of that, Vince Russo of all people had a great point last night with Sean & Raj during their Payback review, in "speaking from the casual fan's point of view" (one of his new favorite phrases, since he isn't a die-hard mark or so he claims). Nevertheless, as noted, I did concur with his notion that there are merely far too many killer maneuvers being done in basically EVERY match on EVERY ppv where they should be the finish(ing blow). Hell, even SCSA often makes mention of this, and many of us see it for ourselves in the first place, thus the true validity lies in the eyes of the beholders. My point is that after some spectacular spots, Reigns just spears for the 1-2-3 every friggin' time it seems. It just gets old. There are certainly better ways to book him, overboard fan hatred notwithstanding.
