Man, Pettis looked great but Poirier was something else! Couldn’t catch as much as I wanted but that fight was great. Read that Pettis injured his ribs but not sure to what extent. Man i hope they give poirier what he wants and he gets gaethje. Gaethhe will destroy that little prick the same way johnson did. Dustin poirier aint got the chin to fight the way dustin poirier fights.

Missed Sanchez/Brown earlier, but got to see it on a replay - I wonder if Diego is well and truly done now...

Jack Swagger just signed with Bellator MMA which I think is awesome. He's got legitimate wrestling experience from his college days.
Unrelated but back when I was a big WWE fan I really got behind Jack, he's always been one of my favorites. Always gave him the belt in my figure fed.:-p.
Now I gotta find the DA Jack Swagger figure for my MMA collection :-p.

Thats very true. He'd probably do better in Light Heavyweight. But i bet he doesn't wanna deal with weight cutting. I think in Heavyweight you can be a certain amount of weight over their opponent (correct me if im wrong), so thats why hes in Heavyweight. Anyways, good luck to him.

No idea why/how Nate deserves a WW title-shot... except that it will sell PPVs (and I guess that is what matters!). And there's always the McGregor factor - if Nate was the WW champion, that 3rd fight would just be gigantic... Cyborg vs Holm made official for December 30th I'm picking Holm to get the upset win... especially if Cyborg is over-aggressive. Should be fun though.

I’m liking the sound of Diaz/Woodley...I can imagine the trash-talking to be quite entertaining, especially from Diaz...
Holm/Cyborg at UFC 219 is intriguing too...Holm has lost a fair bit of lustre since shocking the world a while ago...I doubt she can do it against Cyborg though...

I just wanna see someone shut Woodley up ,so i think Nate has a good chance at that, even though Nate is better at Lightweight

I prefer Nate at LW too, but it is what it is...

I may be in the minority, but this is an easy fight for woodley. Diaz is a little bitch. He wins what, ever other fight? How he is ranked top 10 in any weight class? How does he deserve a title shot? Nate diaz isnt money. Nate is a god to stoner boys that wont buy anyway, just stream and probably pass out before the main event anyway. But i can promise i wont hand over my money to see that punk get a title fight.

Nate diaz isnt money. Nate is a god to stoner boys that wont buy anyway, just stream and probably pass out before the main event anyway. But i can promise i wont hand over my money to see that punk get a title fight. Because he made Conor tap and then debatably lost to him in the rematch that was nearly a draw. He's proven himself to be tough competition for the champ and poster child of the UFC, so that has to bump his value up. UFC rankings are weird and I don't understand them. For the Lightweight division, Nate is ranked 6, and proved to be really tough on Conor. Alvarez is ranked 4 and Conor beat him fairly easily, then in his follow up match he got a no contest because he kneed Poirier in the head. Khabib is ranked 2, but hasn't had a fight in over a year after missing weight like three times? Gaethje is undefeated, just like Khabib, but he is ranked 5th? I'm sure there is some formula I'm not familiar with or don't understand, but looking at it on paper it makes no sense. So, of course, the logical thing to do is have Nate, who is ranked in the middle of the Lightweight division, jump up to the next weight class and fight the champ. But you put him up against Conor for #3 and I will pay double for the PPV.

But when you do that, youre paying for conor, not nate. Whether you want him to win or lose or whatever...its conor that makes that a draw, not nate. And that is why nate isnt close to getting a third fight, because he overestimates his value. He sees conor getting millions and wants it too, but in reality, he is worth no more than ray borg.

Swagger is 6'5" and weighs 275-280, so he might have to cut off a leg to make 205.
