I'm not getting my hopes up, but I think it's a matter of time before he does. Warrior and Sting both appeared on the games first and then showed up on WWE. Although with Goldberg's case he says it's up to triple h and Vince.

I wonder if the Goldberg DM figure would get the most complaints yet for its plainness at that price point, or whether people would let it slide because it's a major star's first figure. I wouldn't complain because I don't buy the DM's until they're under $20 anyway, but seems silly to make Goldberg a DM. He should be a regular elite with the Big Gold Belt and the US Championship. |

I can't wait to pay $29.99 for a horrible yelling face scan and plain black tights! Can't be worse than JAKKS' smirking Goldberg scan. I'm not expecting anything great though if it does turn out to be a screaming face. |

If we do get Goldberg, I hope he has big bulky Hogan arms & not those overly ripped Triple H ones.
What parts do you guys speculate could be used to make a great Goldberg? Possible accessories are also interesting to speculate...

He had the badass leather jacket look that I feel everyone is forgettin. They could make him a DM the same way they did Triple H. A leather jacket, jeans and the big gold belt. Bam DM worthy. No reason at all that he shouldnt be worthy of a DM if Sting was.

The way he's promoting the game looks promising. It's a step in the right direction. Now as far as the figure goes, I would like a modified version of the triple h torso with bigger traps, the regular triple h legs would work with Austin knees and down imo. This figure should not be a DM though, unless we get a WCW US title (which is highly unlikely), WCW world heavyweight belt and a shirt. Other than that, give us Goldberg as a fb. Knowing Mattels marketing strategy (and the fact that like 90% of people want it as a DM), it'll most likely be a DM. This was the case with the Wolfpac Sting too, it's a regular Sting figure that could of sold well at retail, but for some strange reason people wanted it as an exclusive. I remember that a lot of people didn't want too and quickly changed their minds once they saw protos. Actually thinking of this now, I'll bet anyone 10 dollars that Mattel will rerelease the Wolfpac Sting at retail somewhere down the line, it's too much of a different look to pass up. |

Him being in a video game doesn't mean he will get a figure made. If that were the case he'd have a figure 3 years ago. |

I don't remember Bill saying there was a big name signed lately, but I do know he said Goldberg wasn't under a Legends contract when he was announced as the new game preorder character.
