Whilst I thought the draft itself was kinda ok/average. The only thing I was hoping WWE may have done, is revamping the arena's, giving them a bit of a touch-up, maybe different ring rope colours instead of the usual 'all white' all the time, change the ring apron to 'smackdown live' instead of just smackdown!, also give the 2 show's fresh new theme music (you know their opening theme songs). but I do miss the original draft though, you know, where the manager would pull out a ball at random, open the ball to discover the draft candidate's name. Gonna add this to the thread on the top of the page. |

Trade Cesaro to SD for ADR and I'll never have to watch Raw again.
It's sad because I love Owens and Zayne but being on the same show means they will continue there feud for ages and ages until nobody cares about em anymore. I couldn't care less at this point about there feud. I love Rusev even more but his feuds are pointless.
Anybody else hope Ziggler turns heel and him, Miz, Fandango, and Breeze form a stable? These four could be gold as a cocky heel stable.
I'm not the biggest Miz fan but he's been great since winning the IC Title and Maryse returned. I wouldn't mind seeing him dabble in the main event on SD to mix things up.
Kalisto on SD is weird since the CW division will be on Raw. It's sad but I see him being directionless for a bit. I think swapping him with Neville would have been better as Neville proved in NXT he can come off as legit with larger stars and is more established than Kalisto at the moment.

I'm still confused on the title situation. What is the purpose to having tag teams or women wrestlers on the show that doesn't have the tag and Women's championships? They were making a big deal about Smackdown not drafting any women when Raw had already taken Charlotte and the Women's title.

I was really disappointed to see that they obviously drafted the people they want to see continue their rivarly, Enzo & Cass/Anderson & Gallows on Raw, Cena & Styles on SmackDown because Cena has to avenge his loss at SummerSlam, Becky & Natalya on SmackDown, and Charlotte & Sasha to Raw. I would have preferred to see a true shake up and split up those rivalries and force WWE to basically start over because that's what this draft was suppose to be. By doing this, they're not really starting over.
I am glad Dudleyz and Usos got drafted to separate shows so we can stop seeing that match so much on Superstars and Main Event.
And I really like how it appears that the NXT stars were not told who was being drafted because we got so real emotion from them. Especially when Mojo Rawley was just sitting there towards the back with a look on his face like he knows he's not getting drafted and just wants the thing to be over with, and then they cal his name.

It seems like the youth movement is leading RAW with the more established on Smackdown.

I get people's concerns that Cena and Orton are part time and don't help SD in the long run, but why lump Styles with them? Yeah he's almost 40 but Flair was putting in some of the best matches of his career in his 40s. Why can't Styles? He hasn't shown an interest in anything outside wrestling and as long as he is healthy I see him competing at a top level for years to come.
