The Killer Bees via pinfall to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships. The Powers of Pain came out introduced by Mr. Fuji (in this timeline they start off as heels) and help the Demolition win the match. Post-match interview has the Demolition ask Mr. Fuji that he's either with them or with the Powers of Pain. Bam Bam Bigelow (w/Oliver) (c) def. Haku (w/Heenan) via DQ to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship. Out of frustration Heenan interferes when Bigelow went to the top rope and Heenan dropped him. Bad News Brown brings out Ted Dibiase, Virgil and Sherri to back him up for the match and accepts the offer that Dibiase made. Brown beats up on Randy Savage early on. Whipping him to the ropes he lands the ghettoblaster early on for the pin, but Randy's foot was on the rope. Brown thinks he won so quickly and starts to celebrate but the referee tells him he didn't. Randy counters punches and they brawl it out in the ring and even on the outside. Sherri suddenly starts an arguement with Elizabeth and Randy notices, tosses Brown to the apron as he gets in front of Liz. Sherri begs for her life, but Brown knee kicks him and Dibiase just watches with Virgil by his side. The brawl continues in the ring, till Brown lands a sidewalk slam for the pin to two. Brown gets to the top rope and tries to mimick Randy's finisher, till Randy is up quickly and drops him from the top rope. Randy goes to the top for the elbow drop finisher, but Brown rolls to the outside. Randy jumps from the top to land a double axe handle and whips him to the railings. Randy looks at Dibiase and points his finger. Dibiase just laughs. Brown lands punches on Randy and they brawl it out again as he tosses Randy back in the ring. Brown goes for the ghettoblaster and lands it for the pinfall but Dibiase grabs a hold of Brown's legs and breaks the count. Brown is asking what the heck did you do that for? Randy manages to get the roll up victory. Winner: Randy Savage via pinfall to retain the WWF World Heavyweight Championship
Brown goes after Dibiase, but Virgil attacks him from behind. Dibiase and Sherri start kicking him on the ground. Andre the Giant walks out first as the cage is up and tests the cage. Hulk Hogan comes out to a big pop to the sell out crowd. Hogan is in, but Andre attacks him and rips his shirt and uses it to choke him. Hogan breaks free and lands punches and tries to climb out of the cage quickly, but Andre brings him down. Brother Love Show with Bad News Brown and Ted Dibiase Love: I love you...my next guests have had some animosity toward each other, but I think they want to make things right it's Bad News Brown and the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase (they walk out as well as Virgil and Sherri on seperate sides of the stage). Now you two have had some bad blood between you two, but I think a little love is needed... Brown: Now you listen here Mr. Dibiase cost me the World Heavyweight title I was going to win at WrestleFest... Dibiase: We don't need this debate, I want to make it clear that you don't get to have that title, but I deserve to win it off of the man who stole it from me. And I get what I want. Brown: You want a piece of me rich boy? Dibiase: You took a $100,000, money that belonged to me heck it was supposed to go to charity. Brown: You cost me the championship... Dibiase: Well I wanted my money back and I'm willing letting it go... Brown: No no men like you have ulterior motives you all do... Dibiase: You're right (laughs) Well how about this, if you beat Hulk Hogan at SummerSlam, I'll not only pardon you for all your wrong, I'll give you an extra $100,000. Brown: (looks confused) What? You'd give me $100,000 for beating Hulk Hogan? At the Summerslam? Dibiase: You got it... Brown: How about I give you a sample...(heads to the back and the camera is rolling) Vince: (on commentary) What in the world is going on! Jesse: I have a feeling he's going after Hulk Hogan! Brown is being followed by the camera man to the back as Hulk Hogan was in his own dressing room (after the Mega Powers match from last week, taped segment) packing his things. Brown starts landing punches on Hogan who had his bag on his shoulders and he falls. Brown kicks Hogan and grabs a hold of his hair. He rams him to the walls in the hallway and sends him down the aisle. Brown drags Hogan in disgrace and throws him to Love's stage as Dibiase watches in amazement.
Brown: You see that, look what I can do, I want more money. Dibiase: You win that match, you can work for me and you'll get all the money you want (laughs) Hogan struggles to get up not knowing what happened at all. Soon he starts to shout "Bad News! Bad News!"

Heenan gets on the mic and proclaims "All Hail King Hercules!" _______________________________________________ Gene in the back: It seems that the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase doesn't want to do this interview I had asked him several times tonight but he says he's way too busy. We aren't sure what's going on, but there also seems to be some kind of chaos in the back. If the cameras follow me... The cameras lead to the hallways as several wrestlers are shouting slurs at another. The camera zooms in and it's none other than RIC FLAIR. Note: Ric Flair was offered in 1988 to join the WWF, and thought about it but refused. In this timeline he accepts to try it out and drops his NWA/WCW World title.
Gene: I can't believe it that's the Nature Boy Ric Flair and it seems many WWF Superstars want nothing to do with him. Jack Tunney is with the man, something strange is going on and hopefully we'll get an answer soon. _______________________________________________ Randy "Macho Man" Savage (w/Elizabeth & Hulk Hogan) (c) vs. Ted Dibiase (w/Virgil & Sherri) for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship in a "No DQ or Countout" match.Ted Dibiase walks out with Virgil and Sherri to the ring. Randy Savage comes out next with Hulk Hogan and Elizabeth. Sherri teases Elizabeth as the match begins and Randy jumps to save her. Virgil attacks from behind but Hulk Hogan seems to be talking to some of the fans instead of watching. Randy is in the ring and Dibiase knocks him down, misses a clothesline and Savage clotheslines him. Savage lands elbow smashes and a knee smash. Dibiase is outside with Virgil and Sherri and comes back in and lands punches on Savage. Savage blocks a sunset flip and hits a clothesline. Dibiase starts to beg Randy not to do it, but manages to use the ropes as leverage to knock Savage to the outside. Dibiase follows him and rams his head to the timekeepers table. Dibiase tosses him back in and two elbow smashes and a backbreaker for the pin to two. Randy is up, Dibiase punches and Randy starts to punch back. Dibiase tries to suplex, but Randy lands the suplex himself. Dibiase tries a high knee kick but misses, as Randy starts to chop and whips him to a corner for a clothesline and another clothesline over the ropes. Randy jumps from the top rope for a double axe handle on the outside. Savage tosses him back in and lands punches and goes for a small package for the pin to two. Dibiase is up and counters punches as Virgil is up on the apron grabs a hold of Randy. Dibiase gets cheap shots in as the referee starts to count. Hogan is posing for some fans and Elizabeth runs to him and begs him for help. Hogan hulks up and looks at Virgil who backs off. Dibiase whips Randy to the ropes and Randy counters with a knee kick and the roll up to two. Savage gets to the top rope and lands a double axe handle. He now goes for the finisher, but Dibiase is up and Savage jumps for Dibiase to punch his gut. Dibiase goes for the Million Dollar Dream. Savage is almost outcold, but he manages to use the ropes and breaks the hold as he locks his legs with the ropes. Dibiase is frustrated as Hogan on the outside grabs a hold of the chair and goes after Virgil and Sherri who wanted to interfere. Dibiase lands some punches, but Savage counters and bodyslams him. Savage goes for the elbow drop finisher and lands it till Hogan rushes in and smashes the chair over RANDY's BACK!Gorilla: What the hell? Jesse: I can't believe it Gorilla I can't believe it! Hogan stands in the corner watching as Dibiase turns Randy over for the pin and win. Winner: Ted Dibiase via pinfall and NEW WWF World Heavyweight ChampionElizabeth rushes into the ring and screams in shock. She shouts at Hogan as to why and Hogan starts to leave the ring as the fans are still in shock. Some fans toss Hogan merch over him and garbage fills the aisle as Hogan leaves with security around him. Dibiase celebrates in the ring with the World title and Randy limps and leaves with Elizabeth. Gorilla: I can't believe what we just saw I just can't I don't know what to say... Jesse: I told you Gorilla I told the world! Graham: That son of a gun, I wish I could get out of retirement and kick that Hulkster's butt. Jesse: I really want to get a word from Hulk Hogan because this is definitely crazy. Gorilla: I would like to apologize to the fans everywhere I don't know what got into Hulk Hogan and hopefully we can get an answer soon. Jesse: Well I'm getting word that Hulk Hogan is on his way out of the stadium as we speak, we won't be getting a word right now. Gorilla: After all the years, after all the demandments after all he's done for the kids! Graham: I want one more match, I want to beat up the Hulkster. That's what I want.

WWF Prime Time Wrestling September 13th, 1988 Hosts: Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "the Brain" HeenanHulk Hogan Exclusive Interview with Vince McMahon: Vince: Hulk Hogan, at SummerSlam, many saw you in a different light after you cost the Macho Man Randy Savage the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. Randy Savage has been nothing but a friend to you, and Miss Elizabeth was happy enough to be your manager that same night but the way she helped you win that match only shows her commitment to what was the Mega Powers, a force to be reckoned with. But now...the world saw it, and the world wants answers. Hogan: (Note: I'm going along with Hogan's ideas of how he would've wanted to turn heel) First of all the truth is I did this all for the money. The truth is I've never cared for the little Hulksters and you kids who are listening to me right now, could never be as big as me, never, no training or vitamins are going to make you as big as me. Not even your prayers will be answered because they weren't answered when I lost my World title back in February. I don't need to pray anymore because money is everything man. Money cures the sick, money puts food on your table, money is what makes the world go round brother and I've seen the light man. I did all this for me, so I could make a living, and make more money than anyone ever has... Vince: I honestly cannot believe what I'm hearing, you did this all for money? I can't believe what I'm hearing, how could you not care for all the kids around the world who love you and practically idolize you and you turned your back on them? You were Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Male Athlete of the Year! The world adored you and they would've followed Hulkamania to the ends of the earth! Hogan: You need to understand how I've been living the past four years in the WWF. I'm sick of people interupting when I'm at a restaurant to get an autograph. I'm sick of all the paparazis. I can't even go see a movie without someone bugging me. I can't find a woman to settle down with because all I get are gold diggers who just want some fame from me. And then there are guys like Randy Savage. Guys like the Macho Man who not to long ago I was battling it out defending my World title day and day out and what now he's everyone's favorite? What everyone likes him? What he beat Andre the Giant? That was a fluke ha! Vince: Randy Savage is one of the greatest performers in the ring...and yes he pinned Andre the Giant, just like you did at Wrestlemania III! Hogan: You could call him whatever you want. Randy Savage is a guy who would stoop to any level to get what he wants. You got a guy who made sure I would not win the World title again. He's a guy who never asked me if I wanted my title shot, I'm the obvious number one contender! He's a guy who gets to have a championship and at the same gets the girl? Vince: Randy and Elizabeth have been together these past few years...but I have to ask I don't think they were happy with the way you treated Miss Elizabeth. First convincing her to be almost bare, and secondly you not only hugged her but gave her a kiss! Hogan: You can call it a peck a kiss it was harmless. Elizabeth went ahead with the secret weapon plan, it was brilliant. She knew if I was in trouble she'd do it and she did it for me! If she had ever done that for Randy you know what Randy would do to her? Vince: So you're blaming Randy? Hogan: Randy got what he deserved, the Million Dollar Man is once again the WWF World Heavyweight Champion and I'm glad. Vince: How can you be glad with the likes of him as champion! After all he did to you? Hogan: If someone is willing to do whatever it took to win a World title, that person deserves my respect. Vince: (sighs with a face palm) I can't believe this...you're a changed man. Hogan: (gets angry) O you better believe it brother! (flips the coffee table infront of them) you better believe it! Vince: Please please! (camera goes off air) _________________________________________________ Gorilla: That is disturbing...Folks I'm still in shock I have to admit, with Hulk Hogan's behavior. Heenan: Why? Because I was right about him? I was right about what Hulk Hogan was about? Gorilla: It's hard to believe, it really is. Heenan: Now you see Hulk Hogan for who he really is. Gorilla: For the first time I have to admit it, and I do you're...you're right Brain. Heenan: Finally some respect on this show. I was planning to branch out soon, but now the truth is out there and I'll stay. Gorilla: And what about the Ric Flair sighting? Can you believe that the Nature Boy, an international Wrestling Superstar was backstage at SummerSlam? Heenan: I would really like to know what that was about but it seems that he isn't talking to anyone. Gorilla: Well Ric Flair, for those who wish to know for years had held multiple championships from around the world and is considered for the most part, one of the greatest wrestlers of our age. Heenan: Do you think he'll join the WWF? Gorilla: Maybe...I do hope so because I would love to see him in action soon.

WWF Prime Time Wrestling September 20th, 1988 Hosts: Vince McMahon and Gorilla Monsoon Gorilla: I'm just glad you're okay and that Hulk Hogan didn't hurt you last week. Vince: I'm glad that Hogan left before he could! Well ladies and gentlemen it would seem that the search for wrestling superstar Ric Flair continues. Gorilla: Well Bobby Heenan is out as we speak on a look out for Ric Flair it looks like Heenan wants to be one of the first to approach him. Vince: This just in Heenan is on site...well let's take a look hopefully he has found the whereabouts of the hottest free agent in professional wrestling. ________________________________________ The Ric Flair Search segment Heenan makes it to Charlotte NC and gets out of a car. Suddenly he sees Ric Flair getting into a luxury car with fans getting autographs. Heenan: Mr. Flair! Mr. Flair! It's me! It's me Bobby Heenan! Flair gets in the car and drives off. Suddenly another black luxury car behind him pulls up and out comes The Brain Busters: Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson. Heenan: Hey guys I wanted to talk to Ric Flair. Arn: You want to talk to Flair, how about talking to us. Heenan: I know who you guys are and what you're all about but...since you're here maybe we should talk. Tully: Sure get in our car. (Heenan has a grin and gets in the car). ________________________________________ Vince: I can't believe that was the Brain Busters... Gorilla: They are Ric Flair's henchmen if you ask me... Vince: But you have to admit they're one of the greatest tag teams around. Gorilla: O I know what they're all about. Vince: Speaking of great competitors we tried to get a word from the Macho Man Randy Savage but it seems that he doesn't want to talk to anyone right now. Gorilla: Well at least the Million Dollar Man had this to say: ________________________________________ Ted Dibiase in a limo: Ted: Once again...once again I am the WWF World Heavyweight Champion. And I'll come out and say it, I told you all I told the world that everyone's got a price. Hulk Hogan (laughs) Hulk Hogan had a price and yes I put him up to it. Hulk Hogan realized he was living in a dream a fantasy created by poor folk that believed in him but guess what the only thing they should believe in is in the mighty dollar (laughs) Ted Dibiase gets out of his limo and walks out with Sherri. Ted: As everyone knows I'm rich, and there is no one in the WWF more wealthier, who has more than a thousand lifetimes than the Million Dollar Man, the Heavyweight Champion of the World (laughs). So Macho Man, you screwed me at Wrestlemania IV, I screwed you by using your best friend (laughs) and got back what was mine!

WWF Prime Time Wrestling September 27th, 1988 Host: Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "the Brain" Heenan Gorilla: I've got to ask, did you find Ric Flair? Heenan: You saw the footage, I found him. Gorilla: But did you meet with the man? Heenan: I met with the Brainbusters and that was it. Gorilla: So will you tell me what business you had with the Brainbusters? Heenan: None of your concern. Gorilla: Did you try to convince them to come to the WWF? Heenan: No comment. Never mind don't worry about it. Gorilla: Now that does worry me. Folks we are standing by with Craig DeGeorge who finally gets a word with Randy Macho Man Savage. Craig DeGeorge interview with Randy Savage: Craig: Ladies and gentlemen, this man was cheated out of the World Heavyweight Championship after his good friend Hulk Hogan interfered in the main event of SummerSlam (highlight shown) and purposely cost him the World title. You can get a chance to watch SummerSlam on Coliseum Home Video release. Now let's bring out the former World Champion, the Macho Man Randy Savage and his manager the First Lady of Wrestling, Miss Elizabeth (they come out as Randy looks upset along with Liz). Welcome Randy Savage I've got to ask you, how have you been ever since you lost your World title at SummerSlam? Randy: Ooo ya the Macho Man remembers ya the Macho Man remembers ya (gets angry) the Macho Man remembers! Hulk Hogan ya I never knew you had it in you ya that you had the guts to pull what you pulled ya! Craig: Miss Elizabeth I got to know your reaction... Randy: You don't need to ask her! You don't need to ask her ya because I already know how she felt ya because I felt it too ya when he made her take off her skirt or a match, I could've been cool with that if he told me about it ya if he had told me about wanting to hug Elizabeth now that would be going to far but kissing her is wrong ya you don't kiss my woman! Craig: I know you're angry at the Hulkster, but I want to know will you be asking for a rematch with the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase? Randy: Ted Dibiase's got a lot of nerve but I got to give it to him ya if he could convince Hulk Hogan ya pay the man ya pay the biggest professional wrestler of all time ya then who knows who can tell what he could do next ya what level the guy would stoop ya so the World title will one day be around my waist you could be best assured of that! Craig: Miss Elizabeth I've got to ask you about... Randy: You don't ask her right now you don't ask a man who could crack your neck and take you down six feet under standing a feet away from you ya because that's what Hulk Hogan tried to do to me ya he tried to break the Madness but I'll tell you these fans will tell you that'll it'll never be broken and I'm coming after you!!!!!

Bad News Brown def. Tito Santana via pinfall
Rick Rude (w/Heenan) (c) def. The Junkyard Dog via pinfall to retain the WWF Intercontinental ChampionshipRetirement Match: Superstar Billy Graham vs. Hulk Hogan in Singles competition
A generation vs. generation dream match, Billy Graham got himself back in shape for his retirement match after everyone saw how Hogan became a heel. Hulk Hogan walks out first but with no theme music. He is in a red and black attire. Billy Graham walks out to a huge pop. Hogan laughs at Graham and shakes his head calling him grandpa (ten year difference in age). Graham gets angry and starts landing punches on the Hulkster as the crowd erupts. Graham gets an armlock and chinlock trying to choke Hogan out, but Hogan counters and lands a standing clothesline. Graham is grasping at his neck as Hogan lifts him up and hangs him on the ropes in a corner and starts to kick him. Graham drops to the apron and Hogan tosses him back in and goes for the Axe Bomber. Hogan lands an elbow drop for the pin to two. Hogan gets Graham up, but Graham starts to land punches and chops and whips Hogan to the ropes for a clothesline of his own. Graham goes for a sleeper hold and Hogan struggles. Hogan breaks with the ropes. Graham starts going after Hogan's legs and spears it. He works on the legs, but Hogan reverses and gets the chinlock as Graham struggles to get up and starts to hit elbows but Hogan gets a front chin-lock submission in and Graham is almost outcold. The fans chant "Superstar" consistently, and he gets fired up. Hogan is amazed by Graham's power and he lifts Hogan over his back. Superstar hits the ropes for an elbow drop, but Hogan gets out of the way and lands a legdrop for the pin but Hogan gets up at two and gets heat for breaking his own pinfall. Hogan laughs and rolls Graham to the outside. Hogan goes outside and grabs a chair and smashes it over Graham's back and legs as Graham shouts in pain. - Flair in the WWF back in the 80s I honestly don't see how that could have happened but in this diary if Flair does indeed jump here to the World Wrestling Federation then that meeting Heenan had with The Brain Busters then I wonder if Heenan managed to get these men to come to the World Wrestling Federation? If Heenan met with Arn and Tully then where was Flair? I mean Arn and Tully run with Flair he runs with them so I wonder where Flair was during all of this? Unless Flair decided to change his mind and go back to NWA/WCW then that would make sense and Heenan was only able to get the Brain Busters on board because then that would be more realistic
- But a Hogan heel turn in the 80s wouldn't have worked and why I say that? Hogan was at the peak of his popularity Hulkamania was at the peak of his popularity so really would a Hogan heel turn here in this diary work?

Hogan was at the peak of his popularity Hulkamania was at the peak of his popularity so really would a Hogan heel turn here in this diary work? Flair was contemplating joining the WWF when Vince offered it to him back in '88, but of course it was better that he didn't because then no Steamboat vs. Flair etc, still it would've been an interesting turn of events? Flair likely thought it was beneath him if he had to start all over, maybe that's why he didn't come in as he was still offered a feud with Randy Savage but then again from what I remember Arn wanted Flair to come along with him and that if they did they would've never left the WWF. Don't get me wrong, Hulkamania was huge of course and big money was made in '89, but the way I see it is that since Hogan lost the title twice in this diary instead of once in real life, and that Randy was technically "the guy" somethings got to give. Vince wanted Flair to actually feud with Randy for the title, so he had to be "the guy", Hogan's successor maybe Vince at a time thought he was and maybe Vince wanted to prolong the chance of Hogan getting back the title as he made all sorts of promises with alot of people back then (heck even Bad News Brown was promised the title). It was obvious that the No Holds Barred movie was a big reason for Hulk getting back the title at WMV...still though even though the Mega Powers feud was awesome,... with no movie in this diary, I wanted to change things around after all the diary start with Hulk vs. Superfly Snuka so it is what it is a fantasy after all Since I've done a Mega Powers diary already I wanted to go in a different direction. Thanks for your opinion on this!

- It is obvious you are trying for a Four Horsemen like stable here in the WWF...because if you have Heenan talking to Flair or trying to only to talk to Arn and Tully it makes me wonder if Heenan will successfully be able to get Flair on board? If he does then you have yourself a Horsemen group here in the WWF in the 80s assuming it even works and with Heenan managing them it is perfect really but then that would only be 3 Horsemen you would have because yeah sure you would have Flair, Arn and Tully but who ends up being their 4th guy? It would probably have to be a WWF guy most likely either Ravishing Rick or it would end up being Mr. Perfect
- But Flair if he does join the WWF then what happens to his status as a heel? I mean considering in your diary right now your top heels are DiBiase and Hogan since Hogan just turned heel and with Flair coming on board he would be your #3 heel in the pecking order and knowing Flair he would want to be the top heel in the company so something has gotta give
