Next time I have a medical problem I'm consulting wfigs first. Came to post this haha. As long as DBry is cleared by doctors, I see no issue. WWE isn't the be all and end all on medical opinion

Why is everyone chastising him for wanting the wrestle again? Because the WWE says he can't? Bryan has had multiple doctors clear him for in-ring action. The WWE seem to be he only ones not clearing him. I get both sides and don't blame either for the actions they're taking, but I do wish that they'd come to an agreement so Bryan is working in the WWE instead of somewhere else.
And for the people saying that he has a wife and kid to think of, whose to say he isn't thinking of them? Daniel himself has said that he didn't start making big money until around mid-2012, and three years later he's wrestling his supposed final match. He knows that he'd make big money in Japan and Mexico, and who's to say that the WWE will keep him employed until retirement age?
And it's funny to see that the people on here criticizing him for wanting to wrestle are the same ones that want Kurt Angle to work again when he could fall apart at any time.

I do wish WWE would come to an agreement to let him wrestle. It would be best if he were wrestling on their watch than another promotion. There's a lot of guys worse off than Bryan with multiple concussions that are still working like Dreamer, Angle, etc. You're right, I almost forgot that he didn't start making big money in WWE until like 2012-2013ish. Plus he stopped wrestling in 2015 so yeah, he made great money, but only for a 2-3 years. Of course he still gets a paycheck but it's probably nowhere near the amount he would be making if he were active. Merch, PPV and Mania bonuses are all out the window.

I see two thing happening with Bryan Danielson aka Daniel Bryan
1. WWE renews his contract for whatever years to prevent him for wrestling else where. 2. He wrestles in the indies or overseas. Whatever style he works, one blow to the head he could be done wrestling forever. Look at Bret Hart after when Goldberg kicked him in his head back in WCW.
Bryan should stay retired and never wrestle again.

What people don't seem to understand is that it isn't because of his neck, it's from his concussions. A concussion is one of the most dangerous injuries a person can get. These are the same injuries that ed up the likes of Chris Benoit, and we all know what happened with him. Even if he is wresling a "safer style", one wrong bump could up his brain for life. The guy is only 33, so does he really want to spend the next 50 years of his life permanently brain damaged? Concussions could lead to serious problems which could KILL YOU. He has a wife at home and a daughter on the way. His family is more important than any passion he has. If he didn't have them at home, then whatever, it's his life. With two people counting on him though, it would be a really stupid risk not worth taking. Not to mention that him wrestling would have very little entertainment value, with him not being to wrestle anywhere near the exciting style he was wrestling beforehand. With all things considered, this is a risk that is NOT worth taking. Bryan should just stay home after his contract expires, spend time with his family, and enjoy a healthy life while he still can.

Once Brie has the baby, he probably won't even come back to being GM. He's just not going to be of the mindset to be away from home, leaving her alone to care for a child while he's wrestling in front of 75 people trying to keep a dream alive.
After you win the WWE Title in the main event of WrestleMania....is it worth slumming the indies just because you miss wrestling?
Go home and be a father.

Literally no one in the thread knows exactly whats up with Bryan. No one here has been to his Dr appointments, but lets bash him and call him dumb, and say he's the next Benoit or Dynamite Kid. Jeezus

Daniel Bryan retorted to a statement made by the Miz on talking smack this past Tuesday and said it's not that he can't wrestle, but they won't let him. Then said we'll see what happens in a year and a half. There is allegedly more behind this statement than thought. Apparently Bryan really wants to wrestle again once his contract is up, feeling that he was forced to retire very quickly. He is actively going to doctors and is being tested on a regular basis. www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2017/0309/623967/more-on-daniel-bryan-returning-to-the-ring-when-his-wwe-contract/Stop Believing Meltzer. dude does not talk to Daniel Bryan, in fact, Most of todays Crop of Wrestlers think he is a joke. Meltzer was only popular with the 80's/90's Kayfabe group. because it was before the internet. and the only way they could get their names mentioned was via Meltzers rag mag. They would Promote him, he would promote them. Maybe it was just something that was said. people need to stop overthinking things. Do you really think WWE wouldnt edit the crapout of the comment, if they didnt want speculation

Bryan should just stay home after his contract expires, spend time with his family, and enjoy a healthy life while he still can. wrestling can kill you, even if you've never had a single concussion. if the idea is to avoid serious injury then NO ONE should be wrestling, as all it is is repeated trauma to the body. a test a few years ago showed that in an average wrestling match a wrestler sustains the same types of impact found in small car accidents...two to three times a match.

I want to see him versus Regal. They could work a 30 minute match and neither ever take a bump and it'd be incredible. Alternatively, a match with Robby Brookside would be an incredible draw for an NXT Takeover special.
There's no one saying Danielson has to be dropped on his head a hundred times and take jaw breaker lariats. Johnny Saint was still wrestling semi-regularly at 71. Low impact wrestling is no different than a dance.

What's Daniel Bryanson doing in the impact zone?! You say that as a joke, but in all seriousness, he could be the Hogan to Impacts WCW in a sense that he could bring so mich life into that company and wrestling in general. With that, he could still work Japan, PWG, and ROH. I know Impact would jump to at any of his contractual requests. I welcome this with open arms just to see how WWE reacts writting and booking wise.
