I hate to keep beating a dead horse, but bill did mention in a video interview he has in the past sent bad head scans back and delayed figure. The fact that did not happen this time is just silly. Lana is very popular female talent, so no excuse. Should have been delayed and everyone would have understood.

Mattel always fumbled a bit when it came to female scans. Bayley comes to mind, who looks more like Mr. Bean with a ponytail.
Then again, female faces have always been an enigma for a lot of figure companies. Look at some of the Marvel Legends of the past like Black Cat or Scarlet Witch. Hasbro's come a long way but still doesn't nail it 100%.

I mess up at my job all the time. I hope we can eventually let this go.

Oh yeah I have, definitely the best female sculpt I've seen in a long time. Some of Toy Biz's stuff was the work of nightmares, so Mattel isn't the worst.

The Hasbro sculpts of the most recent Scarlet Witch & Black Cat have been excellent. As for this figure...it's not great, but oh well. It certainly isn't as big of a deal as some of you have made it out to be. The most vocal critics just sound ridiculous. In the end...these are mass market toys and the overwhelming majority that we get are quite good. If it's that big of a problem to some of you, just don't buy it. End of story.

My mistake, I meant that Hasbro's efforts at the two were leagues better than the Toy Biz versions. Now Hasbro sometimes has some questionable sculpts but they're miles above Toy Biz for the ladies. Sorry for any confusion. I guess my point is it's hard to capture the female facial form in plastic, since sometimes it looks too masculine like Bayley I mentioned earlier. Some look good like Sasha's scan was pretty good and Charlotte is decent, Becky's is great, but Lana here, I'm not too sure.

Lana is terrible. There's no getting around it. Now Bayley...I love her, but I don't think her sculpt is too far off. If you think I'm saying she isn't smoking hot...you'd be right. lol

Have we reached the "Late Stage Jakks" era of Mattel's WWE line up?
It's not even remotely close, obviously.. But they have started having more and more issues over the past two years.
