Picked up the Target Exclusive DVD/BR this morning. It's a little wide, obviously to fit the discs, but I still love the entire presentation. Also, with Season 2 hitting next week, I updated the thread title so we can keep it going.   |

Picked up the Target Exclusive DVD/BR this morning. It's a little wide, obviously to fit the discs, but I still love the entire presentation. Also, with Season 2 hitting next week, I updated the thread title so we can keep it going. Picked this up today too. Hopefully my Target puts out more of the Stranger Things merchandise they are suppose to be getting. I think they are going to have their own section near electronics. |

Seems like the Stranger Things sections are all up now in the back of the DVD section at Target. I haven't seen all of the merch out though. Mostly just the Funko POPs/figures and then the lunch boxes. I know they have wallets, buttons, glasses and some other stuff but I haven't see any of that put out yet.

I would like to see NECA tackle this license. McFarlane has the mid scale license, and they look good so far. I have these two preordered from BB and they are supposed to ship in November sometime. I’d like to see the 4 kids get made in the Ghostbusters outfits in this scale.   |

I can not overstate how much I love Steve.
So, I don't know if I'd say I liked it more than S1, but it definitely delivered.

Have to agree on the Steve sentiments. I think you are meant to position Steve as a total d*ck through the first portion of Season 1, but other than breaking Jonathan's camera, he really acts completely rational in everything he does. I don't think I settled on that idea until I rewatched Season 1 and knew he was ending up with Nancy. Season 2 really paints him as a total hero. And God damn that hair... haha. He grew up and I think he bounced off of Billy really well because he didn't want to be that guy.
The ending of Episode 8 was phenomenal imo. It hit me like a freight train to get that emotional moment between the kids. I thought Season 2 was just as good as the first. Episode 7 was a bit weird for me because it was SO different in pacing, style, and story, but I think it was important to tell the story of other "sisters" being out in the universe. Plus, her time with Kali obviously factors big in the end and that's certainly something they can revisit next season.

The dynamic between Steve and the kids, especially Dustin, is fantastic. Can’t wait for more of that in Season 3. I just hope they don’t try and do an redemption storyline with that Billy prick. And I am forever mad at Eleven. If she wasn’t  ing around she could have been around and the incident at the lab wouldn’t have happened. |
