To be fair he probably only has 2 or 3 fights left in him. So he would make more getting the 2.5 million, and then go to Bellator. I think the reason he is so pissed (rightfully so) is because UFC filed that exemption with the athletic commission, so Brock didn't have to go through the normal protocols to fight. It was fishy from the begining. It is fishy and if anything Dana knew ahead of time and he is a piece of sh*t. He knew lesnar is a big draw for UFC 200 and Jones had just been suspended. So Hunt definitely has a point, but didn't make sense to me to sue while being in the UFC. From a legal standpoint, it looks better to raise issue while working with them. If he had the boot prior to this, it would be seen as "he's suing because he was canned". But if he still has fights on his contact, he's still employed. He's showing intent to still complete that, but raising legal issue with some fair cause. If UFC cans him now, they'll face worse press and potentially another lawsuit. Depending on result, they'll probably just come to terms for x amount and him to leave.

If Hunt settles out of court he's a punk. To sit there and talk about wanting to clean the sport and then dropping it as soon as his pockets get filled is a puss move
