I always wondered how things would've gone if Hogan hadn't left for Hollywood after KOTR '93. Would he have ever faced Bret? OR HBK? Would Vince be too focused on the 'New Generation" to deal with Hulk? A possible Undertaker match at Mania's XII, 13, or XIV? Would the nWo have existed in the WWF, WCW, or at all? Would Vince ever dare to turn him heel? How would he fare in the attitude era? Feud with Austin? Let me know what y'all think.

Hogan vs Bret Hart was going to be the main event at SSlam 93 so that would of happened for sure if he stayed. I think by 96/7 Vince would of finally turned him heel since the times were changing and no way his 80s shtick would fit in by time the Attitude Era came in.
As far as the WCW and the NWO is concerned they would of most likely put Sting as the leader as that was a rumored plan if Hogan backed out. So if Hogan stayed with WWF it would've been a whole different ball game to say the least.

If he hadn't left, I think Vince would've kep the Belt on him for awhil longer, as people have said he latched on to Hogan as champ again hoping it would somehow bring the glory days back. Bret is likely a one and done Champ, at least til 95 or so. I could see him working with Luger ( who stays the Narcissist ), HBK ( who gets squashed, and likely never gets his shot at the main event ), Bam Bam, Razor, and Diesel.
Collateral damage - Bret and Shawn jump to WCW when their contracts are up, and Macho,Hall, and Nash never leave WrestleMania 11 is Hogan vs Diesel for the Title, whil Bischoff tries the nWo angle with Bret and Shawn as the Outsiders, with Luger as the 3rd man ( he still leaves in 95 ). The Giant debuts in the WWF instead. They still create Nitro, but it's not the huge success it was.

Interesting topic. I think the NWO would have happened, I still think Hall and Nash would have left for more money and I think had Hogan stayed with the WWF at the time- HBK would have followed Nash and Hall to become that third guy.
I don't think Hogan would have ever turned heel under Vince.

Plus I don't think Shawn wouldn't have lasted long in WCW, we're talking about drug head Michaels not born again Michaels.

I wish hogan, hall, nash never left to be honest.
wcw would have stayed about wrestling with guys like 4 horseman, vader and what not. i dont think wwf would have went full rated "R" era. would still been the hulkster, razor ramon, & diesel out there battling shawn, bret, etc. we may have not got the NWO, DX, austin, rock or the attitude era. but wrestling may have stayed more like it was back in the day when so many of us loved it most. (MAYBE?)

I'm not sure who the first choice was meant to be- but I'm pretty sure I seen an interview where Sting claims to his knowledge, he had no idea or memory that he was ever told about possibly becoming the Third member of the NWO. It might have been the JBL legends show on the WWE Network. I just think Shawn would have been perfect for the role. The way he was, his attitude, his friendship with Hall and Nash. I mean imagine what a pissed off, bitter and sadly, dosed up HBK would have done skit wise to bash the WWE/WWF at the time. Eric would have loved that. Plus to a degree, I think Shawn would have had even more freedom and could have done what he wanted. Thankfully, it never happened.

Knowing Mcmahon that had a better chance of happening since I'm sure he wanted to recreate Hogan/Andre.

More freedom would've been worse for WCW, they could've been bought out earlier just trying to pay for HBK's attics. Well a lest Bret would be happy. (Is it just me, or is his default mood angry boredom?)

Haha! That's true. Yeah Bret would have been over the moon, I'm sure. Yeah it's sad really, he always seems mad or bitter, every interview you read these days he's having a go at someone- or calling someone unsafe and so on. Shame, he has much more to offer then that.

Hogan discovered him at a basketball game he went to, so same scenario, just different companies.

If Hogan never leaves in 1993, then Bret Hart smothers him with a pillow while he sleeps at some point for sure.
