Todd Gurley has a laughably low number of touches almost every week, especially in the first half.

Absolutely pathetic. This team is a ing joke. 17-0 in the 4th quarter at home, no way you lose that ing game. The defensive scheming is trash, so many wide open receivers, blowing multiple long 3rd and 4th down conversions, and no effect in the red zone whatsoever. Lining up 80 ing yards away from the damn receiver and letting them get completion after completion for big chunks of yardage. This isn’t even the first time this same scenario has happened this season. Jim Schwartz’s job security needs to be taken into consideration if things don’t change. The run game is abysmal. 24 rushes for 58 yards is unacceptable. It’s obvious they need help and there are multiple trade options right in front of their mother ing faces, but what do they do? ing NOTHING. The secondary needs help, we don’t have a number one corner, what do they do? ing NOTHING. I’ve been an Eagles fan for my entire life. This is the worst loss I’ve ever watched. That includes the NFC championship in 2008, that includes the Super Bowl in 2004. This team is not a Super Bowl contender, not even a playoff team. Season. ing. Over.

I mean nobody wants to hear it, but they outperformed what they actually were last year. Ajayi isn't that good, and he is easily their best back. The receivers are average at best. The offensive line is ok. The defense is Cox and some dudes. Bennett was always over rated and over hyped in Seattle. People were ready to crown Wentz the future GOAT on 1 really good year. Foles was "easily a top 10 qb". The team would win 5 more super bowls without breaking a sweat. Then this year happened. The offense looked bad for 2 games and it was because "foles sucks. Wait till Carson comes back". Then it was wait for Alshon and Ajayi. Now it's coaching. Nah man, no disrespect, but it's the eagles. Last year was their 2012-2013 Flacco Ravens run.

I mostly agree with you. Last year they were legit and deserved to win the Super Bowl. This year they’re 8-8 at best. Nick Foles is an average QB who goes on occasional hot streaks. He’s better than guys like Dak or Bortles but not as good as guys like Ryan or Stafford, he’s like the 20th best QB in the league. He’s a starter but nothing special, no reason to bench Wentz for him. Carson Wentz is a top 3 QB and has absolutely nothing to do with these losses. When you’re up 17-0 in the 4th quarter and your QB has thrown 30/37 for 310 with 2 TDs and no picks, if lose it’s not the QB’s fault. This is 100% on the secondary and coaching. The d-line is good. Cox, Barnett, Bennett, and Graham have performed well this year. Same with Hicks and Bradham. Not sure what you’re seeing with the “Cox and no one else” or “Bennett is overrated” stuff. When the secondary gives up 3rd/4th and long in multiple games, it’s their fault and it’s the DC’s fault. They line up a mile away from the receiver and can’t tackle once said reciever becomes wide open and catches the ball. Either a trade needs to be made, the scheming has to change, or Schwartz has to go.

Barnett might be more one day, but not yet. It's not like they have a Robert Mathis to pair with their Freeney or a Osi to go with Strahan basically. They do the job, but they aren't anyone you game plan for. And no doubt Wentz is good, but I mean, Rodgers wins this game. Brady wins this game. Newton did win this game. Wentz isn't a finished product so maybe one day he is that dude, but he got blown up way too far last year. He hasn't outplayed Jared Goff this year. They likely still win that weak sauce division so there is always a punchers chance in January.

Pats/Bears game final drive was a crazy finish. Still won, with us having a rare 3 turnovers.

No matter how far the Eagles have fallen from last years Super Bowl form, they're still in the playoff hunt. The NFC East is a steaming pile of dog poo this year. Maybe the NFL should replace the NFC East division winner with Alabama in the playoffs.

They likely still win that weak sauce division so there is always a punchers chance in January. I see what you mean now. Hadn’t thought of that point before. As far as Wentz goes, he shouldn’t have had to be in that situation in the first place. The defense had given up 21 unanswered points and the momentum of the game had completely swung the Panthers’ way. When Brady wins those he’s coming back from behind, he has momentum. Same with Aaron Rodgers, same with Drew Brees. Carson Wentz has thrown 10 TDs to only 1 pick so far this year in only 5 games coming off an ACL/LCL injury. He’s been better every week since coming back. If he stays on pace with what he’s been doing he’ll finish with around 30 TDs and 5 picks. He threw 33 TDs and only 7 picks last year. Those are elite numbers. Not overhyped at all. Jared Goff has the best running back in the league along with a more consistent o-line and a great roster built around him. His defense can also hold a lead. The Rams are a better football team than the Eagles this year. Jared Goff is not a better QB than Carson Wentz.
