I have to agree. You have to really beat the champ in order to beat the champ. Santos didnt do enough to me. Healthy, maybe he does. But I'm good with Jones winning as it was. Yeah i thought Santos won the 1st and 5th rounds. Jones won the 2nd-4th rounds. I disagree with Dana saying Santos was dominated. Far from it Dana and saying dumb crap are synonymous at this point. Santos looked pretty good. First UD of Jones' career I believe. I hope he gets another shot when healthy again. I doubt the ufc will push it though unless Santos wins a couple more big fights. They hate putting their stars in danger.

i still need to watch 239, but caught the quick results. looked like a great night of fights - per usual july 4th/weekend stacked cards. i'm curious to see what's next for jon jones. immediate rematch for santos? (although, he's going to be out for a while due to injuries), i'm thinking blachowicz after knocking out rockhold. even though it would be huge money, jon moving up to hw to retire daniel cromier could be something in the future (why though?, so daniel could try for a THIRD time to beat bones (ex. ortiz/chuck 4)?, jon could finish dc AGAIN... this time without failing a drug test?) we'll see...
i heard nunes said she wants to fight cyborg again? jorge masvidal... wow. i was really looking forward to that fight. i was curious to see askren's performance after the controversial robbie lawler fight and masvidal is a scrapper. five seconds!? crazy. i think his next fight all depends on the covington/lawler fight. if colby wins, i think he deserves the shot and masvidal can be the number one contender in waiting.
some nice title fights announced for the rest of the year (stylebender/whittaker, ponier/khabib, hallaway/edgar, stipe/cromier ~ which ngannou should get the winner of)

To his credit though, DC has said recently that he would want Jones at LHW again, where it's more of an even playing-field... and we know how that would probably turn out. Plus, DC has weighed in at over 250lbs for his last 2 fights... would he still be able make 205 at this stage in his career, without killing/severely weakening himself? That's an awful lot of weight to shred... and the guy likes his chicken, lol.

If they were feuding in the WWE they would with their 50-50 booking. Tito Ortiz is a Trump supporter who supports building the wall, so this is like a real life version of Alberto Del Rio's Wrestlemania match against Jack Swagger

This is exactly like Punk vs Gall. It would be worse if Tito wasn't 72.

I gag a little every time someone in the UFC payroll calls Max the best 145er ot all time.
Conor dragged him. Dustin dragged him. Sure that was at 155, but both guys were once at 145 together and max is a big featherweight.
I know they have a fight to sell, but damn.
