The new Elite Legends Line is intriguing. I'm not a fan of reissues, but if it gets me Magnum TA and some other legends I'm good with that. I'm also good with saving a few bucks every now and then. Jericho, I'm hoping against hope that it's a WCW or Undisputed Champ. Bring it, Bill!
No Koko sucks. He's not a must-own figure for me though. I didn't even get his LJN back in the day. I just can't get excited about the Ultimate Maniacs. I haven't examined Warrior, but he looks like nothing more than a repaint of E26. I'd rather get Elites of his WrestleMania or SummerSlam attires that haven't been released. And a new head sculpt. I will get Big E, Braun, Sasha and Tugboat. Still holding out hope that Tugboat has a cloth shirt and pants that remove to reveal a Typhoon singlet. #HeelTurn
I do wish that New Day came in their predominantly pink attire. I guess I'll buy those in 2017.
Also getting evil Emma. Hopefully she doesn't have stretch marks on her legs.

Number of People claiming they need Magnum T.A. = 147 Number of People who have actually watched a Magnum T.A. match other than PJ and Bandalero= 0 I watched both NWA and WWF in the 80s. Magnum vs Nikita Koloff best of seven series is classic as well as Magnum vs Tully in the cage. I've been salivating over a Magnum TA figure for years. |

Why exactly are people unhappy about four reissues and a repaint in this set? Did I miss Bill posting somewhere that this is the LAST Undertaker figure they are ever releasing...or the LAST HBK figure ever...or the LAST Warrior figure? Nope, pretty sure he never said that. The four reissues are interesting looking figures and will look great in the new packaging. It makes sense to Mattel's bottom line to release them this way. We finally get the Magnum figure that people have been begging for since its cancellation. Yay? Yeah, it sucks that Koko was canned...but did Bill confirm he was NEVER being made? All I saw was that Koko is not going to be in E44. Nothing about him NEVER being made. I don't understand it either. I guess they feel like wasting precious minutes of their life to complain about something totally pointless. For me, if it doesn't concern or interest me, I don't think twice about it. |

I can't imagine they'd put a trunks Jericho in a legends set. Most likely in tights but whether it's Attitude/earlier or Ruthless is the question True, but look at all the real pics they posted. All are in their figure attires. So if Jericho was going to be a long haired figure in tights wouldn't they at least put a pic of Jericho from that era and not a short haired trunks era? I mean he has been wearing trunks for at least 6 or 7 years now so one of his earlier trunk attires might not be considered modern anymore. I am hoping for long hair, but preparing to be disappointed. |

People are unhappy, because they've been wanting the legends line to come back for years. We get excited because it's finally happening, but turns out most of us already have those figures and we don't need to buy them again. Which then turns to paranoia/upset when the line won't do well at retail and then once again tanks.
This! I am a flashback/legends collector only, and aside from one figure (Tugboat), I'm not that stoked about these lineups. I'm afraid too many will shelf warm, which will send the wrong message about releasing more flashback/legends figures.
I would have liked to see something like this...
L6 Warrior with new head sculpt and yellow IC belt Macho Man with pink or purple star tights and preferably a robe Roddy Piper with long hair from his IC title days Bam Bam repaint from a more recognized era Typhoon Barefoot Snuka (ok, I know I'm dreaming now...)

That desire goes away a lot when that item is once again obtainable. That's why Amazon could barely give away Ministry Undertaker, the Horsemen set rots at half off, and the pegs at a lot of TRU are bending with Spotlight Boss Mans. |

That highlighted part is out of your control, so why worry about it at all? Mattel has shown an interest in getting more legends figures to us at all costs (DM, RSC Exclusives, WalGreens Exclusive, ToysRUs Exclusive). I don't think you have ANYTHING to worry about. |
