Im not saying he did. Its something i wouldnt put past dana white to bring up. But thats another story. I just think its crazy of all people he has fought, dc got him. Dc. I have never wanted Jon Jones back so bad. What say you about Brock beating DC. Stipe vs Jones. Winner vs Brock I don't think Brock can beat dc. If dc xan drop stipe, man, i think brock would die on the feet. He obviously has a chance on the ground because he is freakishly powerful. But dc is more wrestler than striker, so maybe the advantage there isn't what Brock assumes it will be. I'd have to go dc, either by mid round tko or easy decision. Jones vs stipe could go either way. Jones and that reach is crazy. How will stipe bounce back? Will he be gun shy like ngannou was? Is Jones still gonna be Jones? He's getting older every day away from the cage. I'd go Jones, somehow, someway. Setting up dc vs Jones 3. Find a way to do it at a catchweight for BOTH BELTS. Biggest fight in mma history. I'd always bet Jones vs dc. Always. But everyone loses, and Jones hasn't lost ( actually lost, not some dq bs) so maybe it would be dc to do it and finally, rightfully at that point, make a claim he just may be the GOAT.

USADA has confirmed that Brock is in the testing pool. Having 6 months left on his suspension the earliest he can fight it in January.
I wonder who Stipe will fight next. Derick Lewis shouldn't be rewarded for that boring fight. and Francis Ngannou will probably end up on fight pass.

If Brock gets DC to the ground it may be over.

Really pleased for DC... what an incredible achievement. Nah... I was a huge Jones fan, but there'll always be an asterix next to his name now. He must be pretty pissed - DC winning the HW title and now having a superfight with Brock... both things Jones was talking of doing. Karma, I guess... I just don't take the roids thing as serious as some people do. I've seen baseball players that hit .260 with 10 homers get popped. Irrelevant football players too. Even fighters that get manhandled. No amount of roids would ever help you notice tendencies, implement and practice a game plan, or go out and perfectly execute that game plan. Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier fought for 8 rounds, and Jones won 7 of them. My feeling is this. If dc beats Brock, defends both belts multiple times, finishes at say 26-1 (we all know it's really 2 losses) and even manages to beat thanos...He still has a very one sided loss and another very definitive loss to a man who has only ever lost one fight by DQ. We all know roids CAN greatly improve fighters though... there have been countless guys (Belfort and Hendricks to name two) who were different fighters when they were juicing. And why on earth take an illegal substance, unless it is giving you some sort of an advantage? Especially when (as in Jones' case) you've already been caught once, so know the consequences a second time will be very severe. He obviously very much felt the need for an edge/something "extra", or he wouldn't have done it. To think Jones taking PEDs isn't really a big deal is rather bizarre, IMO. RE. the second Jones/DC fight - it was rightly ruled a no-contest... if Jones wasn't on anything, we don't know for certain how it would have played out (the first two rounds were still very competitive). Look at something like the first and second fights between Bigfoot Silva and Mark Hunt to see how effective roids really can be and the difference they can make. I think regardless of Jones beating DC - when you view both their careers as a whole, history will be much kinder to DC and many people will still view him as the better fighter... at the end of the day, he always fought clean and also stepped up and beat arguably the best UFC heavyweight champion ever... (something Jones only ever talked about doing).

But he will never win the eye test. Throw the stats, opinions, drug tests and everything else aside. We see LeBron ain't Jordan. We see Barry bonds is the home run king. We see Reggie Bush won that heisman. And we saw Jon Jones best dc definitively twice. Jones didn't test positive for roids in his first fight with dc, and he won every round. So if the second fight "never happened" then dc has never won a single round vs Jones. I think the second fight made him look better. He won a round. He figured out a piece of the puzzle. To each his own, but my eyes saw what they saw and they won't allow me to ever call dc GOAT until he actually beat Jones.

I personally don’t care if anyone uses steroids. If you bang your body around for a living you should be able to put whatever you want in your body.

I suppose it depends on what your personal criteria is when deciding GOATs and who the better fighter is/was. I tend to view careers and achievments as a whole, rather than "guy A beat guy B, so you can't rate guy B over him"... eg. even though Fedor lost to Werdum, Fedor is still the Heavyweight GOAT when you look at their respective careers. Same with Anderson at MW (even though he lost to Weidman), Penn at LW (even though he lost to Edgar) and possibly Aldo at FW (even though he lost to McGregor and Holloway). With DC, even though he lost to Jones, he's arguably had the better career: Strikeforce HW GP winner, UFC LHW champion and now UFC HW champion (having beaten the best UFC HW champion ever). And when you couple that with the fact that Jones has twice been busted for roids, putting a huge black-mark on his career... it's not hard to see why some people would rank DC ahead of Jones. I personally don’t care if anyone uses steroids. If you bang your body around for a living you should be able to put whatever you want in your body. Maybe so... but the fact is, it's illegal/against the rules, so no-one should be doing it.

Mine looks like this 125 dj 135 Cruz 145 aldo...only because conor went up 155 Do not believe there is one 170 gsp 185 silva 205 bones Jones 220+ I believe fedora, Cain and stipe have a claim. 155...I think Penn was overrated. Sure he was a warrior, but so is Jim Miller. Bj took a lot of losses, and was given a lot of chances. Never saw the "it" factor with that guy.

Dustin Poirier just picked Eddie Alvarez apart again. The kid deserves a shot at this point. I never thought I'd say that.

Dana must've finally written out a big enough check. McGregor is now scheduled to make his UFC return against Khabib Oct 6.

Khabib can beat him if he tires him out but he BETTER NOT TRY to walk down conor mcgregor in the first round or two. He will go to sleep if he does. I expected this fight once I heard Dustin agreed to fight Diaz.

Im liking all the fights that have been announced. I saw when Nate Diaz walked out after Khabib vs McGregor was announced. Not sure why he's upset at that announcement as if it were happening at the same card as his fight, or as if he didn't know that the fight would never happen. Anyways, looking forward to UFC 229 and 230. Unless I change jobs by then, gotta ask for those two days off.
