Mark Hunt does have a case, but at the same time, he should just let it go. I know UFC got s*** on by people inside the MMA world for allowing Brock Lesnar an exemption from a rule that UFC and USADA put where if a fighter wants to come out of retirement, they have to wait 4 months and undergo random testing before fighting again. I also remember reading that Mark Hunt was going to fight Alistair Overeem, with a stipulation that if Overeem tested positive for something, Hunt could get either part or the majority of Overeems money from the fight. Its weird to read hes suing UFC and Dana after getting that fight. Anyways, I'm sure Lesnar wouldn't mind settling out of court or be like, "Jeez, if its that important, heres the money, now shut the f*** up".

t was announced today that UFC Heavyweight Mark Hunt has filed a civil lawsuit against the UFC, Dana White, and his UFC 200 opponent Brock Lesnar. According to the suit, the defendants "affirmatively circumvented and obstructed fair competition for their own benefit." According to MarkHunt.TV, Hunt is suing for Lesnar’s entire $2.5 million dollar purse from the UFC 200 event plus additional money earned from the PPV. Here are a few quotes from an interview Hunt did with the website: “Yes I am suing Lesnar and the UFC for his entire purse. Cheaters deserve nothing!” “Before the fight, I was assuming he was cheating. Look at him. There’s no way that guy makes 265 pounds. That guy is a gimp, he’s sticking needles in his ass like the rest of these cheaters. And the thing about that is, he’s sitting here saying ‘this is a fair place.’ Well, it’s not fair. These guys are cheating and they should be in court for it. [They should] lose all of their money if they’re cheating, because if I die in there, who's going to look after my family?" “That’s corrupt sh*t, man. These motherf*ckers should be penalised hard. Dirty, scummy, cheating scum. That’s how that monkey won his world title. He didn’t do it by doing it clean. He did it by cheating.” “It’s only fair that if a guy gets caught cheating, he doesn’t get paid. I’m putting my life on the line when I get inside the cage, all I’m asking for is a level playing field.” (Insert Brock Lesnar "I don't give a sh*t about your kids" gif here)

Did he call Brock a monkey? This guy needs to chill out, maybe if he got in some better shape he could win fights in different ways than swinging his fists and praying for a KO.
But the way I see it, if Brock doesn't give a sh*t then why should we?

From a legal standpoint Hunt has a case. He was cheated and might not have lost if Lesnar was clean. But at the same time I read this and think "Just let it go dude. Move on." For some reason it makes him seem like a desperate crybaby. One of those weird situations where the guy is right but he should just pick his battles. Seems like he's trying to stay relevant by talking about how he lost. This is kind of how I feel. It's this weird space of me feeling like he's just crying because he got destroyed. I'm also not sure I understand why he's willing to do this while he's still employed by the UFC. Like is that Overeem fight not happening? Just seems like he wants that golden parachute check, but he didn't really earn it either. I guess if I could get $2m on a technicality, I would take it. I mean, the guy kinda has a point. I'd be upset too. Especially since Brock is actually the third or fourth guy that got popped after fighting Mark Hunt. Twice, to my knowledge. What else besides the Bigfoot fight? The Bigfoot situation is kind of bullsh*t if you know anything about what happened with that whole deal. That fight is phenomenal though. Edit: Forgot about Mir. So yeah, fair enough.

Also I haven't seen this yet: Why is he suing UFC and is still a part of the company? If Hunt loses this case won't Dana just tell him to hit the door?

To be fair he probably only has 2 or 3 fights left in him. So he would make more getting the 2.5 million, and then go to Bellator. I think the reason he is so pissed (rightfully so) is because UFC filed that exemption with the athletic commission, so Brock didn't have to go through the normal protocols to fight. It was fishy from the begining.

So Hunt definitely has a point, but didn't make sense to me to sue while being in the UFC.

I'd be fed up regardless & im a HUGE Brock fan also, him getting popped for "alleged" PEDs hurt me more than him... (maybe not as much) ![:P](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/tongue.gif)

At the time Lesnar was announced to fight at UFC 200, I had no clue retired fighters had to give at least 4 months in advance with USADA testing. I think Brendan Schuab made a huge deal about how the deal was fishy when he heard about the exemption. I think Overeem also got busted with PEDs after he fought Hunt.

I had to check before cause i swore he got busted before, but yeah, he did get busted after Mark Hunt knocked him out. Jeez, Mark Hunt is just a magnet for guys on PEDs lol

funny thing is how far UFC has fallen from what it was... and also the fact that they think "WHO CAN WE MATCH THIS JUICED UP FREAK AGAINST WITHOUT KILLING HIM? ![???](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/huh.gif) OF COURSE!! THE SUPER SAMOAN!"

As someone else said, this will most likely be settled out of court.

I think Mark Hunt has reason to think UFC knew Brock Lesnar failed his drug test prior to the fight, yet still let him compete because of the Jon Jones situation earlier that week.. If that's the reason he's moving forward, then dude has a reason to be upset.

I hope Hunt gets every dime he wants and then some. Doubtful it happens. UFC will probably settle with him to make it end. I think Brock fights it just because he's a dick.

I'd say it's his own fault for risking his life in a stupidly dangerous sport. I've never understood the appeal behind boxing or MMA fighting. Why would you want to watch two people genuinely trying to hurt each other? At least in pro wrestling you know they're not trying to hurt each other, and are actually trying to protect each other. I just don't get it. You sound like Meryl Streep You mean he sounds like a genius? I couldn't agree more.

Imagine if all this time Lesnar has been juicing and he's not actually not a super athlete just a hyped up gym monkey.
I agree with Hunt tho if you're caught cheating then you don't deserve to win.
