I thought I'd make a seperate thread for this since it's pretty big.
As you might have seen, a match between Will Ospreay and Ricochet from New Japan's BOSJ tournament recently went viral. The buzz around the match was so big, that New Japan uploaded the match to their YouTube channel for free for a limited time only, and you can check it out right here.
really intense match with some fresh spots and moves. not only that, but it told a story. the established ricochet against the newest british talent to rise to the top and has something to prove. really enjoyed that. i need to invest more time in njpw.

I've seen a lot of my non-wrestling fan friends share the clip of this on social media, and that says alot about this match. Glad to see it in its entirety.
It's easy to put this match down as it's obviously choreographed, but isn't all of wrestling choreographed to an extent?
I thought it was a highly entertaining match. And when I realized it wasn't even for the title, I was surprised. Both Ricochet and Ospreay have very bright futures, seeing as they can stay healthy, as this style of wrestling poses a great risk of injury.
Fantastic match. The reverse frankensteiner from the apron was ungodly.
Can't say I'm a fan of all of the cussing, you can trash talk in the ring with out "Motherer" every little bit...but fantastic.
Also, the Northern Lights Driver to Front Suplex is a thing of beauty.

Guys, it's Japan. They love when Gaijin say in Japan lol.
And who ing cares if it's "choreographed" or not? All of wrestling is somewhat "choreographed", the WWE is known for it. Savage and Steamboat did it, Hell Savage did it for most of his career but nobody's talking down on him for it.
Sorry for the mini rant but the match is ing amazing and deserves all of the credit, attention, praise and hype that it is getting.
Ricochet and Ospreay are going to be stars and years from now people will be looking back on their matches here and at WrestleCon as the beginning of their rise.
I was on the fence about subscribing to NJPW World, but this match has me sold.
I can understand the whole "gymnastics routine" argument, but the match had a consistent flow and they still beat the crap out of each other. And it was awesome to see the crowd so invested in the match.
i love this match. Maybe not my favorite wrestling style but that type of match always has its place in the card. I was surprised that Jimmy Cornette did not trashed this match, Stone Cold and Dave Meltzer loved it aswell but Vader obviously didn't but i respect vader's opinion and everyone who did not liked it.
