I just read that it's rumored that Goldberg is under a Legends contract with WWE. I know someone on here reported that Bill recently said that he got the rights to make someone big, but didn't say anything else. Does anyone else think that Mattel has a Goldberg in the works?

If true, its about time. I been confident for quite some time that we'd get him eventually. Same goes for, say, Kurt Angle. But once he was involved with 2K17 ,i figured it was just a matter of months before we got confirmation that he could be made. Still, I'll consider it a victory only when we get official confirmation.........RSF maybe?

I wonder if the Goldberg DM figure would get the most complaints yet for its plainness at that price point, or whether people would let it slide because it's a major star's first figure.

It will happen eventually in sure. Goldberg is one of my all one wants. Only issue is that there isn't much in terms of alternative figures. His attire kind of remained consistent. Although I think he switched to linger tights in wwe. I would love a dm Goldberg with wcw title and maybe a shirt. Don't think they can release the old us title.

Although obviously not as iconic, I thought his tights in WWE were so badass. If I were a shredded wrestler I would probably have those black and white "boxer brief" style trunks haha

I think the big name bill recently got the rights to is either Goldberg or its gonna be hogan
There's not a lot of big names left that aren't in TNA

I know there are a lot of Goldberg fans out there. And regardless if you were a fan or not, I get why there are so many people out there who want this figure. I'm not gonna deny his popularity during the Monday Night Wars. But for me personally, he's very low on my list of wants. If they did make him, would I buy him? Sure. But am I hoping that every little hint that maybe he's possibly coming back in some way turns into him getting a figure? Not at all.

Goldberg had like 5 pairs of tights his entire career. 2 in WCW & 3 in WWE. And his 2 WCW ones are hardly different and 2 of his WWE ones are even more similar. So they'd have to look for street clothes attires to make relatively soon into his contract unless they spaced them out. But then you take the risk of a Hogan problem occurring

But then you take the risk of a Hogan problem occurring I also had that thought but you can say the same thing about Brock and they managed to make several elites of him in variations of practically identical attire. |
