- Now we are on the Road to WrestleMania 6...because the next pay per view is the 1990 WWF Royal Rumble and it makes me wonder just who Hulk Hogan will defend his WWF Championship against at the PPV? Then not to mention we have the 1990 Royal Rumble Match and it makes me wonder just who will win the Royal Rumble? If The Horsemen are in the Royal Rumble Match they have to be considered favourites more or less the leader of the Horsemen The Nature Boy Ric Flair he has to be considered a favourite former WWF Champion or how about the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase former 2 time WWF Champion? Or how about Rowdy Roddy Piper former WWF Champion as well in his own right and or how about Savage what about him? Or how about such superstars such as Mr. Perfect, The Ultimate Warrior, Rick Rude or how about Andre the Giant or even Dusty Rhodes?

WWF Prime Time Wrestling December 25th, 1989 Christmas Edition Hosts: Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "the Brain Heenan"
Love: I would like to bring out the Heavyweight Champion of the World, ladies and gentlemen the Incredible Hulk Hogan! (Hogan comes out with a smirk)...I got to ask Incredible Hulkster, will you accept the Macho Man's request for a title shot? Hogan: First of all the answer is no brother, I'll take on anyone, give me Ric Flair because Flair is the guy that broke my legs in the first place. Give me Roddy Piper give me anyone, but not him brother because first of all he doesn't deserve it. Love: Well I got to say that Macho Man has a long way to go to reclaim the gold! Hogan: (laughs) That's right Brother Love because the only way and I mean the only way he could ever get a shot at the gold is well...he has to win the Royal Rumble brother (laughs) on January 21st 1990 brother at the turn of the decade the Macho Man doesn't stand a chance (laughs) Love: So if he wins the Royal Rumble, which he won't, but if he does.. Hogan: I'll make sure he doesn't win but I'll give him a sneak peak into a title shot if he wants it, he's got to win the Rumble to face me for the title brother (laughs) and as for you Miss Elizabeth, you were my woman, mine alone, I won you fair and square and one way or another you'll see I don't need you as a manager as I got the Brain by my side...but how I see you now is a woman who could share the bed with me night in and night out (Love laughs) I want a piece of that brother (laughs) Jake the Snake Roberts comes out with the IC title around his waist. Hogan: What the heck are you doing here? Jake: You know I've been quiet about all of this for a long time and after all these years after watching how you went to the top the way you are now...I kept it rolling in my head watching the video tapes man it got me thinking about how you and I have never truly stepped in the ring. (Fans chat DDT DDT DDT) You know I may be the Intercontinental Champion, but this isn't about championships. This is about what has happened the past year after all of your nonsense and bull, who would've thought that the great Hulk Hogan was a coward! Love: It's the Incredible Hulk Hogan! Hogan: And who the heck do you think you are? You don't deserve to be in my presence, I am the greatest professional athlete of all time, the best out there. You don't even get to fill even my shoes on a rainy day because that's the kind of trash you are... Suddenly Jake kicks Hogan and gives him a huge DDT on the stage as the fans erupt. Jake slowly walks away as Love tries to help Hogan.

Jake Roberts Jake The Snake after he what did to Hogan giving him a DDT on the stage like that...that takes some real guts some real balls and Jake after that I would say Jake The Snake Roberts definitely put himself in contention for the WWF Championship hell I could see Hogan having to defend his WWF Championship at the 1990 Royal Rumble PPV against Jake The Snake Roberts...given Jake is the WWF Intercontinental Champion and Hogan is the WWF Champion something has gotta give here

Alright we are now entering 1990, The Incredible Hulk Hogan (w/Bobby Heenan) is the current WWF World Heavyweight Champion. Randy Savage wants a title shot but the Hulkster may want revenge first with WWF Intercontinental Champion, Jake "the Snake" Roberts as we head towards the Royal Rumble. Demolition are the WWF Tag Team Champions, but the Road Warriors (aka. Legion of Doom) who have recently joined the WWF are going to be a big problem for them going forward. Sensational Sherri is still Ted Dibiase's valet and current WWF Ladies World Champion. WWF Women's Tag Team Championship is now defunct. Mr. Perfect wants the IC title along with other competitors like Brutus Beefcake. Despite Roddy Piper losing the World title, he's being set up for a feud with Rick Rude. The Bad News Gang is still rampant and the Four Horsemen continue with their invasion. More as we continue forward!

WWF Prime Time Wrestling January 1st, 1990 Hosts: Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "the Brain" HeenanHeenan: I can't believe that bafoon would assault the World's Heavyweight Champion, what a disgrace of a human being you are Jake Roberts. Yah you are a snake, the worst kind. Gorilla: I can't believe what a coward Hulk Hogan is. Why doesn't he just give the Macho Man a title shot he so deserves. Heenan: The guy's a lunatic and lunatics should be banned from competing. He should be fired you hear my Jack Tunney fire the guy. Gorilla: Give me a break Randy Savage is one of the top superstars here in the WWF, a former World Champion and might I add he's... Heenan: Well we got an official statement from Jack Tunney so let's listen to what he has to say... Gorilla: That was my line? Alright here is a statement from the President of the WWF. WWF President Jack Tunney Official Statement: As we have now reach the beginning of the last decade of the millenium, the World Wrestling Federation continues its committment to providing world class sports entertainment as we have for over fifty years. Our next major Pay-per-view event is the Royal Rumble, this month January the 21st, thirty top superstars will be competing in the Royal Rumble battle royal extravagenza. However I have noticed recently about Hulk Hogan's refusal to offer the Macho Man Randy Savage a title shot, and have decided that in order to find out who is the number one contender I have decided to offer this slot to the winner of the Royal Rumble battle royal. For the first time ever, that winner will go on to Wrestlemania to face off whomever is the WWF World Heavyweight Champion.
As for Mr. Hulk Hogan's request for a match with Jake the Snake Roberts for the assault that took place on the Brother Love show, I have decided that since both competitors are champions to give them both an opportunity to face off in a non-title match at the Royal Rumble if they wish to do so.
We are proud here in the World Wrestling Federation of our legacy and the legacy of our PPV events, and hope that this decade will be one for the ages and talked about for years to come, thank you. - Jack Tunney WWF President with a great ruling that the winner of the 1990 WWF Royal Rumble goes on to the WWF Championship Match against whoever the champion is at WrestleMania 6 I think that that's a great ruling but then 30 superstars only 1 winner and the winner becomes #1 Contender for the WWF Championship at WrestleMania 6...Savage the only way he would get a shot is if he won the Royal Rumble Match which I don't see happening because there are so many favourites like Ric Flair and not to mention Flair has the Horsemen watching his back how do you bet against The Four Horsemen especially in the Royal Rumble Match? Not to mention you have names like Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, Piper, Perfect, Rude, Andre the Giant, Ultimate Warrior, Bad News Brown, Hercules, Dino Bravo, Bret Hart, Jim The Anvil Neidhart, Shawn Michaels, Marty Jannetty, Koko B Ware just to name a few

WWF Superstars of Wrestling January 6th, 1990 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jesse "the Body" Ventura
Piper's Pit with Jake the Snake Roberts Piper: O man it's been a while since I did this heck when you're a World Champion you don't got a lot of time to do things but man ever since I lost the World title I thought about staying in Hollywood ha but not after I kick the rear end of that deviant Rick Rude what a perverted human being. This is a guy that went after Jake the Snake Roberts' wife, that's the kind of sick man he is and speaking of the Snake, I want to bring him out here ladies and gentlemen the Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion of the World, Jake Roberts! Jake: (walks out) Thank for having me here. Piper: Man I got to ask you you know what drove you to knock the crap out of Hulk Hogan with that devestating DDT of yours ha Jake: You now all these years, all the bull he's preached about vitamins and training and turning on the fans especially with that weasel with him, running around like he could get away with everything he's done, well I don't got twenty-four inch pythons sure, but I got a python...and I ain't talking about down there (Piper laughs)...but a python named Damien that would be happy to squeeze the life out of Hulk Hogan man. Piper: (laughs) Man I'd love to see that you know as much as I would want to get in the ring right now and take back my title, I wanna see you DDT him again! Heenan: (walks out) No you don't get to do that you nearly injured the World's Heavyweight Champion you can't do that! Piper: What are you doing out here ha Heenan: I'm out here to warn you Snake man, once the Incredible One recovers, once he gets back in the ring and faces you, and yes he accepts your challenge for a match at the Royal Rumble, it'll be your undoing. You're going to have to have that Intercontinental title belt that you carry around stripped from you, and you'll realize that you messed with the wrong man. Jake: O why don't you shut the he(censored) up! Heenan: You don't get to shut me up! Hulk Hogan (with a small bandage over his forehead to sell the DDT) suddenly appears from behind as Jake and Piper don't realize it and has a weight lifting belt in his hands as he starts to whip it over Jake's back. Piper attacks Hogan, but Rick Rude comes out and goes after Piper. Hogan takes away Damien (the snake is in the bag) and runs off. Rude gets a beating from Piper and a pissed off Jake DDT's Rude! Piper and Jake leave as they go to the back to find Damien. Vince says it's pandamonium out here and that they hope to find out what happened to Damien next week.

Wow I just can't believe Hogan stooped to the lengths to steal Roberts's snake, how dare Hogan do this? I mean think of all the cruel and evil things he has done in your diary, turning on the Macho Man and costing him the WWF Championship, destroying him and stealing Miss Elizabeth from him, taking the WWF Title himself and joining up with Bobby "The Weasel" Heenan, and this is what it comes down to. Taking Jake's snake, that is Jake's prized possession, not to mention a man's best friend. I mean it's definitely not about both the Intercontinental Championship nor the WWF Championship, you steal a man's snake, it is personal, but I fear the worst for Roberts's snake because if Hogan does something harmless to Roberts's snake, you know there's going to be sadness and anger from Roberts, all Hogan's going to do is make Roberts upset, Hogan should realize that. Moving on I think it's great that the winner of the 1990 Royal Rumble gets a shot at the World Wrestling Federation Championship, Like TG11 says there are definitely big names that would like to chase this match, I predict Ultimate Warrior as a strong favorite setting up the Ultimate Challenge for the World Wrestling Federation Championship, or Andre The Giant, or Ric Flair. There's a lot of animosity going back between Flair & Hogan last year, cause at WrestleMania 5 in your diary, it was indeed Hogan that took the WWF Championship from Flair and then Flair injured him, so surely a Hogan/Flair re-match at WrestleMania for the title clearly might happen, but the next candidate I think would work out would probably be Randy Savage, because it's been two years in the making since Randy Savage has waited a long time to get at Hogan after all the problems between these two in 1987 and now. The Mega Powers was born, and then Hogan was jealous of Savage's success, I guess the more Savage got popular, the more jealous Hogan was, and that led Hogan to turn on Savage, So Savage should definitely get redemption at WrestleMania 6 if he wins the 1990 Royal Rumble Match. So likely I'll pick Savage in the 1990 Royal Rumble Match to win because he certainly has nothing to lose of what Hogan's done to him the past two years, steal Elizabeth from Savage, injure him, cost him the WWF Championship as well, so as for Savage, There's no guarantee of what he'll do to Hogan. Anyway man i hope you don't mind commenting on my WWF 1993-1996 Diary if you would please?.

After what Hogan did I would say this WWF Championship Match between Jake The Snake Roberts and Hogan (c) w/Heenan just got personal and this match definitely will be the title match we see at the 1990 WWF Royal Rumble
I think we will get a Champion vs Champion Match at the Royal Rumble with Hogan's title being on the line but if both titles end up on the line then it makes the match all the more special
As for the Royal Rumble Match winner how do you bet against Flair? Flair is not only a former WWF Champion but he also has Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard and Barry Windham in the Royal Rumble Match with him watching his back...The Horsemen have to be favorites like who is going to eliminate them? The Horsemen yeah only one of them can win and it will be Flair because The Horsemen will make sure of that
Yeah Savage he has to be a favorite but Hogan even said himself that he will personally make sure Savage doesn't win...so Hogan could get involved even though he isn't in the match
Other favorites who could win it there's Dusty Rhodes, Mr Perfect, Rick Rude, Andre the Giant, Hercules, Haku, Big Boss Man, Tito Santana, Rick The Model Martel, 2 time WWF Champion The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase, Greg Valentine, former WWF Champion Piper so many favorites who could walk out the winner hell even Ultimate Warrior could win it

WWF Prime Time Wrestling January 15th, 1990 Hosts: Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "the Brain" Heenan
The Snake Pit with Jake Roberts: Jake: You know I've interviewed a lot of guys ha, you know a lot and I've done it on this show, but this show here tonight is the hardest I've ever done cause I feel like I've got to interview myself. As you can all see, there ain't a snake in my snake pit, no Damien man (gets emotional)...you know after I was attacked at the Piper's Pit last week I couldn't believe Hulk Hogan that son of a gun would take away Damien man...I couldn't believe that he'd do something like this or maybe I was the fool to believe Hulk Hogan wasn't capable of stealing Damien and last I've heard is that Damien has been tossed in captivity like an animal man Damien was my snake heck...he was my friend. I may have given Hulk Hogan the DDT on the Brother Love Show man, but Hulk Hogan you gave a DDT to my heart man.
You took Damien away from me, it ain't matter that I got the Intercontinental title heck I don't even care for the World title right at this time because there is one thing you don't do to a snake like me man, you don't make it personal. You never break a snake's heart because a snake's heart is closer to the head than a man's is and that just makes me want to show you why they call me the master of mind games and at the Royal Rumble Hulk Hogan, you're going to find out what it's like to taste the snake's bite, because my wrath is coming for ya and it'll slow you down six feet down under...I'm done here (drops the mic and leaves)Royal Rumble Card: 30-Man Royal Rumble Match for a shot at the WWF World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania VI.Participants: Andre the Giant, Jim Duggan, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Randy Savage, Ted Dibiase, Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham, Ultimate Warrior, Bad News Brown, Zeus, Virgil, Conrad Jones, Koko B. Royal Rumble January 21st, 1990 (Live on PPV) Orlando Arena, Florida Hosts: Tony Schiavone and Jesse "the Body" Ventura The Road Warriors (w/J.J Dillon) vs. The Rockers in a Tag team MatchIn story line J.J Dillon brought in the Road Warriors (aka. the Legion of Doom) to topple the reigning champions the Demolition as part of the "invasion", but they have to prove themselves first. Around this time Tully Blanchard was having drug problems, and was suspended, but brought back only for the Rumble; making the Brainbusters defunct as a tag team. Hawk and Animal easily overpower the Rockers early on in the match. Shawn and Marty put on a good fast pace versus power match, but the Road Warriors manage to land the Doomsday Device finisher for the pin and win. Winner: The Road Warriors via pinfall______________________________________________ Mr. Perfect (w/The Genius) vs. Brutus Beefcake for the No. 1 Contendership for the Intercontinental ChampionshipPerfect claims he's the best and the Genius complains that Perfect should've been in the Battle Royal, but Jack Tunney was too afraid that he'd win it all in one night. Beefcake puts on his usual spoof of a match till he gets the sleeper hold, but Perfect backs him up to the corner and lands a perfectplex from the second rope to the top for the pin and win. Winner: Mr. Perfect via pinfall and the No.1 Contender for the WWF Intercontinental Championship______________________________________________ WWF World Heavyweight Champion: The Incredible Hulk Hogan (w/Heenan) vs. WWF Intercontinental Champion: Jake "the Snake" Roberts in a non-title Singles MatchJake "the Snake" Roberts walks out gradually first as the crowd is on there feet. He looks upset and angry, wearing a leather jacket with the IC title belt around his waist. He takes the jacket and belt off and waits for Hogan. Hogan walks out and starts to strut, holding his World title up high and gets all cocky with Heenan walking behind him. Hogan gets in the ring and tears his shirt, tossing it into Heenan's face. Heenan looks at the shirt and throws it away looking annoyed. Jesse says Hogan must be really hard to manage with the kind of ego he's always had. Hogan holds the World title up and tells Jake that he'll never get his hands on it. Jake rushes into the Hogan and starts to beat up on him. Hogan rolls out. Jake rolls out and follows him, but it was a trap, Hogan rams the title belt into Jake's forehead as the bell rings. Hogan smashes Jake on the apron and tosses him back in to the ring. Hogan has the early advantage as Jake sells it well. Jake finally gets the upperhand when he counters and irish whip and clotheslines the Hulkster, but Hulk doesn't fall, Jake kicks him in the gut and manages to get a desperate early DDT in. The crowd erupts as Heenan is up on the apron distracting the referee. Jake gets up instead of getting the pin as Hogan slowly tries to get up. Jake knocks out Heenan who falls on the outside. Hogan hits the ropes and hits the axe bomber and pin to two. Hogan gets a chinlock, Jake is up, but Hogan goes for the sleeper. Jake is almost outcold, but gets to the ropes in time. Hogan lands a chop and that angers Jake as he counters with several chops and jabs, ramming Hogan into the turnbuckle three times, whipping him to a corner for a clothesline. Jake lands an atomic drop and bulldogs Hogan for the pin to two. The two go at it till Hogan lifts Jake up and throws him over the ropes only for Jake to land on Heenan. Heenan is down and out. Hogan goes to the outside and pounds on Jake ramming him to the railings and later the apron. Hogan lifts him over his shoulder to ram him into the ringpost, but Jake manages to jump behind him and push Hogan into the ringpost. Jake breaks the count and lands punches, ramming Hogan into the steelsteps. Jake tosses Hogan back in. Jake hits the ropes, but Hogan counters with a big boot. Hogan goes for the ropes and lands the legdrop. Hogan notices that Heenan is shouting and decides to leave. Hogan calls Heenan out and Jesse says it's obvious that Heenan can't control Hogan and he's had enough of the pukester. Jake is up and suddenly kicks Hogan and lands a DDT again for the pin and win. Winner: Jake the Snake Roberts via pinfallJake grabs a hold of the World title belt and drapes it over Hogan, talking trash and demanding Damien back. Jake leaves to the back. ______________________________________________ 30-Man Royal Rumble Match for a shot at the WWF World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania VI. Participants: Andre the Giant, Jim Duggan, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Randy Savage, Ted Dibiase, Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham, Ultimate Warrior, Bad News Brown, Zeus, Virgil, Conrad Jones, Koko B. - Bad News Gang (without Zeus) and Four Horsemen get a chance to go at it till Flair is left from among them all. - Dusty Rhodes and Ric Flair get some one-on-one time as they go at it constantly till both men are tossed to the outside by the Ultimate Warrior at the same time. Flair is frustrated and throws a fit. - Warrior is alone calling to the heavens and hyping the fans till Zeus walks out. Warrior tries clotheslines and shoulderblocks but Zeus is almost motionless. Warrior calls for the heavens and hits the ropes for another clothesline, but Zeus grabs his neck and chokes Warrior to his knees and hits his arm smash finisher three times for the Warrior to fall to his feet. Zeus lifts Warrior over his head and tosses him to the outside. - Earthquake is out next and he tries to hurt Zeus. Andre is out after and Zeus tries to stop him from getting into the ring and instead of Andre getting in, Andre manages to pull Zeus outside with the help of Earthquake from behind. Andre is on the apron but Earthquake hits the ropes and rams an elbow into Andre who falls to the outside. Andre ends up leaving hurt without even getting into the ring physically. - Later Big Boss Man and Akeem are in and they get Earthquake out however they finally fight with Bossman as the fan favorite. Bossman tosses Akeem to the outside. - The final five are Roddy Piper, Randy Savage, Ted Dibiase, Rick Martel and Jim Duggan. Dibiase tosses Martel out. Duggan, Piper and Savage all triple team Dibiase. Dibiase tries to avoid them and actually manages to toss both Piper and Duggan out to much shock. Dibiase and Savage are the last two as they go at it. Hulk Hogan runs out pushing referees aside as he doesn't want Savage to win. Elizabeth is in the corner for Savage (Sherri is on the otherside) and Hogan decides to go after her so that Savage can go after him. Savage notices, but Elizabeth manages to slap Hogan. Hogan grabs her hand and starts to squeeze hurting her. Savage gets really angry and rolls out of the ring from the bottom. One referee calls for the bell as Dibiase starts to celebrate and Jack Tunney rushes out in time. Tony says that an opponent has to go over the ropes and that the referee shouldn't have called the bell. Hogan pushes Elizabeth into Savage. Savage gets Liz behind him and points at Hogan in anger till the bell rings. The announcer announces that Hulk Hogan must leave ringside or he will have to forfeit the WWF World Heavyweight Championship belt. Hogan can't believe it and starts to argue with Jack Tunney. Hogan decides to leave in anger till Savage gets back into the ring and the bell rings as the Battle Royal continues. Dibiase and Savage are at it till Savage clotheslines Dibiase, but both men fall on the outside at the "same time". A decision can't be made and Tunney decides to award them both with the win. Winner: Ted Dibiase AND Randy SavageIn a post-match interview with Jack Tunney, Tunney lets everyone know that to settle who is the true number one contender for the World title, a match will be held between Randy Savage and Ted Dibiase during the Main Event live on NBC on February 23rd, more information will be available in the coming weeks. At the same time Hulk Hogan will have to defend his World title that same night from another number one contender that Tunney has handpicked and will reveal who it is at a later date.

- The Road Warriors coming from NWA/WCW to the WWF and in their debuts they beat The Rockers right here at the 1990 WWF Royal Rumble...I mean after that I would say Hawk & Animal have more or less made a statement here not just beating The Rockers but putting the whole tag team division on notice...they could be future WWF Tag Team Champions
- But if Blanchard is not here then what happens to The Horsemen now? I mean now the only remnants of The Horsemen that are left here in the WWF are Flair, Arn and Windham so I wonder what happens to The Horsemen now as a group?
- Mr Perfect beating Brutus The Barber Beefcake to become #1 Contender for the WWF Intercontinental Championship...then that means he would get himself a shot at Jake The Snake Roberts' IC Title now wouldn't he? A Perfect/Roberts feud I could definitely get behind especially if all roads are leading up to that especially now that Perfect won the right to become #1 Contender but then Jake is still the WWF Intercontinental Champion which makes me wonder if Perfect will somehow get involved in the main event between Hogan & Roberts?
- Jake The Snake Roberts beating Hulk Hogan in the semi main event well Jake Roberts he may have a win over Hogan but the title wasn't even on the line in this match neither one of their titles were on the line in this match the WWF Intercontinental Championship wasn't even on the line and or the WWF Championship wasn't even on the line here but Jake with him beating Hogan it definitely puts him in the front of the line as far as the WWF Championship is concerned especially because he has a victory over Hogan and not to mention Heenan with him walking out on Hogan it makes me wonder if The Weasel has had enough of Hogan already? See I told you Heenan and Hogan's partnership could never work...Heenan hates Hogan always has
- Savage and DiBiase as co-winners of the 1990 WWF Royal Rumble Match...I don't know if that could ever work especially in 1990 in WWF back then and not to mention yeah Savage wins the Royal Rumble but he has to share his shot with DiBiase yeah that can never realistically work because this is like the same finish but in 1994 in real life but why DiBiase though that is what I don't get...if anyone else were co-winner with Savage then it would have been more believable especially if it were another babyface but a babyface and a heel as co-winners just doesn't make sense I am not a fan of this at all but a match to decide who ultimately goes on to Mania 6 in the main event I think is a great idea

Dibiase in this timeline is still a stronger heel than in real life (and was pushed aside only because of Flair arriving) especially since he's a two time World champ and doesn't have a whole lot of losses compared to all his wins in the past. Dibiase is back in the picture for a few reasons as you'll see.

Saturday Night's Main Event January 27th, 1990 McKenzie Arena, Chattanooga, Tennessee Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jesse "the Body" Ventura Jake "the Snake" Roberts (c) def. Greg Valentine (w/Jimmy Hart) via pinfall to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship.Ric Flair (w/J.J Dillon) def. Jim Duggan via pinfall. Dusty Rhodes provided commentary during the match with Vince and Jesse and says that Flair was always his greatest challenge and wants a contract signed for a match between the two. Randy "Macho Man" Savage (w/Elizabeth) def. Haku (w/Heenan) via pinfall.__________________________________________ Official Statement from President Jack Tunney: As many of you know, the Royal Rumble ended with two battle royal winners, Randy "Macho Man" Savage and the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase. This strange finish determined that both men are number one contenders for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. However only one man can go to Wrestlemania VI at the Toronto Skydome in Canada to challenge whosoever is the WWF Champion that same night. Therefore at the Main Event on February 23rd live on NBC, Randy Savage will take on Ted Dibiase in a singles match to determine who is the true number one contender. On the other hand, to build suspense for such an anticipated match, I have added a special stipulation for the match whereby whoever loses the match will never again be able to challenge for the World title again. That means one man will go on to Wrestlemania to challenge for the World title, the other never again could ever be World Champion.
As for the current WWF World Heavyweight Champion, the Incredible Hulk Hogan who is no longer managed by Bobby Heenan as both parties have agree to part ways, I have decided to fine Hulk Hogan for taking away Jake Robert's pet snake and with this fine the WWF was able to release Damien from captivity and hand it over to Jake Roberts. On the other hand, the Incredible Hulk Hogan will have to face off against atop contender I have handpicked for the Main Event on February 23rd. This number one contender is none other than the Ultimate Warrior. The Ultimate Warrior has shown much promise in his career and deserves this opportunity of a lifetime. For this match we have invited Boxing World Heavyweight Champion, Mike Tyson to join us the same night to become a Special Enforcer in the main event match between Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior. Thank you.Jesse: I'm surprised that Jake Roberts wasn't chosen McMahon, he actually beat Hulk Hogan at the Royal Rumble. Vince: Jake the Snake Roberts is the Intercontinental Champion Jesse, and I believe WWF regulations don't let champions take on champions if I'm correct. Jesse: Maybe, I must say I'd still pay big money to see the Warrior take on the Hulkster. __________________________________________ Demolition (c) def. The Fabulous Rougeaus (w/Jimmy Hart) via pinfall to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships.

WWF Prime Time Wrestling February 5th, 1990 Hosts: Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "the Brain: Heenan Gorilla: Folks before we talk about The Main Event on February 23rd, I want to invite back Bobby Heenan who has been on vacation since the Royal Rumble. Brain, I got to ask is it really over between you and the Incredible Hulk Hogan? Heenan: Hulk Hogan's ego is bigger than Mount Everest, it's bigger than this planet. So yes it's over and he's got to be the worst man to ever manage. He's all about himself, that's right he only cares about himself. I hope he goes back to Venice Beach to where he belongs, shoot movies or tv or whatever he wants to do because ya he says he wants to do that. He doesn't even care about wrestling, never took anything seriously, he only cares about growing that ego of his. Heck he still wants Elizabeth! Well I say just leave us all alone do us all a favour and leave. No one ever liked you Hogan, you're a loser. Gorilla: Whoa, I told you Brain it wouldn't work I mean the two of you ever teaming up was when pigs were to fly and I didn't see them fly but you guys were together for a bit. Heenan: I don't want to talk about him. I've had it with the Incredible Puke. Gorilla: Well folks the Main Event special on NBC on February 23rd is looking fantastic: The Main Event Report: The Incredible Hulk Hogan (c) vs. The Ultimate Warrior for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship with Special Enforcer, Boxing Champion Mike Tyson. WWF Superstars of Wrestling February 17th, 1990 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jesse "the Body" VenturaThe Snake Pit with Jake Roberts: Jake: First of all I want to say that I'm thankful to the WWF for returning Damien here to me as he misses the pit no doubt. You know a lot of people were asking me since the Royal Rumble, just how Jake how did you do it. How did you defeat the Incredible Hulk Hogan? You know long ago they said it was impossible I mean how many people could ever beat him clean? But it's what it is, you don't need twenty-four inch biceps or be seven feet tall, you need to be intelligent and have the mind of a snake so you could be ready for you prey and I was at my best I gave it 110%. So I did it, but then people started asking me why I'm not pursuing the World title. I mean I could be standing here wearing the World Heavyweight Championship belt instead of the Intercontinental title. And maybe I could be champion one day, but not yet, not now. I'm not about championships, I'm about results. I'm about come in day in and day out working as hard as I can because I know hard work pays off.
So I thought about all that's happened and that maybe I did things the wrong way I mean god forbid how I approached Hulk Hogan I mean the twisted mind of his who knows what he would've done to Damien. I thought he'd run him over with that harley he rides around in. So I want to apologize to the Incredible Hulk Hogan for the DDT, I want to apologize for embarrassing him at the Royal Rumble. So let's bring out the Heavyweight Champion of the World!A kid in Hulkamania gear walks out and starts flexing. Jake: Ah man Hulk Hogan you're looking a lot smaller than I remember ha I mean look at this. Kid: I got the largest arms brother brother Jake: (laughs) Well I want to apologize...man to m...well fine man to man (laughs) so I want to say I'm sorry. Kid: (cries) I want money! Jake: Did you say mommy or did you say money? Kid: whacha gonna do when I eat my vitamins... Jake: I'm sorry but I think you ran out of your vitamins and training. I got to ask are you ready for the Ultimate Warrior at the Main Event? Kid: Ahhhh!!! (runs away to the back) Jake: I guess not.

- Jake The Snake Roberts on The Snake Pit with that kid who was dressed up like Hogan and Jake pretty much owning the kid was funny as hell...Jake The Snake Roberts the WWF IC Champion still trying to play mind games with the WWF Champion Hulk Hogan I see but will Hogan take the bait?
- The Ultimate Warrior sure is confident that he will beat Hogan to become WWF Champion but then again Hogan is overconfident arrogant thinking that he can beat The Warrior but Warrior and Hogan have never been in the ring at the same time especially in a one on one match so something has gotta give here
- Heenan is already tired of Hogan and now is right back to hating Hogan's guts all over again can we say HYPOCRITE what a weasel but that is what makes Heenan so great that is what makes him so funny

The Main Event February 23rd, 1990 (Live on NBC) Joe Louis Arena, Detroit, Michigan Hosts: Vince McMahon and Jesse "the Body" VenturaMain Event opener starts with Hogan, Warrior, Randy and Dibiase promos. Vince McMahon announces that the new World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Buster Douglas will be the Special Enforcer tonight after defeating Mike Tyson on February 11th. Douglas wants to be a special enforcer for the No.1 Contender match between Randy Savage and Ted Dibiase and the WWF is letting him do so. The special stipulation also remains for the match. Jesse says after Dibiase defeats the Macho Man, Randy Savage has nothing else left to accomplish in the WWF. Mean Gene with Miss Elizabeth: Gene: It has been sometime since I've spoken to you Miss Elizabeth, and later tonight your man the Macho Man Randy Savage will be in the fight of his life as it could be his last shot at being the number one contender for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship... Liz: Well you know Gene...(Hulk Hogan suddenly appears) Gene: Hey now wait a minute...if the Macho Man whose preparing for his match... Hogan: Well I've got my money on the Multi-Million Dollar Man and Elizabeth after tonight the Macho Man ain't gonna be macho or even a man (laughs) so after you dump him for being the loser that he is, you know where to find me and once again you can be my manager, the manager of the World's Heavyweight Champion...(Liz leaves) That's right after I take care of the Ultimate Warrior Mean Gene, I'm going to go to Wrestlemania defend my championship and guess what's going to happen after that? Gene: I don't know what? Hogan: I'm taking the title to Hollywood and Elizabeth will marry me brother (leaves) Gene: Are you kidding me! This has got to be a joke. ______________________________________________________ The Incredible Hulk Hogan (c) vs. The Ultimate Warrior for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship
Warrior is in the ring. The bell rings and it's a staredown. Hogan taunts Warrior as Warrior pushes Hulk. Hogan looks at the camera and starts to land punches on Warrior. Warrior is going around the ropes shaking them as he goes with Hogan landing punches. Warrior finally counters and lands punches on Hogan. Warrior calls for the heavens. They lock up and Warrior is able to push Hogan to a corner. They lock up again and Hogan pushes Warrior to a corner and poses. Warrior runs towards Hogan, as Hogan clotheslines him. Warrior gets up and Hogan hits two more clotheslines but Warrior refuses to fall now. Hogan goes for the ropes and so does Warrior till he lands a flying shoulderblock and Hogan falls. Hogan is up, Warrior hits the ropes, but Hogan manages to toss Warrior to the outside. Hogan follows him and whips him to the ringpost. Warrior looks like he's cut. Hogan gets back in to get the countout as Warrior is back in. Hogan targets Warrior's back, but Warrior only gets stronger and shakes the ropes. Warrior counters Hogan's punches and lifts Hogan for a bodyslam and a big splash for the pin to two. Warrior whips Hogan to a corner and as he tries to clothesline him, Hogan counters with an elbow. Hogan lands punches continuously as Warrior starts to bleed and his facepaint is removed. Warrior finally notices the blood running down from his forehead and starts to go nuts. Warrior knocks down Hogan and goes for a flying shoulderblock three times. Warrior lifts Hogan and signals for the gorilla press and lifts Hogan to much shock by the fans. However Warrior drops him when he notices Zeus walking out down the aisle. Warrior calls the heavens. Zeus gets in the ring and the Warrior tries to punch him out but fails. Warrior hits the ropes for shoulderblocks but can't. The referee warns Zeus to leave. Warrior hits the ropes for a clothesline, but Hogan manages to get up for a clothesline. Hogan laughs at Warrior till Zeus even grabs a hold of Hogan's hair and tosses him out of the ring. The referee finally calls for the bell. Winner: The Incredible Hulk Hogan via DQ to retain the WWF World Heavyweight Championship.
Vince says it's an outrage that Hogan won and that Warrior should've won. Jesse says that Zeus only got in the ring and did nothing to Warrior. Vince says if Buster Douglas was out here for this match he may have stopped Zeus, but Jesse isn't sure and says Zeus might've ended Buster's career. Zeus does his wrist-smash three times on the Warrior and beats his own chest as he places one foot on the Warrior's chest and raises his arm up high. ______________________________________________________ Contract Signing between Dusty Rhodes and Ric Flair for Wrestlemania VI
Vince first talks about Dusty's career (without mentioning rival organizations) before they go to the pre-taped boardroom clip. Jack Tunney is sitting in the middle between Flair and Rhodes. Flair has J.J Dillon by his side. Flair and Rhodes exchange words. Flair says he wants to up the stakes. Flair: Woo! That's right Dusty you fat outta-shape slob, you had no business coming to the WWF and I'm going to get rid of you. I'm the greatest World Champion of all time and to make sure I finish you off once and for all at Wrestlemania VI I want our match to be a Career Ending match. The final battle, the war will be over between us Rhodes. Tunney: The contract stipulation will have to be written out, but I can make it happen as long as you both sign the contract and sign the added stipulation once it's printed...well we can make it happen. Sign Mr. Flair here (Flair signs) and Mr. Rhodes sign here... Dusty: (signs) If a Career Ending Match is what it takes to beat you down Nature Boy, than let's make it happen. Career for Career, and at Wrestlemania VI, I'll leave with my head up high, and you'll be on your knees regretting this all. Everyone will see how humiliated you are and everyone will see that you're only a shadow of what you were, a thing of the past soon to be forgotten. Flair gets up and flips out and shouts at Rhodes as Dusty leaves laughing. ______________________________________________________ Randy "Macho Man" Savage (w/Elizabeth) vs. Ted Dibiase (w/Sherri) to determine the No.1 Contender at Wrestlemania VI for the World Heavyweight Championship. Loser will revoke all future challenges for the World title. Special Enforcer: Buster Douglas After a commercial break, Dibiase is in the ring awaiting the Macho Man. Buster Douglas is outside with a referee outfit as the Special Enforcer. Randy comes out with Elizabeth and stands face to face with Dibiase. The bell rings and they both grapple, Dibiase gets a chin lock, Randy counters and it's hold after hold till Dibiase whips Randy to the ropes to hit a back elbow. Dibiase goes for the Million Dollar Dream early on, but Randy reverses it and does his own version of the sleeper hold. Dibiase struggles till it's a rope break. Randy smashes Dibiase into a turnbuckle landing the ten punch from the top. Dibiase falls face first. Randy goes to the top ropes as Dibiase tries to get up and lands a double axe handle and pin to two. Randy does a small package to two. Randy does a roll up to two. Randy does a high knee kick till Dibiase falls to the outside. Dibiase regroups and gets back in. They lock up again, but Dibiase kicks him and does a neckbreaker. Dibiase does a backbreaker and two elbow smashes for the pin to two. Dibiase taunts the fans as he goes for a vertical suplex, but Randy jumps over him and lands his own suplex in a surprise move. Randy goes to the top rope an signals his finisher but Dibiase rolls to the outside. Randy jumps for a double axe handle, but Dibiase punches his gut. Randy is hurt as Elizabeth tries to help him. Suddenly in the back the cameras start to roll and Hulk Hogan looks drunk shouting out at Heenan and talking about how he could've beaten the Warrior fair and square. Hogan wants to walk down the aisle, but WWF officials try to stop him saying he needs to relax and go home. Hogan says he's alone, Heenan betrayed him and everyone hates him, all the kids who loved him he feels bad but at least he loves "her" and then knocks some of the officials down, pushing others. This is only the beginning of "a new 90s era" (Vince wants to push towards a slightly older demographic than just for kids and it's prime time anyway). The match continues in the ring as Hogan makes his way out drunk and runs but takes a breather and slowly heads towards Elizabeth. Hogan starts begging her to take him back as his manager and gets on his knees. Elizabeth doesn't know what to do as Dibiase has Randy in a submission move. Hogan takes out a ring from his pocket and shows it to Liz. Vince says Hogan is crazy and Jesse agrees that he needs to leave. WWF Officials start running out. Buster Douglas was about to stop Hogan but backs away as he wants nothing to do with a marriage proposal. Suddenly the Macho Man breaks the hold and jumps to the outside. Hogan is practically in tears as he gets up. Elizabeth is shaking her head. Macho tries to get into Hogan's face as WWF Officials hold back Randy. Elizabeth rejects Hogan outright shouting no way. Hogan suddenly grabs a hold of Elizabeth and drags her up the aisle. Randy goes nuts as Dibiase manages to get him back in the ring. Jesse says Dibiase should've let the ref count him out. Randy counters Dibiase and lands several punches beating Dibiase down viciously. Randy hits the ropes for a knee drop. Randy bodyslams him and goes to the top quickly and lands the elbow drop finisher for the pin and win. Winner: Randy "Macho Man" Savage via pinfall and No.1 Contender for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania VI.
Buster Douglas gets in the ring and congratulates Randy Savage who leaves. In the back the cameras are watching as Hogan drags Elizabeth trying to leave the arena with her. Liz manages to break the hold, but Hogan then grabs her hair and pushes her down near the arena gate. Suddenly Jake the Snake Roberts jumps at Hogan and starts beating him down. Hogan starts to beg and rushes out the door. Jake helps Liz up and asks if she's okay. Randy rushes towards Liz as he pushes Jake aside as Jake says he was just trying to help. Randy hugs Liz and helps her up. ______________________________________________________ Mean Gene with Ted Dibiase Gene: Million Dollar Man it looks like we've just seen the end of your championship career as you no longer can be the WWF World Heavyweight Champion. Dibiase: (comes in with Sherri) Hulk Hogan man, Hulk Hogan screws up everything costing me the chance... Gene: I don't think we can blame... Dibiase: Hogan turns Randy into a lunatic always did and there is no beating a lunatic man...this is terrible. Sherri: Don't worry we'll find a way, maybe the Intercontinental Championship or maybe... Dibiase: (pacing back and forth and stops) Wait a minute...it all makes sense if Jack Tunney doesn't want me to be the World Champion (laughs) then I'll become my own Champion I'll make a championship belt like no other and it won't just be gold (Sherri gets excited)...no no it'll be filled with diamonds o my the world will see it I'm going to be create the greatest championship belt the world has ever seen and it'll all be mine!
