Not to trash Rodgers, I don't like him, but he is great and probably wins this game if not for the fumble.
It is just the narrative of these 4th qtr comebacks by the media and even Brennamen called him the master of them today. Just another reason why I listen to zero sports talk anymore. The majority are clueless.

Brady- 35
Brees- 31
Rothlisberger- 30
Manning- 26
Ryan- 26
Stafford- 26
Rivers- 24
Dalton- 20
Flacco-18
A. Smith-18
C. Newton- 15
R. Wilson-15
D. Carr- 14

Tannehill- 13
Rodgers is tied for 14th. He is tied for 11th in game winning drives ahead of Carr, Newton, Tannehill, Luck. I'm not criticizing him, a lot of this isn't his fault, I just think it's a surprising stat and differs from what the media portrays.
With that said, if I need to pick 1 guy to lead a 2 minute drive, I'm taking Rodgers right after Brady most likely and happy to have either.

If you take his comeback %, it's lower than Tebow. Let's be real. Also, throwing this out there, Green Bay got called for 1 5 yard penalty all game. They held Cooks alone 8 times that I counted. Even if you only call 25% that's 2 automatic 1st downs that keep drives going. They let Matthews hit a flying clothesline on Goff. All in an attempt to fulfill the narrative of Aaron Rodgers GOAT, that they so badly want for some reason. They downplay the talent around him every year to the point where they make it seem like he plays 1 vs 11. Genuinely baffles me. |

I really felt like we had that game tonight and then the Thielen fumble changed everything. Our remaining schedule is Detroit x2, Chicago x2, Green Bay, Seattle, New England, and Miami. NFC north is going to be tough to win this year.
