We've done better I will admit. This is what annoys me. You've done better, yet still feel it ok to release it? Even though you know it's not good? I second this 1 billion percent!! This is the kind of stuff that really pisses me off. Bill- "Who gives a s--t what the figures look like?! These collectors are nothing but mindless drones who will gobble up whatever we give them. We need straight face, serious scans!!! I don't collect current superstars so I don't care about Lana. But I do agree Mattel makes way too many smiling headscans, particularly with women. Seriously virtually every female head they do is smiling or smirking. It's like they think women can't be tough or angry or something. Was disappointed with the flashback Lita for this reason, smiling does not suit her attitude era character at all. My view has always been that these are supposed to be wrestling figures, and they should have face expressions suited for wrestling poses (i.e. serious or mean), not posing for a photo or whatever. But at least with Lana you guys have the option of using her other scan, switching heads is easy enough. Wish I had the option of a serious or mean head for DDP. |

I think timing may be the cause for them going ahead with the release. If they would have pulled her from this set, a set that included a Ziggler with 'Lana' on his tights, it probably would have several month before they could work her back into another set. Being that the figure is already outdated, pushing it back may have resulted in it's complete cancellation.

I think that head looks much more like Lana than the surfer Sting head looks like Sting, so there's something.

I'm glad they put it out asap, so it doesn't get lost like the Kaitlyn and Summer they were working on but scrapped because "oops, it's not relevant or completely accurate". Unnerving figures of hiccup gimmicks are better to me than none at all imo, I mean it's not a $20 figure were talking about here, it's $10.

Yeah, the Lana and Ziggler scans are the same thing.....neither of them look like a person, though. The closest thing they compare to is the faces of Harry and Marv in Home Alone 2 after they get their noses smushed by the toolbox. They look like muppets with those noses. |

I think it's funny that when a collector on here tries to point out a flaw we get roasted by Mattel fan boys but if a WWE Superstar says something everyone jumps on the bandwagon. I've been pointing out for like 6 months now that quality has been taking a turn for the worse. I don't know how someone can okay some of these decisions. Are we expected to buy anything that's released just because it's WWE and Mattel? |

Please don't take offense while I single you out because I know there are a lot out there and you guys are also contributing to great sales and expanded lines. But warrior is your guy right? Have you ever passed on a Mattel warrior figure because you didn't like it? I think e26 warrior is ugly. I am a macho man guy but I won't settle for basics. I've bought every elite except e23 macho because I don't like it. Sometimes I will buy only one instead of the usual two if I don't like it. For instance I only bought one razor DM and one e36 ddp even though I would've bought two if I liked the headsculpts. Those figures are just toys for my son to beat up and won't be seen a part of my moc collection. |

If anything, Mattel should be upping their game to make sure the little details stop falling through the cracks. I refuse to buy something if it could've been done better but it was released anyways even though it was known that something was off. |
